For one, High Latin is still used in Catholic services, though it isn't conversational Latin. "Vulgar" Latin is still in use today as Romance Languages such as Italian, Spanish, and French. And look up the process of Anglicizing word. Placing an "X" on the end to denote feminine is a textbook example of such white washing.

I can tell you this from firsthand experience, McDonalds owns their own supply chain specifically so they CAN cut costs to wholesale numbers and then some. Quality is only marginally better than the local Gordon Food Service store or Costco.

I said after the Bud Light fiasco that there are so many microbreweries that there is no need to every buy a franchise product, that that goes for food as well.

The ethnic Mexicans who fought alongside the Gringos during the Texas Revolution were true American Patriots. And as I said, it doesn't make you any less American being a Tejano.

The trick is to make sure she spent most of the summer indoors so that she would not tan and retain the white complexion that many East Asians have during the winter months. Hell, just opting to NOT use stage makeup could have maintained the image (typically those who don't use stage makeup look pale as a corpse, even those of darker complexion experience this under stage lights).

They are FORCED to only use corporate suppliers and distributors. They CANNOT change their menu without approval from home office (which rarely ever happens). And most of the profits go back to the corporate home office. So yeah, brand names are NOT local business genius.

American English may borrow heavily from the Latin languages, but it is still at its core a Germanic Language that follows Germanic linguistic rules. As for why Central and South America is called the "Latin world" goes back to the fact that Spanish is of Latin origin and historically peoples were grouped by Linguistics rather than genetics. That is why the Asiatic phenotype Central Asians are referred to as "Turks" rather than "Mongolic" despite having more genetically in common with East Asia than they do with the Arabic World.

  45. The biggest problem with Section 230's "objectionable content" is that it was a good-faith basis, which is NOT what is occurring. Good-faith says they only take down content that blatantly violates the law or solicits and encourages criminality. The "cannot judge moderators activities" guts the whole argument for why the law was even written and passed in the first place; to reconcile the two previous irreconcilable rulings on moderation of online content.
