Not exactly accurate science they had back then. Also pluto isn't a planet. It's an oversized asteroid, part of the kuiper belt. There are many like it, and if we were to count every single dwarf planet as an official planet the list would go on and on.

Renewables and oil can work for countries with less confidence in themselves to manage a nuclear plant I guess.

  42.  @joaobispo2602  nuclear produces less harmful emissions over a lifetime than solar. Solar is unreliable, and nowhere near as efficient. Nuclear energy will be constant, reliable, extremely safe (especially with thorium) and very efficient. And also it doesn't fry birds.
