You are better off spending 60k plus on a TRD 4Runner. You get what you pay for. You might even have to give dealer 10k markup too. Everyone wants the 4Runners. You gotta pay to play.

Honda and Acura have extremely over sensitive yaw rate sensors for early warnings. Especially when on an angle. They need to fix it in software.

Honda needs to put a 6 inch lift and bigger tires if they want to keep it a trailsport. Also need to recalibrate sensors so not as sensitive.

Well that’s what short cab means. 😂 People wanted two doors, but with plenty of room behind the seat to put things. People asked and Toyota gave. Here’s something that went over your head. They make a 4 door version. You should watch”this” video and see for yourself. You have options. I knew your comment was a failure. 😂

I’ve had over 100 plus cars in my life. Rs3 is my favorite car I’ve had. It’s fast in all weather conditions. Plus it’s super reliable.

@kenhoward3512 epa doesn’t force Subaru to use CVT. Subaru chooses it because it’s cheaper and easier to manufacture. Plus less warranty claims. Huge win for Subaru.

The GC is improving every year. I’m waiting for the new hurricane engines to be out in next. Huge game changer. Straight six reliably with more power than the hemi. The interiors are very nice now. I have lot of experience with Porsche, Audi, bmw, and Lamborghini, so I know what superb quality is. Jeep is finally catching up now. Obviously they will never beat them in precision, but they are making them great now.

Problem I have with the 4Runner is ingress and egress in back seats. Getting in and out is a choir. Rear tire hump protrudes into the rear door, making it getting in and out very hard. Cheap plastics are awful too. Plus 4 cylinders a downfall. It looks great though on the outside. I’m also a paint expert and Toyota has worst paint than Honda. Definitely wrap it in clear film.

Honda has oversensitive sensors so they don’t overheat. This forces people to back off. Acura is same way. This is why you can’t hold gears too. Honda wants safety and reliability. Even the Type S MDX is neutered with over sensitive sensors.

Watch JonDZ videos on his passport. He takes it through very rough terrains and no issues. He knows more about this system. He’s got a lift and all protection underneath. He’s more than confident in the system.

They drive slow, too much roll, bad brake dive, fit and finish is awful. Plus it has way worse mpg. Passport is the better road vehicle by a huge margin. Better feeling and build quality. Plus it has more room. Much wider too. Rock crawling, get 4Runner.

@DiscosVideos In order for them to do hybrid, especially Honda, it will be a 4 cylinder non turbo one. So less hp, just to get mpg. Honda says to buy a CRV. Still good amount of room, great Mpg, and CVT. That’s why a lot of people buy them. Many people upgrade from a hybrid CRV for more power with V6. Maybe in years when they do a V6 hybrid. They just don’t have that technology yet. Remember this is a boxy vehicle, so being a hybrid won’t make a huge difference. Still close to 25 on highway is great for its size.

@DiscosVideos My friend manages a Honda dealer and he says he gets Toyota people who buy the Pilot because of V6. Mainly because the Highlander went to 4 cylinder and they don’t like it.

Problem with Subaru are the owners. They all have pronouns and pride flags on them. That’s their new identity vehicle. So a huge pass. They are all selling their teslas and buying Subarus.

He just got lucky. It’s not a true AWD. It’s only an asssisted electric motor. These will get stuck and are nowhere close to a true AWD system like Audi, BMW, or Honda Acura Shawd. Subaru is even better. I’ve seen many of these not even make up a steep incline. Ryan just got lucky in this test.

Toyotas AWD is not the best. Hybrids made them even worse.

Honda knows most of its buyers will never take it off road. They know people want something that looks rugged for potholes and bad roads. Something that is great in snow and bad rain. That’s what 99.9 percent of the buyers want. Only .01 percent will take them off road. They sell a lift, tires, and skid plates for those 1 percenters. Anyone looking for serious off reading will spend 65k on a Jeep or 4Runner.
