  2. As a former USAF veteran here from the late 90's we knew Russia was a 3rd rate regional power. Even when I saw the maps of how the Russians were invading Ukraine I laughed out loud. Don't confuse 70 years of American know how in logistics with any other country. Americans are the only ones that can move military manpower and material anywhere on the globe and maintain it.

People believing that the small Russian army made up of primarily conscripts was going to take Ukraine's capital city in three days need to put that crack pipe down.

What is going to happen here is Russia will retreat to the East and NATO will continue to bleed Russia out strangling it's economy and demoralizing it's military. Ukraine will then later become part of NATO and we will continue adding NATO countries surrounding Russia in a new containment strategy. This will also serve as an example to China which is next on the chopping block. Western nations tried to reason with dictatorships post Cold War, they are tired of the BS at this point.

Have any of you met anyone from the Chinese mainland? You rarely meet anyone from China that isn't under 40 years old. They are old and depopulating and desperately trying to secure real estate in North America because they know the Chinese economic situation is poor.

  10. If you look at the procurement data the Super Hornet is $95mil gross cost while the F-35A was $140mil in 2015 and has now fallen to $85mil. The F-35A is the best bang for buck as it is the F-16s successor as NATOs newest and best all around workhorse. The USN and USAF put out detailed budget overviews.

  41.  @anggisuwandi2404  Well I was in the USAF for 10 years and I had to work with the army. Their equipment is easy to use because many of them are lower ASVAB scores which is the military's intelligence test. The USAF has the highest standards and it shows when it comes to behavior and performance. Most of the military equipment is easy to use but takes more skill to inspect and repair. As for the Ukranians I'm sure there are some operating it on their own but I highly doubt Americans are not present. In fact the reality is some of these weapon systems are probably being supervised by American military personnel in what used to be called "advisors" which the United States has decades of experience doing with active duty, Army/Air Guard, Reserves, and private contractors. After the war is over eventually the documents from FOIA requests will come to light and I bet the Army and Air Force were heavily involved in operations behind the scenes more so then what the media knows. In fact the Green Berets specialize in training indigenous forces and would be perfect for this proxy war and I'm sure they are in the country.
