The citizens of New Orleans, Amsterdam, Venice and other coastal citys might find flooding in rivermouths unsurprising.

Astonishing how much Genetics and Linguistics can tell us about Prehistory after over 4000 Years 👍

I once worked on a modern construction site, where a stone veneer was put upon cheaper filler. The ancient Mayas clearly had advanced knowledge of basic economics. To sad their space lizzard friends didn't teach them how to build proper arks.😂
25
I just noticed that the US is biger then the UK, so it must be older. I never noticed how eroneus my views on the war of independence have been.😂
22
The first Pharao was the Scorpion King, also called the Rock. But he was overthrown by a runaway Borg Drone.

Actualy it's the other way around. The head is regular size, but the body got a bit out of shape, after the introduction of fast food. However, it would be very rude to tell that to the Sphinx. So 🤫
15
well restored😂
12
You can only fully apreciate Harappan seals if you read them in the klingon original 🖖
12
Because one would find, after puting in a lot of hard Work, that Athens did not exist at that time and that wont sell as many books, films etc. Ergo just make some stuff about ancient civilisations up and get the Netflix money😂
10
They used sand clear proof of Aliens how else could they have got sand in Egypt 😂
9
One could as well cite the Edfu temple, as evidence that Stargate is a documentary (they had time a travel Episode after all).
8
And at this time people in Attika where still stone age hunter gatherers, which makes the whole city state idea shall we say "difficult"
6
Technically writing this comment makes me an Author.

Hancock stating that Plato preserved the Atlantis Story, is a very suggestive choice of words. Plato made it up, might be more acurate.
5
Myths are best treated as Myths, rather then Factual.
4
@bremnersghost948 we know that Gobekli Tepe is in Anatolia, where agriculture developed much earlier then in Europe. Plus a settlement of Gobekli Tepes size would have been way to small to stand against a Empire the size Plato described for Atlantis.
4
"Metropolis was also mentioned by Fritz Lang, so it cant have been made up by Hollywood, ergo it must be true." Some future Alt Historian
4
Well at least Atlantis Propagandists are consistent(ly lying) since Plato made up the Story.
4
Given that the versions differ, that would only be a guess. No one could ever be sure that the original version (lost due to the damage) didnt differ from whatever version one would use to fill the gaps.
4
Well a flood of pseudoscience came over Tiwanaku, perhaps that's the mysterious Cataclism😂
4
A timeless Classic 😂

Modern stone masons do precision work by hand (using tools and technices Socrates might have felt familiar with). Reason being: stone is a natural material, therefore it has natural variations. And humans are much better at adapting to them, then machines. PS i wonder what erosion would make of "Laser precision".
3
I guess there was a bit of a competition which city had the nicest Nymphaeon
3
@vivashvanbhushan3422 good point
3
I wonder how the Maya and Inka are suposed to fit in the Arian (Über)ruler Theorie 🤔
3
@dr.banoub9233 dankeschön
3
It should be also emphacised that the mechanism does not show Uranus and Neptun. Would be a bit weird for any hypothetical ancient aliens 🖖
3
The cave is somewhere in the methaphorical Valley of the symbolic Mountains 😂
3
A game instead of a war is the sort of tradition that should see a Renaissance
3
The olden days when rulers had literal skeletons in the basement
3
Because neither mythril nor valyrian steel where invented in Platos das😂
3
Allways make a safety copy
3
Stonemasons can and do work with quite impressive acuracy using quite simple tools
3
@akterzaman3644 exactly that one😂
2
@brucetucker4847 very generous in deed
2
Diamonds are still cut by hand, to astonishing precission.
2
Even grave robbers aint perfect.
2
Miau
2
@dr.banoub9233 but german cats miau, surprisingly enough without interpunctation.
2
The "God" of the gaps sorry lost ancient civilisation of the gaps, will allways find a new gap to hide in, no matter how many gaps those pesky scientists fill.
2
This was after the introduction of firearms, however. Which levels the Battlefield.
2
Taking into acount that stars move in the milkiway, i dare say that it is indeed irelevant what animals are depicted. Albeit in the sense that the stars in constelations only apear to be close, and the entire field of astrology is made up.
2
Handbags are such an "advanced" technology, that they must be made by Aliens 👽😂 At least a change from the usual big stone Obsession.
2
Probably less then Animals died by Kings.
2
Future Archeologists will be confused by the modern Art and future Pseudoarcheologists will count it as evidence for the lost city of Atlanta
2
Carbon dating the mortar? Wow!
2
Well, Atlantis was destroyed by Nuclear War, as Plato clearly says, somewhere between the lines, somehow😂
2
@Deipnosophist_the_Gastronomer atomic comets?
2
A quite frequent problem. To my knowledge the Austro Hungarian Emperor even declared war on Serbia (in 1914) while claiming to be King of Serbia (in the same declaration).
2
Turkish Cuisine is worth of exploring
