Ancient Athenians allready considered the Myth bonkers during Platos Lifetime. It dates the Existence of the Athenian Polis back to even before Agriculture in Greece. Oh and Plato suggested the use of Lies for (suposedly benevolent) political Purposes. Therefore i conclude that Atlantis was made up.
