Binkov's war scenario was finally tested in the Karabakh war. It was then we realized his videos are entertaining but far from reality. Don't worry Binkov I'll still watch your videos for entertainment purposes.

@Hypersp3ce596. I remember following their drone development. The hate was the same with most people saying these things would either crash or get lost. Humble pie I guess.
245
@GeneralKatarn A fleet of drones do not cost the same as a fleet of manned planes nor do they serve the same purpose. If they did, no one would bother building drones. Also no one claimed anyone was on any scale with anyone over anything. This argument is so strawman that it's cringe. Try debating what was actually said, instead of what you imagined was said.

@themax9913 If this were the case a French warship in the Aegean wouldn't have been completely locked out of it's own systems with it's captain pleading for help on the radio. Forced to leave the area with it's tail tucked between it's legs. I'm thinking you're overestimating French electronic warfare capabilities and underestimating what the Turks seem to have. Just sayin...
27
@themax9913 You might want to continue to do more research. As far as bias, it's fairly obvious which one of us is triggered. I don't have a dog in this race, you obviously do. So again, do proper research before mouthing off insanity. This is a public forum after all, someone will call you out.

He literally mentioned Israel when talking about the most capable militaries. A military which had trouble defeating a bunch of guys in sandals stuck in a concentration camp using homemade weapons made in their basements. Had so much trouble with them that they had to resort to going after unarmed women and children. Binkov goes full ret@rd once again. Reminding me of his analysis of Nagorno Karabakh and then that war actually happen. Nothing Binkov said would happen happened lol

@LexlutherVII For a vast majority of the history of human civilization China has been wealthier and more powerful than Europe. Europe has only been powerful for a very small stretch between the 1500s-1900s. Like you said "look at history."
11
@alexander66sir You seem pretty sure the Koral system was in that area at that time. Which is great, I'd like to know if that's true as well. Can you please share with me the irrefutable proof you seem to have so I can also share your assessment on the issue?

The idea of Ukraine retaking Crimea is ridiculous beyond the scope of anyone's imagination. Russia will unfortunately start ww3 before letting Crimea go. They feel (rightly or wrongly) that Crimea is a matter of life and death for their state.
10
The EU wouldn’t be able to fight itself out of a paper bag right now. Be realistic. They need the American safety net

@Shadowfalls89 Constantly invading your neighbors because Winnie the Pooh says so implies that they've been invading their neighbors left and right. Which is obviously bullsh!t. If the atrocity at Tianamen Square perfectly embodies the essence of their government, are we to assume that Canada oppressing, robbing and committing crimes against the Trucker protestors embodies the essence of the Beijing Regime? Or America's invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan and it's destruction of Libya and Syria embodies the essence of the regime in Washington? I'd imagine you wouldn't go there, because you'd have to be intellectually consistent to do so. I'm no fan of the Chinese nor would I under normal circumstances defend them. But comments like yours are highly irrational and highly problematic and stick of a misplaced superiority complex coupled with doses of some nasty racism.
8
@Hunter&Gatherer, if you actually ask the original inhabitants of Crimea they probably dont' want to be under Russian or Ukrainian occupation. The Crimean Tatars have had it rough with Ukraine and Russian colonial settlers for hundreds of years. In a perfect world there wouldn't be any Russians or Ukrainians on that strip of land.
7
You're so right, Greece is so much more powerful than it's neighbors that it feels the need to have it's prime minister begging at the doorstep of every European capital for help.
7
@n5304 considering how efficiently and cheaply they're able to produce so many systems. It won't even really matter that their econ is in shambles. Hell the greatest strides they've recently made was during times of economic crisis. So the economy argument isn't a really good one. The real question is more complex. If they're able to do what they've done with an economy in shambles and a shoestring budget. What happens if they get their economy together and throw more money into that efficiency? Then what?
7
@tritium1998 You said "They can't even make simpler technology" What does that even mean? Is it your contention that they can then make technology which is not simple? Either English is not your native language or you have the communication skills of a goat. Which is it?
7
I see Binkov drinking that Kool-aid again.
7
People made fun of their drones too. Until they started asking to buy them.
6
Learn to read between the lines. What they really mean is "we hope it won't be ready anytime soon."
6
120 years ago yes. Today? It seems like western Europe is the sick man of Europe no? But then again are we even allowed to say sick "man" anymore here in the west. Should it then be the sick (insert one of the 10000s genders we have today)
6
Any system can be captured in a war. What is your point? Do you think a tank which cannot be captured exists?
6
@code2700 Someone doesn't need to be Turkish to look at the situation rationally. The advances you guys have made in the military tech field in the past decade are nothing short of shocking. The only people who wouldn't agree with this are either overly emotional people who know nothing or people suffering from massive cognitive dissonance. I'm not sure how much this military tech industry is going to help your country though. In 100 years your country is going to collapse no matter what you do. You know why? Because you have an enemy no military tech can defeat. Genetic damage from inbreeding. The small segments of your society who inbreed have been inbreeding so out of control in the past 50 years that 100 years from now you're most likely going to have a highly genetically damaged, emotionally unstable low IQ population. So yea, build all the best planes and military tech you can. But you also have to stop people from having sex with their cousins. That is your biggest threat lol
6
@andymage7179. You could make a case for that but not with this conflict. They're the ones who are constantly being attacked, having their homes stolen, their children slaughtered and the survivors stuck into concentration camps.
5
So you think god wants an apartheid state which sticks humans into concentration camps to survive? I mean couldn't he find a better way to bring the King back, without involving some of the most evil things humans do to each other? It is interesting.
5
@SoloWolf1000 Yes Taiwan is armed to the teeth and defending an island is a lot easier than defending a land invasion.
5
@assassin_rk42 The comment was not only true, it is demonstrably true. You underestimate how much our reputation has been ruined in the global south. Only a person who doesn't know much about what is going on would claim such a true statement to be dumb.
5
Don't say Nato. Just say Turkey and America. As every other Nato nation's military capability is a joke. Maybe you can add Poland to the list of nations with a military capable of fighting a large scale war. Maybe..
5
@metehangokturk9696 he is referring to the childish rants in the comments section from people who for one reason or another seem to be triggered the Turks are attempting to build such things.
4
Do you know what superpower means and what it entails? No Turkey is not a superpower, In fact it isn't even attempting to become one. There is a difference between being the dominate power in your region and a global superpower.
4
I guess all those questions are going to be answered once this thing is operational. You seem rather optimistic it won't be good. I have a sneaking suspicion your optimism will wane.
4
We didn't seem to care about human rights records of nations like Saudi Arabia and the UAE when selling them the planes. Congress isn't interested in human rights when it comes to the sale of the plane. If for one reason or another they don't want you to have the plane, they will use human rights as the excuse. That is how it works. There is no way Indonesia has a human rights record even close to as bad as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates or Israel. Congress simply feels it isn't in their strategic interests for you to have that plane.
4
COnsidering the lack of Ammo it isn't that insane. Aside from Turkey and America. There is nothing insane about Nato's airpower. Yes England and France have high end planes. But they don't have the logistics to keep them flying, no enough pilots and barely any ammunition.
4
I'm unware of what happened with the Swiss and the F-35. Would you mind giving a quick recap of it?
4
@quantuman100 If the bullets started flying the US navy would have serious trouble getting too close to the Chinese mainland. Mind you rolling up with your aircraft carries on a nation with the capability to launch 1000s of missiles at it every 20 minutes isn't a risk most nations would take. Out in the open seas yes the US navy would curb stomp the Chinese. But so close to Chinese shores? They'd get curb stomped. They're pretty open about admitting this as well.
4
@Sam_Guevenne apparently the guy who made the comment does. So yea, someone does care.
4
@capella95 Imagine making irrational claims like this just because someone pointed out a fact which is extremely relevant to the conversation at hand. Remember Facts>Your feelings.
4
@samedmundson6470 That's a pretty weak way to prove your point.
4
@dondelchulia3189 How childish was that comment bro? lol
4
How trained are they? How willing to fight are they? How much experience do they have? Do they have enough ammunition? They’d get wrecked and their leaders know it
3
@davidecapannelli6681 Modern SAMS weren't made to deal with drones. Which is why those cheap drones get through those networks. Still doesn't change the fact modern aircraft can't penetrate. Also those drones weren't some makeshift drones made in a basement. Most of them were highly advanced Turkish drone tech. They kind of specialize in cheap yet highly effective drone warfare. One might say they're the best at it right now. Still doesn't change the fact you're not getting modern aircraft over Russian skies.
3
@kuvikina In reality Russia is the enemy of most ethnic groups in that entire region.
3
@maerto If that region had any sense of democracy Crimea wouldn't be part of Ukraine or Russia. It would be it's own state.
3
I remember people saying the same thing about their drone program when it first started. How'd that one age John? This isn't really analysis based on any rational thought, it's mostly an emotional plea on what you want to be true. I hope you don't apply this sad strategy of making sense of the world on all other aspects of life.
3
@Aggelos4460, if this were the case the Greek government wouldn't be bending over backwards to get French support. Apparently you don't agree with your government's assessment of the situation
3
Iran? Seriously?
3
@ahmetfurkan9462 Iran's drone tech isn't on par with Turkey's but don't sleep on Iranian drones. They're quite useful. Which is why Russia is buying them. Don't sleep on those Persians.
3
I'd imagine it's a lot like the wheel. Certain shapes work and people stick with it.
3
AA good ol Binkov. Very entertaining channel, I'll always watch it. Dont' take it very seriously though. He actually did a video once about a hypothetical conflict. Then that conflict actually happened. Binkov was sooooo far off how it actually played out. This might be another one of those instances.
3
@patienceisalpha Interesting, thanks for the information.
3
@howdareu964 If Ukraine gives the Russian military a bloody nose or worse it will be a huge blow to Russia's prestige worldwide. Once smaller nations get a playbook on how to fight back against the bear, how much influence will the bear be able to put on all these nations? It's going to be interesting how this all plays out.
3
@anlfrat8411 This is true. The sick man is now out of bed. The people calling him the sick man are now the ones who are ready to fall into bed.
