  41. Can turbine driven ships even go in reverse? To my (admitedly limited) knowledge one of the downsides of early turbines was that they could only go forward.

  43.  @lawrencelewis8105  i have to admit i am a comlete layman with regards to naval engenering. But it sounds as if your ship was of a significantly more modern Design. The reason im so confused by the reverse gear, is that to my knowledge, the Kaiserliche Marine initialy rejected Turbines, partly because they lacked that reverse Option (and because price, made in Britain etc.)
