"I had to get the injections so I could feed my family (keep my job)."....I hear this all the time, which is understandable......until you also consider the 'logic' at play and WHO would feed your family if you 'died suddenly'.......A job is something to service your life, your life shouldn't serve it. I think they might have targeted (or been trying to determine) how much folks will over-prioritise their jobs (for the new compliancy/serfdom world?) I loved my Uni teaching job but not enough to play Russian Roulette, so accepted my instant firing after the 'rules' post contract were changed (and ironically having previously been hired for my actual merit rather than my conformity merit)......and then had to take the job back after the mandates were dropped, the uni became desperate AND after the cost of living increase coerced me to return to my job of now working for a-holes (but with less risk at least).

I've lived in Melbourne Australia for 50 yrs and this city now feels like a shadow of itself while infect-filled with Invasion of the Body Snatchers inspired pod-people or vapid (while fake-smiling) Stepford Wives....It now feels like a strange alternate version of itself compared to say 15 years ago. I'm also the ONLY person I know who refused the compliancy experiment so maybe it has done something to brains and cognitive functioning as nothing really surprises me nowadays while things get stranger, more absurd and far too easily accepted with each new passing day.

I was marginalised by EVERYONE I knew (sans one who later succumbed due to coercion)......I have never had an apology......and when originally called an anti-vaxxer always queried why when I chose NOT to take it simply because I didn't want to be part of something that was clearly and deliberately divisive ......which would then strangely cause the accusers to change the subject and want to talk about something unrelated instead.....like a strange haze had over-come their better and more considered critical-thinking minds.

  10. My doc 'retired' too during it all, the last time I saw him was when I was getting a flu shot to be allowed to see my gran in a nursing home. As he was aspirating the needle he told me he was concerned about the drug company immunity for the upcoming 'drug' and sketchy mandates, to which I just smiled and replied to him "don't worry, you'll get it too" which he then looked at me regrettably and said "I know".......he closed his clinic a few months later when the jab came in and is a good man whose medical advice I (and I imagine many of his patients) now miss.

I had lots of friends getting booster phone and text message 'reminders' in Australia.....but they all registered themselves on the covid-app you had to use just to 'check-in' and enter venues (like the supermarkets) .......I never 'checked in' to stores during the fear mongering and just flashed my phone at the barcodes to appease the security, but never actually clicked the subsequent 'register' link so have never been gaslit......except from the easily-led masses who far-too easily negated me. A friend who 'registered' (and who worked at multiple busy public spaces) was quarantined THREE times and had to make alternate plans for someone to mind her kids being a single mother.

I was the same, teaching from home in isolation via Zoom and was going to continue to for the next four semesters.....but fired anyway.....and I can't do a thing about the BS as I'm re-hired each new semester as a sessional, where they simply just change the contract for the new semester.....They're shameless in their passive-aggressive power leveraging efforts.

  16. I'm glad they can have a thoughtful chat and sarcastic laugh at the end but the whole thing is pretty horrific and tragic when further considered. I now know two families who have kids with myocarditis and a third with a dead kid (and a silent payment) as well as a great friend who 'died suddenly' just recently.

I'm gladder every day that I was banned from my part time uni teaching job......it was a two semester break, where they then had to offer my job back after the mandates finished (and they got desperate after trying two other teachers).....where I normally would have told them to shove it up their even darker regions if the cost of food and living hadn't mysteriously increased while the next creepy opportunists in line started their part of the 'lessening' grift!
