  1.  @arunagrawal4574  So you're saying decreasing the population size by absolute arbitrary numbers instead of just decreasing the rate of growth (which indeed takes quite some time)is equally important...? I get that argument...but I'm worried we'll end up with a demographic crisis like China. Our national GDP has made it to the top 10 GDP countries mostly due to the sheer number of us existing here. We're not sufficiently technologically advanced like Japan to combat a demographic crisis with robots or something....so I have mixed views on that approach.

I basically meant to ask if you're suggesting that we should abruptly and rapidly decrease the growth rate(which is what this bill, if implemented, would do) instead of letting it peak naturally and later decline (as expected from the data). This would inevitably result in a demographic crisis (in the coming 7-8 years) like the one China is having. A demographic crisis in UP is the last thing you would want in this world as you can't convince people to migrate to UP for anything.

Why? You mention that engineering entrance exams saved you cuz your board marks were quite bad....so do you agree that the same system should be applied to medical admissions too? Huh? Today, qualifying neet is the ONLY WAY TO GET MEDICAL ADMISSIONS in India! See, there's the problem. All medical colleges in India are obliged to give you a medical seat based on your neet score. Logical fallacy busted!

So...how can a bunch of people who were converts be opposed to conversion? Those early mallu Christians should've definitely been opposed to the European brand of conversion, not the very concept of conversion.
