  8. ​ @OneHitWonder383  it's not that bad. It taxes spending. We have it in Australia as well as income tax. They have exempt fresh food but tax processed food. We have a weird alcohol one to help grape farmers. There's no alcohol tax on any type of wines or stuff with wine in it. A 375ml bottle of beer is more expensive than a 750ml bottle of wine. It's crazy to see.

  9. Agreed. My sister ends up in Canberra a few weeks of the year because it's the biggest city near them. The standard of living and food quality and prices are insane. They're eating imported gourmet everything while we're looking for discounts in woolworths.

  39. That WAS A THING caused by burning low grade coal. The acid was sulphuric acid and it was a real problem in east Germany. Because communists and basic environmental common sense don't go together. Clean Air Act 1991 fixed that. The coal is still there and still usable with the sulphur removed or acid neutralised.
