@rudolphbarton who's the victim? You?
1
If he had said "Yes, he existed." you would be here saying "Look! Even Dawkins admits it!" But because he disagrees with you he should keep his opinion to himself right? 😉
1
Joe asked him the question and he gave his answer. You mad bro?
1
Prove it.
1
@SmackDab Like what? Do you have specific WLC arguments you want me to address?
1
@jam4350 I'm sure you do 😉 Nice job avoiding my point.
1
@jam4350 Bahahahaha did a WLC fanboy just accuse someone else of "semantic games?" 😂😂😂 I guess you would know.
1
@jam4350 I'm just playing along with you at this point. It's obvious this isn't going to turn into a discussion in good faith anytime soon. 😉 As far as him being on the podcast, because I've heard enough out of WLC in the past 20 years to last me a lifetime. Why on earth would Joe even want to interview him? What has WLC actually contributed to the world aside from preaching to his choir?
1
@jam4350 as far as my point you declined to address, it was simply that WLC's armchair philosophy is useless in proving his god exists. You must have missed it.
1
@robbyjohnson8435 "Athiest philosophers?" Who are these people? The atheists I'm familiar with that have been on Joe's show have not been philosophers. Even though Joe may want to talk philosophy with them. As far as why he doesn't have more Christian Apologists on, I don't know. Maybe they bore him as much as they bore me. Maybe he should have more Christians, Jews, Muslims, Mormons, Hindus and Satanists on too. It's not fair to them that Joe isn't more open-minded right?
1
@robbyjohnson8435 it has nothing to do with being open-minded. Your religious beliefs are just silly to us. I am as impressed with Christianity as I am with Scientology.
1
@robbyjohnson8435 Why not just go listen to Christian Apologists if you want to stoke your confirmation biases? Why would Joe want to listen to an Apologist like WLC bloviate about their religious beliefs when it would bore 3/4 of his audience half to death?
1
@АЗ ЕСМЬ recent data Eh? Care to provide some references for the rest of us to back up your claim?
1
That's bullshit. There is no extra-biblical evidence to confirm the existence of the Yeshua in the gospels.
1
Obviously

How do these two guys not understand that a 10 count in Boxing is not the same as 10 seconds? Wilder needs to shut his mouth after losing a minimum 9 out of 12 rounds. Wilder wants to talk about the commentators being biased? How bout them Judges Beyonce? Any bias there? 😏
1
No, you missed the point. A person who is a theist can believe in Yahweh or Allah and still be an atheist in regards to Zeus or Vishnu.
1
@kheldaryt Let's try this again to see if I can clear up any misunderstandings. Theism = Belief in a god or gods. A(non)theism = Lack of Belief in a god or gods. We are really just arguing semantics and we may never agree but if I ask you : "Do you believe in Vishnu?" and your answer is : "No." then for all intents and purposes you are an atheist in regards to Vishnu. If I ask you : "Do you believe in Yahweh?" and your answer is : "Yes." then you are a theist in regards to Yahweh. So technically you can be a theist in regards to one god claim and an atheist in regards to another god claim. Does that make sense?
1
@kheldaryt Ok well that clears up where you are coming from I think. I obviously did forget Joe called it a "home run" argument and I can see why you would disagree, especially if you are coming from a theistic perspective. To an atheist like myself and presumably Dawkins it just seems like common sense so we are coming at this argument from a different angle.
1
@kheldaryt The problem with theism for us is that the existence of a god seems highly improbable for the simple reason that humans have created thousands upon thousands of gods over the millennia. Usually to pretend to have an explanation for a natural occurrence. Storms, earthquakes, famine etc and human suffering in general. So without any good evidence for the existence of any of those thousands of gods we don't see any good reason to believe in any of them.
1
@kheldaryt Thanks for being generous yourself. I'm normally met with a very different attitude. 😁
1
@kheldaryt I guess I need to rewatch the clip because from your responses it seems like my argument was not the one Joe and Richard made. But yeah, this is the most intellectually honest conversation I have been able to have so far on this video. Best of luck to you man.

How do you even know what words he said if he did exist? There are 4 different Yeshuas in the 4 gospels. They have different last words, they give their disciples different directions etc.
1
@mattjbg7025 That doesn't answer my question though. How do you know what he actually said when the accounts differ? Also, the gospels, as we have them at least, were not written by his disciples.
1
Can you prove it true to begin with? There's your problem.
1
@l91106 Yup. Religious folk may never realize they have wasted their lives thinking about abstract concepts like gods and heavens and hells.
1
That's exactly what the word means. 😂
1
That's cute. Atheism can't be a religion. It has no precepts or doctrine. It is just an answer to the question "Do you believe a god exists?" and the answer is no.
