@thomasthereal4067 but China will still retain good ties with Russia since that is their only useful ally when the US tackles them. US is pushing for a conflict by stoking the flames in Taiwan. That allows legit sanctions and will seriously cut China's rise.

@stevea2909 why do you believe they needed chips from washing machines?
1
@stevea2909 definitely go on. You seem like a logical lad and have laid out what I too have seen on news. Now lets look at the other side. What type of chips are there in washing machines? How complex are they? Can they be sourced easily without opening washing machines? Are the chips one time use. Maybe a year ago I opened a defective washing machine and took some video of the board. If I get some time later I will put up a video on it for the sake of information. I think the media is lying bold faced on this issue. I have purchased chips and I can tell you what they are peddling is not making any sense to me.

Maybe some Germans need to sign up first.

Unless Russia is completely defeated (which is unlikely) they will not take kindly to stealing their money. They will likely retaliate.
1
A straight honest analysis. I like it.
1
That information in microchips make little sense to me. The chips in those devices are very basic. I could buy much more powerful stuff on ebay in significant quantities.

@chrisworthman3191 well that's interesting. I will check on it.

Everyone is hurting. Why not compare to the Eastern European countries, Western European countries and US. Lets see how each is hurting from the sanctions.
1
@ThePanMan11 why is the influence on Russia alone interesting? You watched this video.
1
@ThePanMan11 ok I see your point. The video looks reasonably researched but this channel is western biased so you should take this with a grain of salt. The point of comparing though is to see the effects of the sanctions on everyone. Assess whether the action was effective or based on emotion.
1
Amusing that you blame the gas problem on Russia and not EU sanctions.
1
We should really hope Putin stay alive. Without him who knows which way this will go. War may end or tactical nukes may come out. The second scenario isn't good for anyone.
1
@johnroach9026 Yeah some general probably but therein lies the problem. This is a case where I believe its better dealing with the devil you know. I am sure its Putin who instructed them to not destroy Kyiv in the initial attack. It would have been a lot easier for Russia to just use a barrage of missiles for one week on Kyiv and then go in.
1
Definitely seems that way looking on from the outside.

@daniel4647 anyone who cares to read the history will know but people are simple minded. I have had "educated" people talk about how great Steve Jobs is and they have no idea who is Wozniak. No idea about Lisa. No idea of the reality. All readily available if time is taken to google it.
1
It shows how stupid the people imposing the sanctions are. After a few attempts you would think they would have figured it out.
1
@MagyarBall1914 "Shame to Hungary!" Are you trying to bully people like Zelensky does? He is a complete idiot. The Ukrainian people hired a comedian and me made a joke of their country. Now that he is winding down his performances to all the parliaments that will listed to him there is no choice but to deal with reality and accept Ukraine has to be neutral. This was never debatable. He was just too stupid to realise it.
