  12. No, it's not. The S Class is definitely superior compared to the A8 for interior quality, at least how I've specced it compared to same year audi s8. In the same way, R8 > AMG GTS, RS3>A45. The RS7 is compared to the CLS63 FYI and in my view the two are the same.

  13. Mercedes doesn't have rubbish reliability or expensive maintenance my friend. It all depends upon how lucky you are - you can have problems with any car. You only hear about issues with cars, you don't hear as often how good the cars are.

  14. You obviously haven't sat in either S Class or C Class. The S Class is 100x better than a base E Class. The specced ones are good, but when I gave my S for retrofitting something, I was given a base spec E Class which was horrible compared to the S. My friends E220 AMG with the suspension option was much better but still can't touch the S Class lol.

  18.  @RobinGWakker  What gearbox problems? It depreciates because theres a lot of them, but the BMW definitely depreciates more, and the recently ended A8 did too. The new A8 probably will once the rarity of it decreases.

  21. One of those is the one I told you with the same results as this video, 760 winning till 62, S63 past there, one is a 4matic S63 which shows the S63 winning in all acceleration tests except 80-120kmh in 6th gear which would never happen since it would kickdown, and the other is an old S65.

Which standard M8 does the quarter mile in 10.5, and which standard M5 CP does it in 10.4 and 100-200 in 6.5?? Look at the owners instagram, he himself said his car isn't stock but has full free flow exhaust no cats. They said Ramon Performance car is stock but when has a stock M8 GC CP gone close to that fast?

It's been better value in terms of performance and feeling than anything in its price range and it demolishes everything including my RS6; the G80 is too harsh of a car for daily driver use though. I abuse the G80 and get like 180 miles out of £70 and still think its good value. If you want luxury value you can buy a 2018 S350 for 40k and get 600+ miles in a £90 tank.

  25.  @alexnutcasio936  We had 2 model xs, one was always in the shop. We dealt with Tesla service centre near dartford who were brilliant and always made sure we had a replacement car. It was still a brilliant car but a lot less “reliable” than the SVR and Autobiography that replaced them.

  28. Copied the model of fuel? Do you know much about cars? BMW had issues of smoke which pollutes the environment. Every diesel suffers when not maintained properly, it can be fixed by doing a diesel purge, and can be caused by rich mixture of fuel, unburnt diesel, overfueling or more problems. CDI is Common Rail Diesel Injection, something found in BMW Diesels as well.

  30. ManiakP0w3r The G series BMWs all look similar in the same way of the new C/E/S. I wonder why people are hating on what BMW and Mercedes are doing, it's the same thing they did a few generations ago, and no one had any problems back then. Once you sit inside either 7 series or s class you will guranteed feel the difference from the lower models.

  35. Sales for the S Class aren't going down, it's just that no one looks at the main market for these cars which is China. In fact, with the figures we can see, the S Class had sold around 1% (tiny amount) more cars in 2015 than 14.

  37. GoodLife This is the companies best as of now, you run what you have. If we waited for the RS7 Performance, wed then have to wait for the updated GT63 which would probably be coming out the year after etc. You don’t need to worry though, because the RS7 Performance vs GT63S video will come as soon as Carwow gets their hands on it.

  40. The thing is Mercedes has always been king of this segment. No one has been able to beat the S Class for sales, and even if the car is much better, it won't matter due to what the S Class established decades ago. Also, the S Class is in no way overpriced. There's a 5k difference between the two cars and for that you get a completely different experience, why is why you should form your own opinion instead of believing someone elses.

A race in Russia isn’t indicative of what happens in the UK because of attitude, air pressure, fuel etc which is why uk races often have different results

  44. Chatta290 Which taxi plates are you talking about? I'm sorry I'm not from Bristol but I've never seen taxi plates on any sort of high end luxury vehicle. Even if what you say is true, the general censeous is that the S Class is a more popular chauffeur and private car than it's 2 competitors. It got beat in 0-60 and quarter mile. They said the only reason it lost the 'battle' was due to it costing so much more, which is expected when these two cars aren't even meant to be in the same class. The GT63s went around the track again and beat the M5 CP by a decent amount on multiple tracks. Its faster around Hockenheim by nearly 3 seconds, Sachsenring by over a second, and vs normal M5 on Nurburgring by over 10 seconds.
