Cause they are hobby store RC airplanes.

I used to laugh at UFO and alien topics, but after doing tons of research and reading and depending on people with incredibly impressive resumes, it’s pretty clear we have tech from unknown civilizations. This includes anti-gravity engines and the fuel to run them. There are also numerous patents based on the tech described by these whistleblowers.
2
They already know that. That’s why they have Gephards and other systems and wouldn’t waste a PAC on a drone or crappy missile.
2
@ApocolypseZombie The video explains it’ll just be different blocks of the B-21, not an actually new platform.
2
A stitch in time saves nine. BTW, I’m assuming our littoral ship program ended up being a big success.
2
lol…have you seen the S-400’s terrible performance in the Ukraine war? Sounds like you’re a bitter, tankie.
2
Many had.
2
I’d also add that we’re in a very transitional period. We’re still not sure exactly why the skies of tomorrow are going to look like or the optimal approach. Since every time we’ve given a “near peer” the benefit of the doubt and assumed their aircraft would be as or more capable than they claimed and every time they haven’t been half as good, I’d prefer a long but careful gestation period before we produce our NGAD than rushing forward and inevitably having about 10 different blocks in the first 10 years of production and frequent delays due to realizing we need or want to add something else.
2
@thamiordragonheart8682 What do you define as design? We know what we used to produce the F-22 and the tooling used for the updated blocks exist and are in active use.
2
@hellothere1656 How did they bypass anything if they were all wiped out?
2
I’m Alex Hollings & I Stare Blankly in The Shower!
2
God, the F22 looks so sexy.
2
@CptJistuce Your second point is what I’ve always believed. Any of the now abandoned new helicopter gens or the even the abandoned ones are much better suited to the role since an A-10 can’t operate in an area with MANPADS let alone SAMS either. I mean they can, but currently the US has zero tolerance for putting their aircraft in the slightest danger.
2
@cubed0724 lol, if that’s so why is China and even Europe still unable to build jet engines that come anywhere close to engines we’ve been producing since the ‘90s?
2
The F-15 is one of the most celebrated planes ever, but it’s so good that I agree it’s still underrated. The F-15EX is the greatest war machine on earth.
2
They need to make cuts in other area. There are plenty of questionable projects in terms of need and cost + lots of way to become more financially efficient. They could also take the unprecedented step of having a few trusted partners involved in its development to spread the cost. We wouldn’t necessarily need to share any of the technical data prior to service, just guarantee they’d be able to buy as many as they wanted. But I don’t mind the idea of a modified B-21 paired with AI wingmen and 5th gen fighters basically, collectively filling the NGAD role.
2
@Matt.Willoughby I think it’s the logical conclusion. There are thousands of sightings from credible witnesses. If there were just a few dozen credible sightings, I’d chalk it off as just some remarkably rare natural phenomenon, but there are just way too many sightings. So, clearly something is out there and their tech is so much more advanced than ours it’s impossible for us to bring one down. So, it’s more believable than say a U.S. having a SAP with tech that advanced or time traveling humans or maybe not as being able to traverse distances of thousands of light years requires technology so mind boggling that things we thought were impossible might be. Personally though, I think time travel is impossible. It seems like some sort of natural law that no technology could overcome.
2
Russia can’t even manage to stop shooting down their own planes. I’m not going to sweat the F-35 readiness rates too much.
2
GLSDBs are $40,000 each. ATACMS a million each. I’ll stick with the GLSDBs.
2
@jj-eg5up Assuming that’s a joke, but in case it’s not. We’re already sending Abrams. 90% of what we have and/or are sending is stuff America mothballed or was going to mothball soon. Cracks me up when Americans think we’ve given that more than .00001% of any of our stockpiles (besides 155mm and a single type of HIMARS missile the M31).
2
@spiffyracc The Kerch bridge is already in rage of weapons Ukraine has. Its heavy railroad platform still isn’t in use. So, it’s not that critical yet. The GLSDB they’re getting will put it in easy reach. So, it’s nothing something to be overly worried about. If they feel it needs to be done NOW, NOW, they could undertake a highly risky mission with JDAMs and the MiG-29, but more likely they’ll use other measures available to them including Crimean partisans.
2
I mean basically, all the annihilation was done by air with a bit of by land based chain gun. So, there wasn’t really anything special forces about this other than the fact they were there. But, had it been just infantry against infantry, it would have been a great story as they likely would have won despite being outnumbered 10 to 1.
2
Thanks. I was working 18 hour days for five years straight to get it done. It was five years before any additional designers were put on the team. The LWP was my idea too.
2
@emmettturner9452 Olly Alexa?
2
@emmettturner9452 😂
2
@navret1707 Am too.
2
@DrGooseDuckman Goose is back and now he’s a doctor in addition to an F-14 RIO! Take that, I C E…M A N! 😬
2
A stealth face.
2
@LackofFaithify Wrong. 99% of outsourced naval construction is in South Korea, Germany and the Netherlands. And you can be sure they’ll build and replace what we need.
2
@andrewyork3869 One additional mitigating factor is that China has been incredibly slow in building and making their carriers work too. So, they’re not exactly pumping them out like fake Gucci wallets. Their first and recently commissioned carrier was an incomplete but 50% done carrier bought from Russia.
2
@GTFO_0 Yeah, the U.S. military has zero experience. My mistake.
2
@GTFO_0 Not sure you realize what the U.S. Navy does all across the globe and how constant, global use of your Navy builds up experience. Pressing the launch button isn’t the hard part. If you want a list of all U.S. naval engagements simply go to Wikipedia, it’s literally in the TOC. And it’s a lot longer than China’s, unless you consider ramming Vietnamese and Filipino fishing vessels experience.
2
No. Your head is just spinning.
2
Only thing that’s really changed recently is 🇺🇸 ramping production way up of & trying to add cheaper missiles w/the 🇺🇦 war showed our models for shell/missile consumption were way off (though I’m not so sure that far off since we fight in a very different way and we’re not going to be in a war where we use much artillery).
2
Then you’re not doing much research on channels/sources. Justin Bronk, while not having a channel, has many interviews and long, long white papers that are 100X more applicable and real world relevant. But, yeah, Alex is better than about 95% of YT channels in the same area, but then again that’s a low bar.
2
@tuestyhere You literally made a fool of yourself. GDP and PPP (purchasing power parity) have nothing to do with one another. Its great PPP doesn’t change the fact the PRC lies about its GDP figures.
2
I want to thank you for your thanks.
2
@boris001000 The abacus was invented by Moses. They just stole one of his prototypes.
2
@bobbyr8071 Your logic is less than stellar.
2
@140theguy So, you’re going to sacrifice the F-22’s stealth to give each two more missiles and therefore subject the two aircraft to between 24 and 46 missiles? Very intelligent.
2
For all the people saying the F-22 would be more deadly and crush the F-15 in air-to-air combat? Duh. My argument is not on which is currently the best plane, but the F-15’s history and what it’s accomplished combined with the awesomeness of its final iteration. The F-35 is more capable than an F-14, but I’ll never think it’s a more “badass” plane than the F-14.
2
@140theguy BTW, I listened to that radio / cockpit recording. It was wild.
2
@asterixdogmatix1073 I was literally about to reply “OK, I’ve got earned you enough kopecks for the day.” lol. So, yeah, you’re dead on.
2
@knowsmebyname I really want to see the bottom of the world. I’ll need to bring gravity boots to walk upside down.
2
@ You bots never seem to need to wait to proclaim your stuff generation 8 and amazing. And it’s all “copium.” BTW, we know our technical designs were stolen. Chinese nationals pled guilty to it.
2
@Introspection-01 The CCP has its citizens celebrating a test flight of a prototype like they’ve just been to the moon. Meanwhile, we have 6th gen plane in production and we’ve had a whole collection of various 6th gen fighters flying for years (AKA development, where it seems like this hilarious lightweight bomber that requires three engines has only just flown in recent months and the PRC knows it’s got nothing to worry about in terms of protecting secrets because it’s got nothing new and it’s why it flies in public).
2
That’s Uncle America’s Sandboxx to you now by executive order!. From the Gulf of America to the Straits of America, all your name are belong to us!
2
There’s tons of interesting analysis you could be doing of the Ukrainian theatre. But you’re no Justin Bronk I guess.
2
@ lol, the Chinese couldn’t even successfully make true 5th gen aircraft despite having all our design documentation. Go watch Millennium 7 if you want Eastern propaganda.
2
He is far from the only one or even earlier ones to be talking about how this was a telegraphed “retaliation” done knowing it wouldn’t provoke counter strikes. Their problem is that they made it a little too obvious.
