So, basically this post was just about the quality of cafeteria food and convos at NORAD.

@Chris-g5r6f Not a Dutch/Norwegian naval project? Either way, this was an obvious idea that should’ve been begun 30-40 years ago. Just like it WAS obvious that commercial drones were going to revolutionize warfare 15+ years before Russia invaded Ukraine.
3
@siamesestormstrooper Examples: 1. Vietnam War (broke the gold standard) 2. Afghanistan (cost enough to put every single American through college and graduate school for free) 3. The drug war (lol) 4. The war on terror Yep, the only threat to us is ourselves. The PRC couldn’t cross the Taiwans strait without sinking most of their armor.
3
I’d also like to thank him for constantly reminding us that he won an obscure journalism award!
3
And Alex is definitely doing his job to put them on the map. He’s basically made this video 10 times already. I don’t mind that though. They need every edge they can get.
3
@thomas_jay Why do you think he flipped 180 degree so quickly? Golden kompromat.
3
“You’re free to go. Move along.”
3
@luvitluvitbaby the one taking off the ramp was 1 : 18 scale toy at most. Have you seen real drones taking off from an aircraft carrier? They don’t look like that. I almost expected to see a hamster waving from the cockpit.
3
Not really, but had the Grand Old Putin party allowed proper volumes of our old arms to Ukraine before and during this war, it’d be over and they’d be pretty quiet right now w/Russia defeated and China deterred by seeing how hard it actually is to take over a country that doesn’t want you there.
3
The J20 looks like it ripped it off the YF23 more than it ripped off the F22. Personally, I like the F22’s looks a lot more.
3
If they went down this route, we could get a lot more B-21s and then ultimately get an NGAD a little later.
3
A “Ferrari version” is a terrible way for them to describe their intention/idea since the 6th gens aren’t about speed or agility, but tech features like loyal wingmen, better stealth, EWS, “family of systems” / “sensor fusion.”
3
I’d if prefer it if they called them Disloyal Airborne Berserkers.
3
That’s what they used according to Ward Carrol’s Navy sources.
3
“Pretty much.”
3
Modularity is now starting to really work, especially when they’re realistic in expectations. It didn’t before.
3
@Legion-xq8eo Yup. Politicians and War Thunder fan boys have been the sole barrier to getting rid of the worthless A-10 for more than a decade now.
3
I live an hour south of Vandenberg AFB and the SpaceX launches still rock the shit out of my house.
3
@SodiumEx The real question is are you an actual person rather than a paid troll. And if so, how gullible are you?
3
@MattyJ55046 Is your question would forget to incorporate an aero expert if they were designing such a mission today?
3
It’s frustrating how many forget / never knew operational costs are the most VIP cost factor + whether or not it can assume and eliminate the roles of and need for other platforms.
3
@Iamabot4708 Anyone who’s been studying Sino geopolitics, economics and tech for decades like myself. How about you?
3
Amazing you said it perfectly and the first response was some troll. Kind of the perfect summation of social media.
3
@uku4171 It is a traditionally Jewish bread and appears braided. It’s sweeter and puffier. It is very similar to brioche. I’m assuming you’ve had that.
3
@Johnappbeees22 Have you ever met your clone? I have. What a jerk!
3
kijesticproductions7640 “They don’t need a blue water navy though. They just need to be able to defend their shores.” Not if they want to truly project world power or reap the full benefit of their road and belt initiative. America is so powerful because we can guarantee security and more importantly, safe commercial shipping across the globe. That allows it to extract massive trade, political, military, etc. concessions. Moreover, a carrier that is required to refuel at port makes an easy target. Nothing is as simple as many might think at first glance.
3
This is Space Laser Power….and I’m Alex Jones!
3
@ogdocvato Yeah I guess you’ve never seen that maneuvering, EWS, flares, etc. from even less advanced aircraft have long been capable of defeating multiple missiles or the fact that it’s highly routine for one of the missiles coming off the rack to have a failure or not achieve a strong lock. But OK. They’ll have a 100% hit rate on the F-15 and all enemy aircraft. Once again you’re confusing reality with video games and Lockheed marketing in which every system works 100% perfectly in real world conditions. You’re also also assuming each F-15 is going to fight each F-22 one-on-one rather than multi-ship formations, which gives them a lot more flexibility, variety of ways to saturate the F-22 and ability to mask each other’s presence. That and the fact that the F-15 can carry anything they can and many things they can’t.
3
@tinto278 I have seen odd circular contrails that are segmented as if the jet was rapidly going on off on off. Not sure if this is what the contrail would look like. I highly doubt it was any top secret pulse detonation engine.
3
@AJNpa80 It’s true. He also went to Teegeeack and beat the Overlord Xenu in an arm wrestling match.
3
He is far from the only one or even earliest sources to be talking about how this was a telegraphed “retaliation” done knowing it wouldn’t provoke counter strikes. Their problem is that they made it a little too obvious.
3
@verdebusterAP Wish he had listed those benefits in this video.
3
It’s also a case of putting tons unnecessary complexity for a small amount of extra bells and whistles that aren’t needed much of the time. And in terms of things like one-way drones they’re making models that perform worse than off the shelf tech for 50-100x the price. 🤦♂️
3
@ I know what you mean, but it’s an idiotic assertion. He tends to cheerlead a lot for all the us defense contractors.
3
USAF, MRCG, etc. pilots still come up training on non-combat aircraft and F-22s used for training would still be hugely expensive. If they have the funding for that, they’d just keep them in service. No, besides some very specialized red flag exercises and test beds for advanced tech, they will definitely not be training planes.
3
Yes, it was a pretty spotted look at the weaponized laser space.
3
NO, I’M ALEX HOLLINGS!
3
@THE-X-Force never explain your jokes to people who can’t understand humor! ps - lol, he thought you were trying to steal ALEX HOLLINGS’ FAME!
3
@db84drteg There was political pressure that came from the public. Obviously not the 24/7 💩 fest we have now. There were also still a lot of dumb politicians, ego fueled generals, admirals as well as pay for play, etc., etc. Everyone is just looking back with rose tinted glasses.
3
It’s already been flying for years.
3
Was going to say the same thing.
3
The A-10 ISN’T an effective platform which is why everyone in the military has wanted it gone for years. You’re confusing YouTube shorts with reality.
3
We KNOW for a fact they’ve used alien disinfo to cover for programs, but IMO, there are just too many stories from people (many non-credible, but thousands and thousands of credible people too) with stories ranging the gambit from seeing to touching craft that we certainly non-human. There are thousands of servicemen who’ve come forward with stories that don’t just don’t line up with testing prototype aircraft. We usually don’t test one-off alien looking ships overseas.
3
Let’s also remember, that reporting on UFOs has been so taboo that basically any reporter trying to ferret this stuff out would be committing career suicide. So, you’ve never had the best people in our best field for finding out secrets trying to dig up the truth.
3
Yeah, since the F-35 only has a payload big enough for like a fly. But…this was fit into the F-35 first.
3
100%. And, just like with most technology, continually upgrading and refining the latest generation of PROVEN aircraft would likely have nearly the same capabilities as your newest cutting edge platform AND a thousand more available. And even if a competitor was about to debut something way more advanced, only a handful of them isn’t going to do anything. Also, even the ancient gen 4 F15 has shown with the F15EX has shown, you discover an old platform with new tech can provide capabilities never dreamed of before.
2
I think the future will end up being swarms of extremely small drones packed with explosives, but big enough to have the fuel and weight to fly quickly. More economical and likely more effective.
2
Whatever the F/A-XX ends up being it should have the range to be able to deploy from Japan. That would eliminate the vulnerability and limitations that comes with depending on carriers. Since BVR is king, it need not have the maneuverability of an F18 or even just that of F35 for that matter or the ability to take off from a carrier.
2
@piotrd.4850 The F-15EX is about the greatest thing ever built. It’s basically a B-52 with 5x the speed, 25x the agility and even more wild, not that much less payload capacity. Its also get that sexy new beast of a radar.
2
You’d think he could just blur out that part and reupload. If he was meeting fair usage standards, they can make copyright claims until they’re blue in the face and it won’t get taken down if you simply challenge their claim, which then means a human reviews it to verify you have followed fair usage.
