  9. As a chef and plant freak, I got tired of buying herbs for one use, then have the majority rot in my fridge. So now I clean and chop the whole bundle fine. Then tightly packed ice cube trays and add enough water to cover each cube. Then put the frozen cubes into clearly marked bags. This is the important part because you will never know if the cube is basil or parsley. Then if I want to put dill into potato salad, I have it at the ready. Of coarse I grow them too but usually don't have enough and the cubes are already chopped. Important to double or triple wrap the cubes, I save the triscuit bags because that plastic is very heavy. These taste completly fresh, and never have freezer burn taste. Not worth doing with rosemary or oregano, the dried versions are just as good with these two. This saves time and money.
