@jacquelinel1618 He doesn't have the right to keep govt documents. If he would have returned them, this wouldn't be happening. Why do you think Trump worked so hard to keep the documents hidden? You must have a theory. If there was a chance that Trump was entitled to them, then, he could have filed a motion stating this. He didn't. Trump and his attorneys are telling you one thing on TV, but are doing and saying something completely different in court.
1
@passerau They made an exception for Watergate. 8 suspect they'll make an exception for Trump, too.
1
@grandmastershek NY state doesn't allow cameras in criminal trials. HOWEVER, the US govt made an exception for the Watergate trials. I anticipate they'll do the same for Trump's.
1
@COO113 I want Trump to run. Trump being on the ballot gives Biden the best chance of winning!
1
RickFlanagan 5 years? Where on earth did you find that "law"?
1
Trump sent national guard troops to the border but they didn't do anything either. Was that a dereliction of duty, too? Congress has to act. The president doesn't make immigration policy.
1
We have needed immigration reform for 20 years! It didn't work with Trump and it's not working with Biden. Under current policies, asylum applications have to be ruled upon and there has been a rolling 3 year backlog for over a decade. Only 30% of those applicants receive asylum after 3 years. Meanwhile, the US has to pay to house, feed, clothe and provide medical care to them.

What does Trump mean by, "I THINK it's a hoax. I really think it was a hoax ". THAT right there tells us he was told about it, but chose to ignore even those that were saying it was credible information. So, basically, if Trump doesn't want to have to do anything, ie his actual job, he just needs to find one guy in the room who says, "I'm not sure." Then, BAM! He has a reason for ignoring it.
1
Because they did NOT get in the boarding line and board within the time frame.
1
@oneaboveall948 BUT they did NOT board on time.
1
@promethiac2641 100%. I've been waiting for Republicans to introduce an immigration reform bill for over 3 decades. I think they'd rather immigration reform as a campaign promise and talking point to help them get re-elected because they sure as hell haven't attempted to do anything about it. They slashed the Border Patrol budget and reduced the number of agents on the southern border by 3,300.
1
Then, you understand what TS-SCI documents can be, right?
1
Sure... Because his Abraham Accords worked so well as did moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
1
I was AMAZED at the sheer volume of people ignoring the actual news in this segment. Binstead, these Snowflakes can't take it when someone has a different opinion than they have or isn't following the usual Faux Noise narrative. I can only believe that most of Faux's personalities don't actually believe what they're dishing out to the sheep.
1
@FRAME5RS Well, the way things are going, that won't equate to much in the near future.
1
What cover-up?
1
@huh4324 Research what exactly?
1
@caseyluksch5114 That's what Russia said. Russia blamed Urkraine for it. Is that a coincidence?
1
@nickd5158 I'm sure the NRA needed that massive yacht w/ a full-time executive chef and six fully appointed staterooms. I'm sure regular old NRA members are enjoying it as we speak.
1
I find it unusual that CNN has gone back and publically corrected, even retracted, any story that wasn't corroborated. Imagine if Fox did this. There wouldn't be enough hours in a month to cover it all.
1
Ahh, too bad our laws prohibit a convicted felon from running.
1
But, most current conservatives DONT put God or country first. They worship one MAN.
1
Wrong. PROFESSIONAL APPRAISERS DID provide the trump organization with accurate, legal appraisals that Trump should have used. He purposely didn't. As for oversight --> It's here
1
@helenshg4580 He stated it was from the 1640s. That is long before we became a nation. So, this rule of law that he is referring to must have been from the UK under the rule of a monarch at the time. When we left the UK, we left behind their protocols, procedures and legal system and was the reason our forefathers had great insight into establishing the rules of law in our Constitution. The rules governing Presidential impeachment hearings in the US actually state that the investigation process may only have members of the committee(s) and select individuals of their staff in attendance during the deposition phase. For the committees to actually allow all members of the House to attend would be a violation.
1
What? How's that?
1
As someone who's likely going to vote for Biden, I agree with you.

The cutoff was October 6

Well, it's 3 yrs later and now we know: *One year agoTrump offered Assange a FULL Presidential Pardon if he would take the stand and LIE about Russia's election involvement. To get the Pardon, Assange had to lie under oath and say that Russia's election involvement was to help Clinton even though Assange knew and had even stated that Russia's some purpose was to help Trump get elected. Are you still supporting Assange now, 2 yrs after he declined Trump's bribe and won't fall in line with the rest of Trump's lying minions? So, by "Right Decision" you must mean "sweep it under the rug" because the "Right Decision" would actually expose Trump. I'm going to guess that you've changed your mind about Assange's credibility now that his testimony wouldn't line up with Trump's narrative. I'm can only assume that you've quit 5be Kool-Aid OR you've suddenly changed your mind and decided Assange was actually lying. Of course, you did. .. same old Trump tactic
1
@truepatriots3860 in what way?
1
Always taking the back door
1
@claribethdavis9614 Trump is pushing the vax-- Is that why he specifically ordered that no press and no cameras be there when he had it? Why he specifically said no press release stating he and Melania had gotten the vaccine in January? Is that why he's not calling in to Fox while Tucker is saying you don't need the vaccine? You mean all of those times?
1
@joncarbone That's the same reason so many lifelong Republicans chose not to vote for him: b/c of whom he is.
1
It's standard procedure to NOT release affidavits UNTIL an investigation is concluded OR there is an indictment that is due in part to evidence seized by the warrant. I can understand if the papers were somehow packed up accidentally, and I can even understand Trump wanting to keep "love letters" from Kim Jong. But, once Trump and his attorneys were made aware the boxes contained documents that had to be returned, why didn't his attorneys just return them? Seriously asking. The FBI was there in June and Trump wouldn't allow the agents to take them even though they had a subpoena. It seems this whole thing could have been avoided by just sending it giving them back. Has there been any coverage about this b/c I can't find any?
1
I'm sure if Obama wanted to warm Biden, he'd pick up the phone.
1
NO. The moderator did NOT allow her more time, but Pence continuously went over his time and by a good bit
1
@treat-ct7wl The questions likely sounded that they were geared towards Trump because he IS the current president and we want to know how Biden/Harris and Trump/Pence are going to handle things going forward. Debate questions when there is an incumbent running are always geared towards what is currently happening. What type of question would you suggest as a fair, nonpartisan question?
1
@@ADD8 I do not.
1
THATS your take-away? You saying that there is a leaker is also saying there was something to actually leak. Given that, the leak is your most important thing to address -- while COMPLETELY ignoring that Trump did nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, to stop our soldiers from being murdered. WHY do you think he chose to do nada to stop it?? Or can you not think that far into it?
1
@user-FBA-1 You're right. I'm sure they'll give him a modified home confinement.
1
@nonameissafer.8457 It's difficult for native Chinese, Russian and Iranian speakers to become fully fluent in English while living in their home countriesj.
1
Agreed. Air the trial so we can see for ourselves!
1
@bearlemley What field of aviation? There are rarely "rares" in aviation. Perhaps, you tidy the aircraft between flights? A wing-walker, maybe?
1
@davidspeller4344 Actual republicans are constantly laughing at the likes of you. Heck, even trump spent 5 DECADES as a Democrat before quickly switching parties in 2016 --anothercase 0f trumpcalling someone elseputforthesame rimes he's already committed.
1
Trump hasn't even had a hearing in front of Judge Chutkan, yet. The magistrate just did the arraignment. And how do you know what Trump's defense has requested when they haven't requested anything yet?
1
Firm direction? He has flip-flopped on practically everything he wrote in his book 5 years ago.
1
She didn't announce her intention to "bring down Donald Trump.". She said she would follow the investigation wherever it took her. She obviously did
1
@jayherting74 the money hasn't even been released yet. Why do you suppose Iran is trying to bomb Israel?
1
@wadekaplan9379 Well, perhaps, the GOP will actually provide said evidence at some future point. Until then, the House Republicans look like a circus tent full of bozos.
1
That's EXACTLY what Trump has some trolling Republicans in Congress.
