  7. As such, Zelensky would permanently lose the 4 regions and Crimea. Ukraine would be in a perpetual war with Russia, just like mainland China and Taiwan island. Unless there is a Peace Treaty.

  38.  @duhni4551  In the long run, this would hurt USA and EU if the highway robbery succeeded. Not only the rest of the world would not put their future foreign assets in them, they would withdraw their whatever current foreign assets from them. Credit "Swiss" bank is a good example.

  39.  @duhni4551  Perhaps you did not realize the rest of the world aren't buying more IOU from USA, and are keen in selling them. Also, the rate of de-dollarization had picked up, and tons of gold being transferred back to their own country instead of keeping it in USA. As for Switzerland, that EU law had been in place before Russo-Ukraine war, and no large amount of money being transferred out. Only when Credit "Swiss" started to freeze Russian A/C, then the outflow began which led to its bankruptcy. In essence, the rest of the world had lost trust in the safety of their foreign assets and reserves in the collective West. The day that NATO/EU really rob Russia would be the day whatever that's left in them be withdrew out by the rest of the world.

  44.  @moffig1  Unfortunately, Ukraine lacks the manpower for long term attrition war with Russia. NATO/EU lacks the goodwill to fully support Ukraine for long term attrition war. Currently, Ukraine is facing sanctions over it's grains export from Eastern Europe. Ukraine would not be able to retake Crimea and join NATO ( France opposed ). It is more realistic to negotiate for peace than to fight till the last abled Ukrainian.

  49. I doubt it would be a another 7 years since 90% of Bakhmut had fallen to Russia. We would see how capable Ukraine military is, when the battle for the rest of Donbas region begin.
