At the time, we were just dissecting ads, for the language style, claims, supporting facts. There are only like 7 techniques to produce propaganda, I don't remember them all now. One is "jump on the bandwagon, everybody is doing it." Do you know the rest? This was the thesis of that text and I have used it ever since, and it does apply to anything you read or hear; WHO is telling me this? WHY are they telling me this? WHAT could they want from me? It really IS THAT SIMPLE.

  33. Rosanne OWNS her show and brand, not the other way around. Hollywood doesn't own her. She is dependent ONLY on the high upstart cost of getting her show started. I do NOT understand why no one will back her, she is a winning horse. Why doesn't she just hire a writer or two, a few out of work actors, and do a low production cost show, and find some way to air it? Maybe just a "pay per view" situation? Simply circumvent the Hollywood machine completely. This would be groundbreaking, but her show was extremely ground breaking back in the days she started it.
