@sumiterxeroslargosiuscrosi7819 OMG, I’m a Hollings groupie and I so agree! He’s so cool. He even agreed to allow my daughter to give him a BJ! What a guy!

And a lot of wasted $. Chinese technology is all hot air, their pilots are awful and their commanders are a joke. Their satellite ISR is absolute junk too.
1
$20k per recruit? They should’ve just added a $10k savings bonus for any signee. Common sense goes a long way and these HS events are a good example of this: it’ll produce 100x more recruitments.
1
I love how our enemies are always lying about their capabilities which just result in us having that much superior tech.
1
But they’re not dependent on China. Tesla cannot operate without Chinese lithium. I also doubt most of them take personal calls and are naive enough to be fooled by Putin.
1
@loadingnewads More like the US defense industry always used the vaporware from the Soviet Union and now the PRC to get funding to produce tech that is 100x better. And now the PRC is a crumbling pyramid scheme just like the USSR was before it collapsed.
1
Constantly screaming “I’m Alex Hollings” is really paying off.
1
@ludwigfeuerbach Yes, people misidentify something they think they saw all the time. But it’s easier to fool someone with a lie than about what they’ve seen. It’s all about context though. If someone sees something at 50,000 feet in the air or during a foggy night in which clouds can reflect light sources in bizarre ways that fool your sense of scale, direction, shape, etc., that’s an unreliable sighting. If something is hovering a couple hundred feet above you in broad daylight, I’ll trust my senses over someone coming up with a 100 reasons I couldn’t have seen what I thought I saw.

You know it’s a corporate sponsored episode when the creator has a replica of the actual rocket/missile on their wall.
1
Survivable. Survivable. Survivable. A whole lot more survivable. Back into the game and survivable. Survivable.
1
@user-ep1ks2pq5r CW Lemoine and Alex Hollings are in love with themselves.
1
@chrisyoung9653 What’s your point? Either you’re saying we didn’t plan and we were alright or you’re criticizing the US for not having been ready for WWII when it broke out. The latter is no point at all. If it’s the former, we’re in a very different place from then. The country can’t shift and scale industrialization quickly like it did back then because we have no major industrial base currently and even though we were able to back, the delay cost millions of lives.
1
@samo4003 lol. OK. Like Russia, this man is apparently not a “learning organization.”
1
The F16 is my favorite platform, but most of these comments seems to miss the entire point of the video.
1
@NYRNJD1987 I didn’t see anyone challenging each other to a fist fight.
1
@oot007 It won’t happen because other countries couldn’t afford to produce a plane with those capabilities. And if you think China could afford it or could design it you know nothing about China.
1
@kinematics7092 What’s the point of comparing any plane in parameters they’ll never fly in?
1
BTW, that happened nearly a year ago. So, this didn’t “just” happen. This is extremely old news.
1
Nothing he’s done has been his vision. He wasn’t even at Tesla when it was founded. And he’s piggybacked on trillions of dollars of US funded research and development. What he has done was make, by far, the most economical space cargo service by setting lofty goals and putting tons of investment capital behind it. He’s a terrible person, but you can’t argue with the results.
1
@MrGrandure Classic. 😂
1
Stand back from, Skyborg! You want to go, meat bag?
1
Why are they launching a literal RC 1 : 18 scale fighter jet. Anyway, you don’t need to sink a ship to make it a useless hulk, which 1 missile could do.
1
As a Gravy vet, I agree. You’re welcome for my servings.
1
Something about the V-280 looks very futuristic when it’s not in camo green.
1
You’re Alex Hollings!
1
B2 and F22 for me.
1
I mean, the B2’s design was hardly changed from the first prototype built way back in the ‘40s.
1
The Chinese “stealth” fighters are junk.
1
@THE-X-Force I broke the dam. [clears throat] Ehrrmm, what I meant to say is I’M ALEX HOLLINGS!
1
Odd. The F22 seems like a very iterative design / appearance succeeding planes like the F16 and F15. However, I agree that seeing these aircraft next to an old Ford Ranger is wild.
1
I’d rather these capabilities be kept completely secret. Seems like a waste of the element of surprise. And now China will be trying extra hard to steal these design files.
1
Qatar and Saudi Arabia created the monster that is the EX, not the Air Force. If it wasn’t for them spending billions to continue developing the F-15, the EX doesn’t exist today.
1
That’s what he said.
1
Musk isn’t right about much. He is good at producing children though and stirring the pot.
1
It’s not that hard to contact him if you apply some basic common sense. It’s probably a barrier he’d like to keep up to prevent crazies from contacting him.
1
@Achilles75 If he hasn’t replied by the end of day and and this post is further down, I’ll give you a tip to make it easy to find since you can’t post emails in replies.
1
@Achilles75 As in his contact. Not standing out. And no worries.
1
@Achilles75 I let you know how. Not seeing it in replies. Click your notifications if it’s not showing up here. Reply should pop up there.
1
@ShuRugal That guy’s habitually crossing the line!
1
It’s no surprise that Hermeus seems to be run by a bunch of gear heads.
1
How can you cordon off international airspace?
1
lol, not sure anyone noticed, but the article he read claims the Russians themselves were the ones pulling bodies from the debris as if Russia and not Ukraine would be performing search and rescue in Western Ukraine.
1
You can especially can’t build everything we need when we’ve got maniacs sabotaging alienating allies who are huge arms buyers and often split R&D costs + sabotaging our economy because they have no idea what they’re doing and are transparently corrupt.
1
If it weren’t for their glide bombs, Russia would have been driven out of Ukraine long ago. So, these kits were a good example of a “game changer” worthy of the title.
1
You should be talking more about this disgraceful hold up on aid to Ukraine and how if Russia wins it’ll not just cause a refugee crisis from Ukraine, but famine and refugee crises at a whim wherever they want in Africa and the ME because they’ll control half the world’s grain and already control 85% of its fertilizer. Or that this will cause nuclear proliferation because small to medium sized countries will assume the U.S. and NATO won’t fulfill their security agreements. And hostile countries will too because they’ll assume we’re too timid to oppose nuclear armed countries. Or the fact that many of the arms were giving are retired and are costing us millions and millions to scrap. This topic is just fun what coulda been stuff.
1
I’m Alex Hollings AND I LOVE my voice! Mustard or someone did an episode on all these same aircraft + a few additional ones in a single episode.
1
Calling Dugin “a thinker” is a bit of an exaggeration.
1
@jtjames79 Anime armies FTW!
1
Nothing compared to what I could do.
1
Lockheed’s monopoly is a huge problem. It means there is nearly zero innovation in R&D or manufacturing efficiencies and processes. I also don’t think the generals and politicians trying to figure this out are smart enough / have the vision to see the best way forward.
