  13. They say the father of the Georgia shooter is facing 180 years in prison. Only that brought him to tears and his child killed a Black and Hispanic child. If the teachers weren't white, it might have been a hate crime. If parents won't act like responsible adults, our criminal system needs to hold them accountable.

  23. Don't Diss people who are leaving the country. It all depends on the situation. My friend is getting her married daughter and husband out because they want to (safely) start a family. They don't trust that medical help, if needed, will be available anywhere in the US and my friend just wants her daughter to be safe.

  33. The financial crises of 1987, 1990, 2001 and 2007 were all under Republicans. My aunt didn't know how to work a checkbook when her husband died. She didn't even know how cash worked (taxes added). Women were treated as small children until RECENTLY and I'm sure some still are.

With a background in finance and insurance, I realized early on the importance of being scrupulously honest and transparent in finances and personal life, not just because I live my life that way, but also understanding that it could be (and was!) weaponized against me by adversaries and misogynist bosses.
