Maid cafes, cat cafes, muscle cafes, etc. Been to a pig cafe in Harajuku as well.

Just watch every 2 to 3 days then.

That's nice that you feel sympathy towards them when they feel none of that towards you.
3
Being inconsiderate is innate in their culture. This isn't all that surprising.
3
That's good

"This absence of lusty physical exhilaration evidently accounts for the poor showing of Chinese in warfare, and with this in mind, any talk of the Chinese being a world power as soon as they gain adequate scientific knowledge is ridiculous. As a matter of fact, China for more than seventy five years has had very able foreign military advisers, and dozens of elaborate munitions and arms plants have been build under foreign direction. Then as soon as the foreign director's contract has expired in each, and the plant is turned over to the Chinese graduates of American scientific schools, it goes to rust and ruin in short order, or if it remains open, operates very incompetently." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)

If you felt bad before using them, you will feel worst after 🤣. It's a boon for the hospital industry.

"Just as all creatures wage the battle of life with the best of weapons given to them by nature, the Chinese wage theirs with their foremost weapon - acting. They have no talent for warfare. They are not inventive. They cannot compete in industrial organization. They are at heart seemingly immune to the loyalties by which national unity might be achieved to them greater strength. Thus about all that is left to them protectively is their remarkable ability to detect the emotional susceptibilities of opponents, and to attack these with the display best calculated to achieve the desired results. The display may be designed to induce sympathy, to mollify anger, to inspire generosity, or to flatter conceit. But the Chinese are adept at deciding what method is best, and before this talent many a sturdy diplomat has given way against the accusations of his rational self in the manner that Samson melted in the arms of the cooing Delilah." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)

@Jonathan.D Yeah. Japan of today is not the same Japan as before and yet these nationalists can't tell the difference. If anything they're acting more like people did in the past with their extreme nationalism and xenophobia - they don't even realize how backwards they are.
3
Yes, with sub par, toxic items. That's how...

"Theology and ethics are in practically no sense related in Chinese conceptions. In certain respects that is perhaps in their favor, for their deplorable ethics get them into trouble enough, and if they wrangled over notions of theology in addition, the chaos would be beyond imagination. And at least the separation of religion and ethics, as a spectacle, is in favorable contrast to the situation in parts of the world where constant inbreeding of the two has produced monstrosities of both. " - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China) "A little examination of Chinese ideas of religion reveals much that is significant. To begin, their sages have reverenced Confucius conspicuously, but not in the sense of religious adoration. The feeling was philosophic accolade and an avowed obligation of emulation. The common people know vaguely of Confucianism and Buddhism and Taoism, terms which among them are mere misnomer identifications of misty superstitions and proprietary rites, having little or no connection with tenets of organized religious cults." - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" By Ralph Townsend Newsflash! China has always lacked morals even before the CCP came into power. Most of the people never engaged in organized religion or even the principles of a religious practice and just go about their own way much to the detriment of everyone else.

@CommenterIndeed Lol. Most of my employers never even bothered to ask me about my education. Unless, if what you are learning is technical they don't care. You're just seen as cheap labor. They don't care what you know. There's on the job training and they tell you what to do and what their expectations are - this has nothing to do with anything you learned in school.
3
Glad you feel that way towards them. Can't say they feel the same way towards you.
3
You would think, that they would be less surprised by now. But they're still finding new ways to be shocked. Also goes to show how sheltered they can be.
3
If you have to say the steak is "real", it probably isn't. The lies never end...
3
So much for all that "brothers in arms" nonsense...
3
Then they should boycott their goverment because a lot of CCP members hold overseas citizenship.
3
@DukeLM there's a difference between "loving" something and having no choice. Americans buy from Walmart because they are dictated by their finances so it's the latter.
3
@Phi.D.888 You should try the roast dragon. Tastes like chicken.
3
It's because the people are their last chance at getting any money. The working grunts always pay either with their time or money.
3
Degrees have become a pointless money grab. It also doesn't help that the previous generation keeps pushing this outdated view that you need a degree for potential employers to even give you a chance - Based on my experience this has never ever been the case. Not once have I ever been asked about my education. Getting an education is just pure cope at this point. It's something people get to make themselves "feel better" that they're doing something that will help them when in actuality it holds little to no value in today's world. Most jobs out there don't require a degree since there's on the job training anyways, rendering degrees overhyped and ultimately pointless unless your field of study is highly technical.
3
The amount of quality and detail that goes into creating chips does not match China's current capability and attention to detail. On the contrary, China produces low quality items with little to no foresight. They will always rely on others to produce quality chips.
3
The things they have to do to survive...And this is why they will never be known other than the land of fakes and facades.
3
Preselling condos is actually something that's done in countries all over the world. The difference is the developers are held into account in countries outside of China. In China, it's just another opportunity to steal.
3
Korean cars have come a long way. They have vastly improved. And unlike China, they're privately owned so the incentive was there. China doesn't care, it's all about quotas run by state owned enterprises. It's production for the sake of production - waste of time, waste of money. But then again the CCP have no qualms wasting their own people's resources.
3
I do this as well. I now always check where items are made. Glad to see that more and more products are being made elsewhere.
3
As someone who got a useless degree I make it a point to inform students a degree isn't worth squat. Sad part is they know but brainwashing from society won't let them think in any other way.
3
@Placefriday 🤣🤣🤣🤣
3
This is what happens when their internet doesn't allow them to access the outside world.
3
I would have seriously just walked away. What is it to that woman what car he drives? She needs to get a life and he needs to grow a spine.
3
Men understand that concept moreso than women
3
@mickgatz214 Tesla and BYD aren't the same. Why even compare the two?
3
@ladislavzima8382 that's why you keep their crap out of your local market if you know what's good for your economy.
3
@boundless1494 Their own government officials don't trust their own numbers and have resorted to other metrics to "measure" GDP.
3
@manwithballsonarm6775 We're talking about this guy. He looks like he's in way over his head. Also, war is something that traumatizes people. A lot of people who come back from war aren't the same after having come back. This was already shown after the World Wars, the Vietnam War, Korean war etc. A lot of normal people can't handle war.
3
@Rotary650 yes, 20 to 70 years to be exact
3
@JohnSmith-op7ls Western companies do this? I've never witnessed this kind of behavior. Can you give an example? Western companies have to gain the trust of its customers. Doing what you are saying is a sure fire way to loose market share especially in today's competitive market. You know who has the luxury to do that? Companies that have no competition. And even then, a lot of these companies in the developed world have share holders.

Read "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China). China under the KMT was no different than it is under the CCP. It was just as chaotic and lawless as it is now. China has always been under the thumb of authoritarianism. The people made no distinction between the police, military, and local thugs even back then. Abuse and oppression were always common place in China. At some point you just have to accept the fact that their problems are purely cultural.

It's pure propaganda. They don't even define what "far ahead" means because they aren't.
3
Chinese aesthetic in what?
3
They will never admit to anything no matter how ridiculous they look or sound.
3
To be subservient. There is no purpose. There isn't even any purpose for most college degrees. Not once have I ever been questioned by my employer about my education. Everything is pure garbage. There's on the job training. Once you get experience in management, you can leave and find opportunities elsewhere.
3
Can't buy furniture to furnish homes that were never built.
3
@rando6836 it's kind of bizarre. I would just go to the gym
3
It's because Chinese never had any real sense of security. That's what happens when you live in a country that has been poor for the longest time.
3
They're too apathetic to do so.
3
"Chinese" and "reliability" don't belong in the same sentence.
3
That's weird
3
@recondax CCP thought process: There is no thought process other than to get what they want regardless of the consequences.
