O J Wait, so you found one source which is completely inaccurate?  Quater Mile Times Tesla Model S P85D - 11.5 (fastest)  Average - 11.6 0-60 - 3.2 2014 M5 30 Year Edition -  0-60 - 3.7  Since there are no quarter mile times for the 30 Year Edition lets use a competition package which has a 0-60 of 3.6 which is faster than the 30 year edition in that aspect. Quarter mile time is 11.7. Seriously, what is your source smoking?

  12. +O J Different locations or typo. Look on their video. M5 Comp Package got 3.7 while the E63 S got 3.4. If they did it at the same location the merc would be faster as their video shows. Motor trend got the Tesla model s p85d to do quarter mile in 11.6.

  20. O J What about the SLS Black Edition which whenever was in a race with any BMW, handed it back to them on a plate? What about the CLK DTM, a car made in 2006 which can still beat most BMWs to 60, and to even higher speeds?

  29. O J Exactly what I was trying to do before he starts spamming taxi and calls me a "sad faggot" just because he has nothing better to do. Back to the point, you were talking about the 2000 one right? That does 0-70 in 4.7-4.8. It was sure a mighty beast but the 2001 M3 we had, it may have had a few bits of tuning on it, would have been faster. Man was that a car back then. It was also one of the only BMWs we have had that didn't break down. Recently, a friend bought a supercharged 2003 M3 and the noise that thing made. Not as mighty as some of the AMG cars but it was loud. The fastest BMW from the factory (non street-legal) was the 2003 M3 GTR Race Model which did 0-60 in 3.3. That isn't street legal, but there is a street legal 1998 CLK GTR which does 0-60 in 3.3 as well. If it was me, I would get a supercharged CLK Black Series like the guy on MB Forums has. His 1000+ hp beast does the quarter mile in under 10 seconds. Watch a few videos of the CLK DTM on the road. A stock one easily kept pace with a Gallardo when it was made. Now, get a E55 supercharged with some bolt ons and it can easily out pace a V10 R8.

  30. Mr Kruger​ Depends what you are looking for. If you want pure performance then sure. If you want a fun drive with more luxury then the Mercedes. If you don't mind tuning then a Mercedes since a lot more power can be gained compared to the BMW.

  31. Mr Kruger Read my edit. Mercedes let the tuning companies make it faster than BMW. Check out MSL Performance C63. All car brands need to get their act together. VWs Golf R400 will do 0-60 in under 4 seconds and a small tune would beat most BMWs.

Mr Kruger Since 1972 the S Class has been selling more than the 7 Series.  Also, I was talking about the posts where both you and UzzyFuzzy were saying stuff like the X5 Le Mans V12 can beat any Mercedes in a drag race but it only does 0-60 in 4.6 and the M1 Pro Car which does 0-60 in 4.3. BMW is also a much cheaper brand.

Most expensive road legal Mercedes is 3.5 mil then 3.3 mil then 3 mil then 1.3 mil then 1.1 mil then 900k then 900k then 880k then 850k then 770k then 650k then 650k then 600k then 600k and the list can go on.

  45. O J I'm talking about the video which shows it doing 0-300kmh. Not conservative figures. If the competition package does it in 3.4 seconds then its faster than the M5 30 Jahre.

  46. O J Video is on my channel. E63 stays ahead until ~200kmh compared to the Jahre. Around 180 where they keep inching ahead of each other.
