What's best for the Chinese? What kind of world do you live in?
4
What's frustrating is that youtubers and American influencers are starting to spout the exact same rhetoric and it's getting frustrating. Doug DeMuro was one I just recently noticed when talking about Chinese cars. When he said "they're so ahead" and offered no specifics as to why, I just rolled my eyes.

@OrenIshiii-rg7sr It's because a lot of customers are also cheapskates. Markets ultimately dictate the quality of products that is being made.
4
Influence is only as good as there is money. I have never heard of anyone stay in good standing once they start becoming delinquents.
4
Xi's comment is synonymous to praising someone who is losing weight because they have cancer. What a dolt.
4
Self awareness has been bred out of them. Nothing is ever their fault.
4
Same rant. "This is propaganda" "This is propaganda" "This is propaganda" Get a life!
4
Japan and Germany are the definition of high quality
3
They're clowns. Enough said

There are so many people who "claim" to be able to do a physical job when in actuality they can't. This is a good way to vet people who are serious versus those who are lying. Another thing that they should do is make people lift 50lbs since lots of jobs require this. If they can successfully lift 10 in succession, they should be hired.
3
All well and good until the local street enforcers start harassing you.
3
Self awareness has been bred out of them for thousands of years.
3
Open AI basically takes what the internet already does and takes it one step further by compiling and putting together what it found in an easy readable format. It the same things that we were taught in school when we research a topic.
3
Lol, chip in Huawei is at least a couple if years old and they can't up yo date chips and it's outperforming Samsung and Apple? We aren't dumb.
3
I would choose a Lexus over a Merc and definitely a Merc over a Huawei.
3
@maxt240 not if you live in city centers
3
@myintmaunmaun There are other places to live: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Belize, etc to name a few. People aren't starved for choice. If you still choose China then there's clearly something wrong with you.
3
And the Chinese dismissed it as anti-China propaganda...
3
It all boils down to management.
3
It's ok, they won't be on the road for long. Once their quality is tested, they will go back to Toyotas.
3
And yet more often than not, it's not uncommon to see Chinese in the special back rooms where you know they are gambling their house(s) away.
3
@markdsm-5157 Some can. Others are just racking up debt paying their rent or mortgage. So having a contingency fund only goes so far. It's not infinite.
3
Lol, they are the biggest one.
3
@mehanimations2675 no they aren't. Not here in North America
3
So gross lol
3
Same can be said about gutter oil - why not just put the used oil in resceptacles instead of throwing it down the drain. It's also not good for pipes.
3
If you can upload a video of what a typical mall looks like then it would be appreciated.
3
@Zergcerebrates 5000 years of chaos and lawlessness isn't a feat worth boasting about.
3
Frightening especially for people who are going to use them. They're sub par and therefore dangerous.
3
@DK-gj5sp you're so full of it. They're sending kids to South Africa, India, Brazil and Russia? Yeah right 😂
3
@MrBigbangbuzz In the Philippines, if you're going to show off to this extent people will expect you to pay for dinners and what not because you're mister or miss bigshot. That's why a lot of rich people especially old moneyed rich people hide their wealth.
3
@winstonpham4809 Is anyone suppressing you in the West? Why even compare the two?
3
Why don't they just set up dorms in the company building? They basically act like they own their employees at that point. Give them a bed and an allowance for food.
3
@SithLordAnakin "adds character" in Chinese actually means "put up with this bs because you don't have a choice" lol. It's the last refuge of the powerless and downtrodden.
3
They eventually will...
3
It's such a dirty term
3
90% of items in a given economy are fruitless. You just need a roof over your head, food to eat, and clothes to wear. Everything else is extra, that's why we are seeing industries slowly collapse that are non essential.
3
Even the bikes they will want people to buy will be the electric ones. Wouldn't be surprised if they phase out "normal" bikes or regulate them more.
3
@withyouonemogen I find this to a be a trait that I see in a lot of Chinese-brag for the sake of bragging.
3
Read "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend. He was a former US consul who lived in 1930s China. They've always been like this. Chinese made no distiction between the army, police, and local gangs. It's always been a mess.
3
Best joke ever 😂

"The character of the people has been traditionally such that to thrust money into anybody's hands as an investment was always a gamble. Hence a Chinese with money might as well gamble it over the gaming table as any other way, and have at least the thrill of exciting play instead of the long gnawing anxiety following the equal, if not greater, risk of investing it." "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) "They are famed for their prudence in money matters, yet their love of gambling amounts to such an insane passion that every year millions are ruined to become beggars or suicides." "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) Nothing new here
3
More and more products are being made elsewhere. Sites like Amazon are already putting where the country of origin a product comes from. I take extra steps and research a company before buying since China can just send their things to another country, thereby changing the "country of origin". So far, a lot of the companies are legit multinational companies that are not Chinese.
3
"There are not peasants in China not preyed upon either by armies or bandits. At least ninety per cent are preyed upon by both. " - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)
3
What a miserable country
3
No it isn't. Gold sits and does nothing. Businesses create value over time. Gold on its own won't move an economy but Apple, Samsung, etc will.
3
They're all delusional. It's kind of hilarious.
3
You still have to sell something. Otherwise you will all just be jobless. You also have to compete with younger more fit men who can work longer hours. The only job that I can think of that an older man may have an edge is sales. An older person may be more experienced to deal with the public whereas a younger man may still be wet behind the ears.
3
@ChristianSamsel It's called automation
3
That's a good sign. Because if that ever happens you can bet that there will be lawsuits left, right, and center. Chinese EV's don't pass safety regulations in the US.
