I know Nvidia has gotten a lot of press in the last few months after it crossed 2T... But most people still don't understand it well enough to get how influential it will be. It's like trying to explain to somebody that the iPhone and the concept of a smart phone are going to dominate the future, circa 2010. It's out there, but people don't understand the change to come. This is a once is a decade/ generation technology investment.

I always love your beginning summaries. YOU do respect our time and viewership. Thank you for being YOU!

Is it just me or is anybody else mind boggled by the fact that 1.4 exaflops is in a single rack cabinet?!? One of the biggest supercomputers is literally 1.2 exaflops. Now they probably achieved this metric by scaling down neural networks to 4 bit floating point, but that just shows how they optimize software to reduce compute time and power to make better neural networks. 25x less power for way more compute... Juggernaut.

A GPU?? They had Blackwell and the 0.72 xeoflop DGX stack, massive power reductions, robotics chips and training, and Omniverse updates with VisionPro compatibility. This is a massive GTC for anyone that understands that data centers are the biggest part of their business.

Nvidia > Tesla Literally zero doubt.
8
Yea, think GM should die off for that stunt. Now they want to go EV because is cool now, what a bunch of corporate @$$holes.
7
Great video as usual. Volatility is one type of risk but it doesn't encompass all risk and that should be noted when talking about risk adjusted returns which merely factors in beta. With longer term time horizons near term volatility becomes less of a factor and opportunity cost of capital increases in risk.
6
Well they did just acquire Xlinx, who's FPGAs can be incorporated into AMD's data center chips to accelerate their performance and decrease energy cost. I'm an AMD shareholder because of the pace of innovation under Dr Lisa Su.
6
They literally had the EV1 which was loved, but GM just had to kill it off by literally seizing it from the people leasing them.

@LuccianoNova You're welcome, but don't just take my word. Look at their income statement/ balance sheet/ cash flow statement. Look at their growth and TAM opportunities. As much as I think it's a great investment, ALWAYS do your own research. That's how you gain conviction and don't sell when some downward volatility hits... Which leads to missing out on upward volatility. (Like NVDA going from 330 down to 112 and rocketing to 975) Understand what you're buying ✌️🤟

@JoeyBeez I see China as the biggest risk in the chip space, which is why the CHIPS act is important (but too little too late). We need Fabs in Mexico, like was reported yesterday, to increase the stability with the competitive low price of the US chip market. Heck, if we just allowed legal immigration then maybe we could make them in the US.
5
What does having a structural battery pack mean for replacements and the subsequent environmental impact?
4
@LuccianoNova Invest... I was questioning it at 800 3 years ago and I bought after it split 4-1... Share adjusted that's 3600. Nvidia now is 2010 Apple.

For a growth company like Tesla, I assume Alex might say something like a "value stock" in a loose interpretation would liken to something of their current technology "balance sheet". What I mean by that, is that while traditional value stocks are judged as a function of profitability and book value many of these companies have assets that aren't traditionally labeled on the books. Take TSLA's AI software lead, that is not a growth projection, that is tangible data that they have more of than other companies- and that data is being mispriced by the market. Or the fact that on a GAAP balance sheet doesn't properly show the value of BTC. In short, a value perspective for these innovative companies is not based on future growth, but what assets do they have now that aren't incorporated into traditional balance sheet metrics and give them competitive advantages that aren't already priced into the stock. This is difficult because generally accepted accounting principles give us a standard for comparison, just like these companies you have to be creative and intelligent when assessing the value of this "technological goodwill". But, that's just my best guess of what Alex might say, let me know if you disagree with anything I said.

I remember when somebody told me not to invest in a company that had no earnings.... It was called Amazon. Companies at different stages of growth need different valuation metrics.
4
I'm not a fan of Palantir from an ethical perspective... But to say they're a meme stock is pretty ridiculous. You know they have many government (federal, state, local, and military) contracts... I don't really think the government backing a company is a "meme". You probably think ARKG is a collection of stay-at-home stocks.

Charlotte LOST all my money!!!!! Don't get scammed folks.

@TheJmac82 I told him to do their own research... that's not irresponsible. Nvidia has done a great job at pivoting when they need to and making the most of it, that's literally the history of Nvidia.
3
@grokker99 Accelerated data center computing has been around for awhile. What I was saying is that there's proof that people really want this product, just like the iPhone in 2010, 3 years after it was released. That's the cool part though, it's proven to be a big thing. Certainty is important.
3
They support Jenn O'Side. I know that they will grow multiple times larger, but I will never own one of their individual shares.
3
You and your team rock!
3
@dfv671 Up 450 percent, over 50 percent weighting

@AC-ge2tr NVDA's AI and Omniverse software is just insane and it will unlock a lot of value for society and shareholders.

I'm just wondering was this comment made for this video or did yt mess something up?
2
@budweizer100 Yeah, it's happened to me a few times, so I was curious if it was happening to others and if so wanted to let you know. What game tho?
2
Something something fundamentals....
2
@52msdiane I hope it helps you. Thanks for throwing your question out. I like responding with in-depth answers because it helps me formalize my own thinking, because I'm just some random 25-year-old who spends too much time on the internet looking at stock stuff :P
2
I was going to buy some more shares yesterday, I didn't and they popped up 17%, lol oh well
2
Thanks for the mental reminders and resources tips, Alex!
2
Ahh, Peter Thiel a "libertarian" that starts business CIA money that increases the invasion of the military industrial complex.... Gotta love these "small" government types.
2
Also dollar cost averaging isn't always the best strategy, lump sum investing is better with a longer time horizon.
2
He owns a bunch of ARK funds, this is his portfolio that he looks to beat ARKK
2
@TickerSymbolYOU Have you thought about doing a video on ARM lately? I would love to hear your thoughts, good and bad, on it. Also have you checked the AI semi software firms Synopsys and Cadence? Again, thanks for your hard work!
2
Hurricanes can do that...
2
I'm glad you're doing more videos on Nvidia, it's an insanely cool company.
2
YOU are a big value add!
2
Palantir will be a profitable company, but I see it as ESG negative
2
@jackalopefpv1708 So you think helping the military industrial complex is ESG? Can You explain to me why?
2
What if they both win?
2
Yes, that would be a great video
2
You do realize that the channel is mainly geared as content focusing specifically on ARK, but has expanded to more largely about "disruptive innovation". Alex holds a lot of ARK because he believes in the underlying research they do, he also has $100,000 portfolio that is meant to compete with ARKK on a 5-year horizon- so if you want to see his originality, check out those videos.
2
First!
2
@kbssbk6656 It's called position sizing, dingus. Doesn't mean all or nothing, and it doesn't mean you don't vet the company and it's product line 🤦 You don't even know what my portfolio looks like.... I haven't gone out of the green this whole bear market.
2
@gummixx6885 How? Growth has slowed so much.

@matt.stevick Lmfao

Hell yeah it's a great merger! I made 20% off of arbitrage XLNX for some more AMD shares :P Xilinx's FPGAs will help grow AMD's TAM in data centers, 5G, automotive, and AI.
1
Yup. Total Fiat, nothing backs it. At least with government Fiat currencies the demand for paying taxes with the currency at least stimulates some underlying "value", i.e. Not going to jail for tax evasion. BTC will have a fixed supply (inelastic), and once it caps out all price movement will be based on demand.
1
Nah, screw GM
1
This is why I like ARK but this is also why people should be trepidatious.
