You're confused. A few BACKUP tapes from the Apollo 11 moonwalk were accidentally recorded over. They were BACKUP's in case the live TV broadcast failed. Since the live TV broadcast didn't fail, and multiple copies of the broadcast were made, the BACKUP tapes were thrown into a box and forgotten. With those copies, you can watch all the footage, so not lost.

Something that is impossible on the moon with no atmosphere, and you never see any dust clouds in the moon videos. The dust falls straight back to the ground, just like it was on the moon. "The camera filming? The first person to land? The lightning? The astronauts’ equipment and suits? The lack of stars? The flag waving?" The same old, tired, easily debunked nonsense.
