MAGA Republicans are openly saying they want to see 🇷🇺 win so much that they’ll reject an immigration deal that goes beyond their wildest dreams just to deny 🇺🇦 aid.
1
Ol’ Orange. Soon, he’ll be losing his way off stage just like ol’ Joe. Difference is that one of those fossils won’t sell America down the river to make up for his small hands.
1
@jmcw9632 He’ll probably send the troops into Ukraine to help Putin. He can’t have the only country that provides him loans falling apart.
1
And this has exactly what to do with Ukraine?
1
@williammorris584 Only among the MAGA GOP, which wants them to lose.
1
It’s insane that despite the Ukraine war having exponentially more potential geopolitical + real world implications for the US than Israel/Gaza, the latter gets 50x more coverage despite being a cyclical conflict with far less potential to impact the US significantly let alone the everyday lives of Americans.
1
Unmatched in the world? That’s fair when compared to other newspapers and legacy news channels, but that bar is pretty low.
1
Chinese drivers are know for their skill and calm demeanor behind the wheel. So quite a surprise.
1
lol, Russian bots voting heavily here. Putin is so afraid of NATO that’s he stripped his entire border with NATO member Finland of soldiers, air defense, etc. He just thought he’d be a legend if he captured Ukraine and didn’t want a democracy to make him look bad.
1
Orbán not honoring ICC commitments to arrest Putin?! Big mind blower! The ICC warrant will keep Putin marginalized + prevent wishy-washy countries like 🇫🇷 from getting away w/restoring normal relations and/or doing business w/Putin.
1
Let’s stir up some more good natured 💩 talking between Dom and Francis. BTW, Lloyd Austin is one huge man. Biden is extremely tall and Zelensky small, but Austin looked like a giant next to Zelensky.
1
Either a Russian bot trying to create division in the West or someone who doesn’t pay attention to geopolitical developments and then screams “no war” anytime they see kinetic weapons being used.
1
Settle down.
1
They’re not buying time to plan. They’re degrading the enemy so that when they do launch their counter offensive, Russia will have almost nothing left.
1
@vins0045 Poor, “Peter the Great,” his economy is collapsing and he’s buying arms from North Korea. North Korea! Spin that, bud.
1
Ah, and so the little swine’s war continues w/the aid of the GOP, France’s + Spain’s usual excuses, posturing and, ultimately, lack of interest and last but not least Switzerland’s tidy and oh so neutral vaultures.
1
OK, KremBot.
1
It’s a mislead. But, I agree, that COs should not be advertised not just for OpSec, but to prevent dumb Western media expectations.
1
The Ukrainians should announce their own sham referendums in the disputed territories . “A digital ballot box” with whatever results they want for the 20% of the world so lazy or stupid they just hear a headline and believe it (E.G., “Donetsk votes to join Russia”).
1
“The location was home to newly recruited Ukrainian forces,” Peskov willl say. Translation, a maternity ward where potential future soldiers are born. Finally, the AP, after zero due diligence, will run a story whose headline paraphrases Peskov and makes no mention of the Kremlin’s track record on credibility

Here’s what Russia winning looks like -the loss of 70% of their inherited Soviet stockpile -energy export revenue decimated + by extension its whole economy -the loss of most of their arms market -500k+ casualties -Putin politically so weak that he has to ban all real and even tolerable fake candidates -the loss of its entire Black Sea Fleet -NATO hugely expanded, including along most of its Western border -And on and on

Here’s what Russia winning looks like -losing 70% of its inherited Soviet stockpile -its economy / energy revenue decimated -the loss of most of their arms market -500k+ casualties -Putin so unpopular all real + most fake candidates banned from election -the loss of its entire Black Sea Fleet -Countries neutral for generations joining NATO -And on and on

It’s Trump and his base of bumpkins that don’t get it. Trump wouldn’t care even if he did. He’s for sale. All it takes is someone connected to the Kremlin funneling a few billion to Trump to buy his support. It’s as easy as buying his meme coin. Yes, the current POTUS is selling a meme coin. It’s insane.
1
And the media only help his cause by breathlessly amplifying his empty threats.

Putin’s pipeline strategy: after blowing Nord 1 + 2 pipelines, the only NG pipeline left is under Ukraine (and turned off by them). Putin hopes both that RF can hold their lines deep into winter and the EU will get so desperate due to shortage + huge price spikes they will force Ukraine into a ceasefire/peace in exchange for the pipeline getting turned back on (a total pipe dream). If that doesn’t work or he needs to end it sooner, VP will create a nuclear disaster at the Zaporizhzhya NPP as an excuse to pull all his troops out of everywhere but Crimea and its near bank to the Dnipro River to retain a buffer force to protect Crimea. To add credence to this theory, it’s reported that Russian soldiers in Kherson have been receiving iodine tablets.
1
@coodudeman Ukraine had Europe’s biggest nuclear power plants and some of its largest hydro stations. So, they were very vulnerable. Russia has also hit major transfer stations to prevent them from being able to easily import energy.
1
France has been pathetic.
1
@Friendo111 Well, unless Ukraine is using identical weapons as NZ’s outdated surplus, it’s more of a sustain headache than a help.
1
@Friendo111 Well, then, it’s something already in the family with common ammunition, then of course it could be useful. Happily, at Rammstein, an absolute boatload of new artillery systems were pledged with a majority being the best type: the longest range self-propelled artillery. Denmark even pledged EVERY single howitzer in its army. Maybe most exciting though is the Archer system. Arguably the most advanced artillery system in the world (if we’re discounting things like HIMARS) m, Sweden is sending 20 Archers. Half the total number they own. The thing’s tech is as cuffing edge as it gets.
1
@rodneyagesa1851 Get real. When at full capacity, Australia can produce 18,000 shells a month, which is over 200,000 a year. So, yeah, they can be a hugely helpful contributor. Besides, the allies have a huge number of countries that can and are able to supply shells, which is the whole point. So, they don’t need to exhaust any single one source’s manufacturing capacity or stockpiled supplies.
1
I know. An American embarrassment.
1
All the pundits obviously didn’t actually listen or read to what Kissinger said. He never said Ukraine should cede territory taken since the war began.
1
No. Armored Personnel Scooters.
1
@jean-pascalesparceil9008 My comment was a joke. IMO, who cares if it is defined as a tank under this designation and not one by that. It’s absurd either way, it’s only discussed on the basis of if Russia will get mad and escalate, which they can’t, unless it’s nukes. And when/if they escalate to nukes it will always occur at the same time: when they’re about to lose.
1
@buddyrojek9417 Ignore him. The war is basically costing us less than nothing. 90% of the arms given were being scrapped at a higher cost than giving them away.
1
Typical Russian behavior. It never stops. And those who don’t follow the war ask “why don’t they just make peace?”
1
@UmiFox 🙄
1
Dom, your pronunciations are far better than 99% of other English speakers covering the war. Anyway, I highly doubt Ukraine had an 8-to-1 manpower ratio. If it had, they would have already taken Lyman and Donetsk city by now. I also think Western man/materiel lost counts have been hilariously off. Further, I don’t think the normal 4-to-1 casualty to KIA ratio has applied in this war. I think it’s been closer to 3-to-1 or even marginally lower.
1
Don’t make me laugh. The vast majority of locals still alive in the Donbass absolutely hate Russia.
1
@wishusknight3009 haha Microjohnson. I call him Moscow Mike, but I’ll be switching to MicroJohnson. Anyway, Russia took quite literally ten years to move a half-mile and capture Avdiivka at the cost of a small city’s worth of Russian KIA.
1
@wishusknight3009 lol, the best of both worlds. Guy makes me sick. He’s no different than a serial killer.
1
@yuglesstube The reality is that the vast majority of the population in the Donbas want Russia gone.
1
This is just typical Russian behavior.
1
Russia is spending close to 70% of its budget on the war/related expenses. They’re just concealing the fact (and not very well). It’s why they’re seizing the assets of both businesses + individuals.
1
The one thing Roland got truly wrong was that Putin would legitimately get 50%+. No. Not close. They aren’t even allowing fake opposition this year. They’re that scared because when unknown anti-war candidates comes to prominence in mere weeks and then their candidacy is denied by the Russian CEC, it is obvious they’re aware of how many people want him out.
1
No matter how bad the existing system, totally dismantling everything ALWAYS results in mass chaos, violence and poverty for an extended period. Simply look at almost every regime overthrown by a radical political revolution OR by the US via the CIA or army,
1
Another country with more traditional, centrist choice vs corrupt, far right demagogue reflecting a polarized society. Most of the multinationals with true import to Russia’s economy have pulled out killing millions of Russian jobs as well as leaving behind lots of overhead, which will ensure major companies won’t risk reinvesting in the mark for a decade at least.
1
This guy is good at twisting the truth (e.g., the filibuster has been constantly altered throughout our history and the current filibuster system/cloture was primarily developed in the 1970s). He talks about the democrats wanting to pack SCOTUS rather than balance it, which is what they want to do. And he fails to mention all the dirty tricks the GOP used to get its huge SCOTUS majority. He also fails to mention basic failings that have arisen in the long run in our electoral representative system. I don’t think the founders ever envisioned any citizen’s vote in one state (Wyoming) having 60x times more legislative weight than another state citizen’s (California). I also don’t think they envisioned we’d ever have a court that’d allow unlimited $ in politics. So, all these implications that our founding framework was flawless on delivery or that if a rule is 100+ years old it must be good is inaccurate and insincere since there have been lots of big alterations to the system since its founding. BTW, not a fan of Biden, but this guy seems to have a strong political agenda.
1
It’s probably just to incite Russian shills.

That was his guest. Not Francis.
