  1. Depends who's building it. 😂😂 We poured the foundation for Diablo Canyon backwards. They had to change a bunch of stuff around, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Politicians and Protestors make it expensive and slow. 😜 The Commies and Big Oil were behind it. My Dad went inside Three Mile Island not long after the accident. He lived into his '80s.   17. You're absolutely right about the blowback from taxpayers and other funding methods. The results of the last election are partly because of the broken trust between the public and the scientific community. A few white lies here and there have opened the way for politicians to exploit doubts of professional integrity in much critical research.

  25. As another commenter said, you can still drive electric near home, which is most of the time. You only need to burn fossil fuel on longer trips. The petroleum business will slowly wain, and we are running out of a finite resource anyway. By then, the grid could be working the way it's supposed to be.
