Well, I understand the arguments. We'll have to wait and see...It could be that just a modicum of guaranteed income will be enough to elevate many enough above the muck and mire to be able to get a foothold in "normal" society. The mind-set changes when you're not always gasping for air, as it were.
1
"Gunsmoke!"...hehehe...
1
Pelosi: Deciding The Will Of The People. That's one demented ego!
1
I don't think Strzok thinks he made ANY mistakes!
1
Trump understands that this permanent clearance policy has littered the country with thousands of possible leakers. This is the true nature of the leaking sieve which is govt secrecy. Terminate the leaks by cutting off the leakers from their access to govt secrets.
1
"Lack of self-awareness"! It's epidemic!...always HAS been...hehehe
1
As a high-profile real estate developer, Trump is very familiar with the supreme legal position of a subpoena; if he's ignoring it, instead of legally resisting it, he's got an angle in mind...even if it's only to drive the dems nuts/make them look almost as stupid as they are.
1
Brreaking: Michael Moore is starving because nobody will invite him to dinner, anymore!
1
Nikki: "Can't prove it, but everybody knows Russia lies all the time"? Can anybody name the logical fallacy she commits?
1
@yoursodumn <--Yeah...I was thinking, "appeal to authority", but, "appeal to the masses" sure covers it! "Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia."...everybody knows that...
1
Hirono's so stupid, she thinks she's smart! Dunning-Kruger, illustrated...
1
If Americans vote, these governors will not be reelected; if unAmericans vote, they may be reelected.
1
Would Kavanaugh have to demonstrate that he's been damaged?
1
Seems it's Schumer and Pelosi are ones throwing a tantrum. They think they get to set the country's course, when it's the president who has that prerogative. Their passion has rendered them stupid.
1
People uniting across traditional political lines...isn't that, "Populism"?! California is undertaking, quite involuntarily, a vomitous purge of leftism. It's a beautiful thing...
1
Pelosi says, "I don't care that much for statues." Well, I don't care much about WHAT you care about! Your JOB is to care about what OTHER people care about! I mean, how is that not a big "F U" to everybody who DOES care about statues?!
1
Greg's right! Why would anyone in Minnesota pay incomes taxes?! Who's comin' after 'em?! Is the mayor gonna come to your door and take you into custody?! hahahaha..."Houston, we have a problem..."...The logical solution: a special tax police force. What about the people who won't register their vehicles?! Another special police force?! The solution set is an empty set...
1
If you've only got a few employees working in China, then, WHY bother having ANY employees working in China?! Liar...
1
So, Iowa can shuck corn but can't COUNT! And you didn't already know that! hahaha
1
We didn't "safely" shut the economy down; why do we have to open it up "safely"?! Most people are incapable of thinking originally. Deal with it...
1
Cavuto uses some pretty harsh language to berate the President for, essentially, nothing. It's industry practice: give a gold-digger a little gold and she may well go away. It's the cost of doing business as a celebrity. It's a total non-issue--except somebody said it was an issue. Pretty soon, more people said it's an issue, so it seems it must be, but it's still a non-issue.
1
Mark Green's got it right! Legislators can't help but be frustrated executives--it's a naked power play. And every american has had enough of the stench of it wafting up their noses!
1
What should be the penalty for violating, "Gutfeld's Law"?! Everybody wants to "lay down the law"...internally, everybody is a fascist, eh?!
1
Susan Rice, VP?! Wow, the deep state wants to TRIPLE down! hehehe
1
"Did he (Trump) apply pressure (to a grieving family member)?". What a brilliantly brain-dead question! Do newsreaders think such questions have any chance of producing anything newsworthy?!
1
I guess we'll soon see whether the Senate is any more DELIBERATIVE than the House. I tend to think senators are cut from the same moth-eaten fabric as the representatives...
1
Stress-free existence is a great idea--if you want to be a BLOB! hahaha
1
Orange virus bad.
1
So, Juan doesn't prepare by reading the "research packet"? Hmm...curious revelation...
1
I imagine we've come too far to allow communism to run the country. One way, or another, it won't happen in the USA...at least, not for long...
1
Little orphan annie there is just wrong: as Milton Friedman demonstrated, capitalism is what people do when they have been decimated by some catastrophic disaster that destroys their infrastructure. It is the natural mode of human economic interaction. Fact checking is not the way to assess someone's intelligence; you have look at style. Intelligent people have a certain mannerism that low-intelligence people simply cannot exhibit: a vigorous self-possession, which appears as a calm composure. This vigorous self-possession allows the person at any time to interpose his intentionality, even where, perhaps, his feelings would prefer to run away with him. Idealism not tempered by reality is just trouble.
1
How completely mesmerizing! What WAS that?! The first half of the interview is spent trying to get an answer to the question, "What IS it?"!!! Argh. I must have been hypnotized by the guy's red rimmed glasses. I admit to having been entertained by my own perplexity. It's why we go to the circus. Hey, thanks, Tucker!
1
Trey pretty much just said he like to observe the interaction between senators and a bunch of smart people. Interesting juxtaposition...
1
Pelosi says lying to congress is a crime. Is Christine Ford in jail yet?! Huh-huh, that's what I thought. Pelosi alludes often to a lie she never elucidates. That used to be called a "bogey man". Do they really expect Barr to violate the law at their request?! THAT'S crazy.
1
Trump is correct, again! Dems' deliberate subversion of government processes and procedures is UNPATRIOTIC! Straight talk...gotta love this guy! And the reason the dems hate him...
1
The American affection for "fair play" has a corollary in our disaffection for the "poor loser". Clinton plays the part of the sore loser very convincingly...
1
Can't Trump simply reject Mueller's findings?
1
Nikki and John Bolton, cut from the same insane cloth!
1
"Historic victory in the house"? BS blonde.
1
Perhaps, politics is the one area where "it's exactly what it looks like"! Trump has been correct in his situation appraisals over and over again, while having his apperceptions likened to "conspiracy theories"! And everybody else thinks to themselves, "That's what I thought!"--because there are a lot of Americans who share Trump's penchant for common sense. People have to get over their desire to be fooled into believing everything's alright...
1
Leaks are bad because they are context-free; that is, they lack the necessary context for proper understanding. So, the result of a leak can only be a confusing distortion, as the context for its understanding is still classified/not leaked. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing..."
1
I can see Beto playing Bolton in the movie! hahaha
1
Hmm..."Greg", just one letter away from "Grog"...yep...
1
And capitalism WITH rules is fascism. So......if I didn't already know what Warren was talking about, I wouldn't find out by listening to her!
1
@joelsattler8420 <--Haven't we all? Are you misinforming me by telling me I've been misinformed? Are you the misinformer? You must realize that bald assertions carry very little weight. Your essential refusal to explain your meaning brands you a troll wannabe. If you disagree with my characterization of fascism why not just say so, instead of playing the know-it-all? From your comment it would appear you know nothing that you haven't been told. Low IQ much?
1
Juan, Juan, Juan...article 2 sets the term LENGTH, not the number of terms. It's tiring listening to Juan...it takes a bit of doing to figure out what he's saying, and then to check its veracity...
1
Two-faced liars! Oh, well, that's what we've come to expect from that great bastion of fakery, Hollywood. It's not logical to assert you are "against discrimination" while insisting a category of persons should be discriminated against! Duh.
1
Life is stressful to the degree you are incompetent. Millennials have achieved, by their immersion in secondary experience, an other-worldly purity of incompetence, of which they are unknowingly proud. Growing up unstressed, they grew up weak--that's just how it goes. No?
1
"Malign Influence Operations" sounds like "you want to influence us for your benefit, and that automatically means for our detriment". After many years of difficult transition from despotic tyranny, Russia is solidly on a western/democratic path and prospering, after a fashion, as a result. Trying to live down their past on the world stage without giving themselves away is tricky, tricky, tricky. Trump is the kind of person who is naturally sympathetic to their plight because he sees everywhere around him HUMAN BEINGS. And people help people in need of help...that's what people DO when they don't hate/fear. It's just so odd that it's the left that's smelling blood in the water, forming for a feeding frenzy.
1
When you talk harshly, intimidatingly you ARE harming the person by making them suffer fear for their life. This is much more traumatic than a little kid leaving his mother's arms for a couple hours. So, she lies yet again--the mark of a fine politician.
