It is the natural mode of human economic interaction. Fact checking is not the way to assess someone's intelligence; you have look at style. Intelligent people have a certain mannerism that low-intelligence people simply cannot exhibit: a vigorous self-possession, which appears as a calm composure. This vigorous self-possession allows the person at any time to interpose his intentionality, even where, perhaps, his feelings would prefer to run away with him. Idealism not tempered by reality is just trouble.

After many years of difficult transition from despotic tyranny, Russia is solidly on a western/democratic path and prospering, after a fashion, as a result.
