Russia can’t invade Europe, that much is obvious What else is obvious is that if the eu sent troops to Ukraine to fight they’d get wrecked. People don’t realize how broken down European military forces are.

@Valmontst Russia pretty much neutered Ukraine which was armed to the gills with Nato weapons and money. And when you say USA/Nato. Just say USA and maybe Turkey. Aside from those 2 there are no other Nato nations with a military that has operational readiness. Poland comes close to being operationally ready but that is about it.

@tiredox3788 They had two stated objectives. 1. Control all the Russian speaking areas. (That is essentially done) 2. Neuter Ukraine's ability to wage war. (almost done) Our media spinning events by telling us things like "Russia is on it's last legs" is demonstrably false at this point and that narrative has fallen apart. Poor Ukraine has been destroyed because of our willingness to use them as a pawn on a chessboard. Soon our leaders will simply pivot away from Ukraine and act like nothing happened. Just watch.

@wankawanka3053 You might want to re-read your history. If the Turks had more support they wouldn't have had less fuel, less ammo, less weapons nearly 80% more trucks and a lot less planes. Fact of the matter is Greece is the only country I know of which invaded another country which had no army and still lost. I don't 'think the Turks were "heroic" as they claim in this war. It was more so the Greeks being Greeks, completely and utterly inept

@attackattack976 I actually like this comment. People often confuse Turkic and Turkish. They're no longer one and the same. The vast majority of people in "Turkey" who we know as "Turkish" are anything but Turkic. They're about as Turkic as Mexico is European/Spanish.

@Sadoyasturadoglu That depends on how you define identity. Now if a guy claims to be the descendant of a horse rider from central Asia when he isn't, it's fair play to call it out. As far as Arab DNA in Turkey, you should travel the country once in a while. Especially in places like Hatay. Also can you please link me to any study about this 1/3 theory of yours? All major studies have it at less than 3%.

@ganiopro I'd imagine France would sell Greece down the river if their interests dictated it. France is extremely uncomfortable that their influence in North Africa is under threat by Turkish interventions there. That is why they're backing Greece. Not out of some sense of loyalty. They will do what it takes to continue to rob Africa.

@jxxxxx44 Well the major difference is there isn't a genocide going on in Ukraine. Regardless of which side you support. Both Ukraine and Russia have been quite careful in not killing civilians. Less civilians have died in that huge war lasting almost 2 years than the amount of women and children Israel kills in one week. So dragging Ukraine into this debate is kind of strange.

@@duffelbagdrag This isn't the 1990s. Defending carriers isn't as easy as it used to be. Our policy makers are under the assumption no one would dare attack them, so they sit there. But if people were motivated enough to take them out, they'd make a real go of it. If Russian launched a ton of Kinzal hypersonic missiles right now, it would be GG for that aircraft carrier. If Turkey send a swarm of the 100,000 drone force they have, GGS for the carrier. That task force doesn't have 100,000 missiles to shoot them all down. But Washington is calculating that none of these two things will happen and I agree with their analysis. Russia wouldn't want to start ww3 over this and Turkey has zero interest in sinking America's carriers. But to sit there and assume that strike force could defend against "anything" is delusional. Col. Mcgregor had a very nice podcast about that btw.

We all know Binkov's scenarios are pretty far from reality. As evidence with some of his hypothetical conflicts actually happening in real life. As far as the UK and France? The UK would absolutely wipe the floor with the modern French army, who by the admission of their own generals have only 4 days of ammunition.

@Forsakenblade, They probably won't take any islands because the international sanctions they'd face would cripple them. The last thing they're worried about is you "not letting them." Militarily there is literally nothing Greece can do to stop it, in fact I'm not even sure they'd try. No chance they'd expose their Navy that far off their mainland. Greece as a decent military but the distances involved for Greece to get to those islands compared to Turkey make it a very uneven contest. Either way it's irrelevant as it won't happen.

@Alper Senturk, Greece's military is quite weak but lets be a little realistic here. Greece's military capabilities are vastly more superior to a nation like Armenia and a bit more superior to Bulgaria. Stop being ridiculous.

@James Sharpe, Israel will wait and watch to see who has the upper hand and act accordingly. Egypt would never try to fight a war off it's own shores. That situation could easily lead to a revolution and topple their government. So yea, there is no way Israel and Egypt would join this battle. Other than statements and moral support and perhaps supplying one side.
