I'm happy the US government is selling it's BTC. I want BTC in the hands of regular Americans. Not the government. And not the big wall street ETF owners, either. Don't know how to stop that. Anyway, I'm holding my BTC forever, and stacking sats when I can.

You will not see deflation. Consumer prices are NEVER going down. Work to raise your income. Buy Bitcoin and Gold. Income producing real estate.
1
Energy went down because they manipulate gasoline prices down just before US elections so that incumbents are more likely to win.
1
Makes sense to have a little BTC and ETH. We don't know what will happen! I bought BTC at $6K and ETH at $700 and now they are way up! :)
1
End the Fed! But instead, we are going in the opposite direction: Central Bank Digital Currency. Soon, we will have to ask permission to buy anything. Everything we buy will be known. If we exceed our allocation of gasoline for the month, we won't be able to buy any. Despite the 4th Amendment, there will be no privacy in purchases. We will miss physical Federal Reserve Notes when they are gone.

China will not be the rising power. Remember how the USSR collapsed in 1991? It did so because command economies suck compared to free market economies. China faces just such a fatal flaw. If they approach free markets, instead, then they might surpass us. But then, they will not want to attack a good trading partner. And the US will weaken further if we continue our trend towards socialism. This is our biggest threat, not the Chinese.

LAMB BLOOD Doesn't matter to me, as long as her analysis is good. Now, if I were dating her, it would be different. That said, my guess is that she has no interest in an old fat guy like me! :)

Great video! Thanks!

@dangeles95 That was the lead. Although I guess you could say I forgot the brass, the primer and the powder. :)

I would love to diversify in to farmland, but I am worried about ETF's. They are derivatives, and I worry that they have additional risk of collapse over just owning land and renting it out to a farmer. I wish there were a way that was as convenient as an ETF like LAND or FPI, but had less structural risk...
1
At one point, I had 5 BTC. But I sold them. Made a nice gain. But dang, I wish I had not sold! I only have .53 BTC now. :(

In addition to the great list of asset classes you mention at 20:00, would you include arable land? I heard that Bill Gates now owns 30% of all US farmland and in now the largest owner of US farmland. I'm worried about REITs and ETF's like tickers LAND and FPI. Is there some other way to invest in farmland without actually becoming a farmer? :)
1
@drumsnbass How does one begin to look in to this? Are there land brokers who sell land in Uruguay to Americans? How should I begin? Thanks! :)

Gresham's Law says that bad money drives out good. Bitcoin is good money. People are keeping it and not spending it because they think it is going to appreciate. But the dollar is rapidly declining in value. Spend it now while it is still worth something! So as long as this is the case, people will prefer not to spend BTC. They will tend to hold it instead if they have it.

Great interview! Thanks! :)

@StockSpotlightPicks369 Not really. Any bank will fund a good investment. The real trick is to choose the right investment. Rental real estate is one of the safer choices. Banks will fund those all day long. And even better than choosing a bank, is choosing NO bank. Bitcoin is an end-run around the banking cartel. And there are de-fi ways to get investment via crypto-currency that has no bank taking it's cut. So, no, it's not about choosing the right bank.
1
@StockSpotlightPicks369 Yes you should shop around for the lowest lending costs (including up-front points and fees) but also yes, Bitcoin should be on your list.

Coca Cola has internal employee training that says "be less white." Their CEO also thinks that requiring ID to vote is racist. Plus it is really bad for ya. Give ya diabetes. Great reasons to boycott Coke. But your energy metaphor is excellent! :)

Homeopathy is superstition. A scam. But there is still a lot of other good stuff in natural medicine. And, yes, the regular MD Doctors have been corrupted by their own AMA monopoly power, and by the bribes of big pharma.

The solution will not come from elected officials. They are the ones that caused the problems. We need to organize our own communities.
1
Good one. Reminds me of the USSR in the late '80's. We were all freaked out over the Red Menace. But they were socialist. All we had to do was wait for them to collapse from their own inefficiency and inflexibility. Same thing with the CCP today. All we have to do is let them collapse. But the real threat to the US comes from within. It comes from the efforts to move the US towards socialism. The threat comes from Democrats, Greens, Marxists, College professors, Government School teachers, and Neocons. All we need to do is stick with the principles of the US Founders. We need to preserve the US Constitution, and we are fine.

Thanks! Bix Weir says it is important to hold at least some of our BTC in hardware wallets and get them off exchanges like Coinbase. Might also protect them in case of a prolonged internet shutdown. Do you agree? Thanks! :)

And who will be hurt most in a revolution? The poor.
1
First very bad inflation. Worse than the 1980's. Poverty in the midst of a stock market melt-up. Increasing gap between rich and poor. Then a huge risk of dictatorship.

Thanks! :)

Thanks! Royalty companies have been great in the Gold and Silver space! Love RGLD, WPM and FNV. They have done way better than the underlying metals, and better than the miners.

Hey, Mark Moss, another YouTuber I like is AIMSTONE in the crypto area. Lots of great data. Maybe another idea for a collaboration?

@szee8588 Individual rights are above all other laws, international or national. Fundamental is that we each own our own lives, and bodies. Natural rights to life, liberty and property are logical results of that basic fact. Any nation or international super-government that violates the individual rights to life, liberty and property loses legitimacy. One-world government enforcing international law would be the worst form of dictatorship. There could be no escape from such a dystopia.
1
@szee8588 Our rights exist even if they are violated or undefended by government. Yes, we need to defend our rights. Good governments exist to defend our rights. Bad ones violate them. But no one can make them cease to exist.

I have some of both gold and BTC. Also silver. We don't know what is going to happen. Diversification is a good thing.

The fed has been propping up the stock market to fend off a collapse that would have hurt Harris' chances. So now that Harris has lost, when will the Fed pull the rug out from under the markets and let the much-needed and long over-due market correction happen?
