The US is looking to remove Florida from North America and return it to the Atlantic Ocean. We can bring the UK to the space formerly occupied by America's craziest state.
1
Who would have China's UN Security Council seat? The Soviet Union and intense economic competition from Japan was seen as the bigger priority for the US when it passed the Taiwan Relations Act.
1
@iamyerisico4773 They also have stomach worms, highly contagious and active TB infections, and other communicable diseases the Russian armed forces have decided to ignore.
1
We need to hire Professor Clarke for US Secretary of Defense.
1
@Dokus360 Did he do that to the British Armed Forces?
1
The US is the world's largest exporter of ammunition and arms, so it shouldn't be surprise that it profits from increases in military expenditures. Despite that, other NATO countries have access to the same market to sell their weapon systems as well. The US defense contractors and the American LNG industry are capitalizing on the miscalculations of the Kremlin.
1
@dannyday9805 Yes. Russia will run out of conscripts before we run out of bullets.
1
@7perry Eventually, the Russian people or a Ukrainian sniper with nothing to lose will bring peace back to East Ukraine and Crimea.
1
@abelermias445 Stick to your third-world country. If we need advice, we'd ask. Bye , bye. Go install running water in your home country, and then come back with an analysis on geopolitics.
1
@dannyday9805 The US is capitalist and I'm employed by the military-industrial complex. I'm not sure why you'd think I'd be opposed to doing what the US has done since WWI.
1
I know they're under a lot of pressure to keep the progress, but with all the weaponry and drones given to Ukraine, how are they not targeting the same infrastructure in Russia?
1
@eugenebell3166 It's their passive-aggressive response from the US announcing more militant bases in the South China Sea. The CCP is openly hostile with the US, but they aren't trying to intentionally start an unwinnable war with the US.
1
What on earth did he arrive in @ 1:13? It must be nice to be Forever Young and rich because Some Guys Have All the Luck.

@Culpepper Oak That's called whataboutism and changes the topic as a distraction. It's hard comparing them because the US and UK never denied their intentions of removing Saddam. They also don't have an official foreign policy of spreading misinformation and lies. We know more now, but Bush and Blair was representative of the Brits and Americans who elected them and support the war on terror. If the roles were reversed and Putin invaded Iraq, WMDs would have been found because he would have planted them. The US and UK are the reason the world knows Saddam Hussein didn't have WMDs because regardless of politics, they have professional militaries and haven't been actively engaged in wartime propaganda like everything that comes out of Russia now. That doesn't include the CIA and MI6. It just applies to the militaries and official foreign policy.

If the US were to lead a conspiracy or sanction an Asian nation, it would be India, not Pakistan. Rather than being nonaligned, the Indian population and media have become supportive of Putin and against Ukraine. Last year, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and the shortage of oxygen supplies in India, the US took the lead to deliver oxygen, medications, vaccines, and humanitarian aid. India has sided with Russia, and we haven't been betrayed like this since post-WWII China became communist and became partners with the Soviet Union and Stalin. I didn't realize cheap petroleum products could cause this type of reaction.

What is going in the UK? Will Boris stay on a Prime Minister?
1
If that's what it takes to bring about the end of the CCP, then they should expedite their own demise. They won't gain anything but a humiliating defeat against the democracies that will fight and cut Mainland China off from international trade. That might be the only way to humble their communist regime. There is one China, but the legitimate one is which ever that finally wins the civil war.
1
The US should have started arming Ukrainians a year ago.
1
Either Putin has made enemies with the British Government or Zelenkyy has won the hearts and minds of the British people. Excluding the United States, the amount of British economic aid, military intelligence, sanctions against Russia, and weapons systems delivered is probably more than all the remaining NATO countries combined. It wouldn't surprise me if history turned out differently and the US was isolationist, Britain would have met or exceeded the total contributions from the US to Kyiv.
1
We could be see another one of these later today.
1
@electroskates2434 She'll still be in the history books and resting in Windsor Castle when we're long forgotten. At least they didn't get rid of her.
1
He shouldn't have been so quick to rule out shooting it down sooner.
1
Really? It's amazing how he can say that with a straight face. Were they looking at intelligence reports from the 1940s.
1
I would say Germany is too rich, stable, powerful, and influential for that to ever happen again, but they've had that same status since the 19th century.
1
They had an obligation to provide security assistance to Ukraine. Since the UK isn't at war with any country, the arms and weapons systems going to Ukraine take precedent.
1
@HDsep1988 I know. I'm a taxpaying American also. I'm glad the US is on the right side of history. Once the war is over, there will be a new market of 45 million pro-American/British consumers buying from US companies to rebuild Ukraine.
1
The Russians should return to their pre-invasion positions and try again with a redo, so they can figure out what went wrong. The first attempt was a blunder and an international embarrassment. I know they're a proud people, but Putin is making them look incompetent.
1
@James-ys5zs I'm still feeding the trolls because I doubt any of these remarks are from people genuinely concerned about vaccine safety. It's not hard to find the safety data. They just refuse to open their eyes and see it.
1
What are "Chancellors" and "Lord Chancellors?" Did Kwasi Kwarteng have enough time to figure it the difference? Is there an analogous cabinet secretary in the US?
1
There's history of people being charged with treason and NOT getting executed. Before the implementation of international treaties and human-rights laws prohibiting state-sanctioned execution, the death penalty was the most severe punishment available to the government.
1
This has been a rough year in British politics, but Boris Johnson wasn't the PM then.
1
Once the artillery shelling and fighting subsides, and after the defeat of Russian troops, there will be close to 45 million Ukrainians at home and abroad demanding answers and justice for happened to them. Prior to February 2022 there was already countless problems in Russia, Ukraine, and around the globe, so why was it so urgent to launch a brutal war and invade on a nation that never attacked Russia or anyone else? It's a terrible tragedy and we'll probably never get a genuine answer from the Kremlin. Regardless, given the proximity to Russia, the post-war Eastern Ukraine will probably be as well fortified and defended as Israel.
