Hearing all this about continuing inflows of money into Ukraine will make Putin want to take control of Kiev, so he could be receiving that money on behalf of Ukraine. Keep it coming, boys.

About those two captured Chinese soldiers with bank cards... Zelensky is probably at the ATM trying to use their bank cards to empty out their accounts. Or buy weapons online.
3
If you see Nuland handing out cookies at the Eiffel Tower, you will know that Macron isn't listening to Washington.
3
Maybe "Neo-Realists" would work?

NATO should have sent user manuals with all those weapons so Ukrainians could use them and maintain them. However, if those user manuals are anything like IKEA furniture assembly instructions, then it would still be hopeless. Or maybe the user manuals were not translated into Ukrainian. Knowing that, NATO is likely to send instructions along with the F16s, because Dutch is not an easy language to learn, especially the pronunciation.

@марива-ц1б Probably sold by US as a "loss leader."
3
It's not near or adjacent to Poland.

"Russia's military set back by 18 years," according to Kyiv Post. This must be because the future recruits are just being born, and in 18 years they will be of military age.
3
That U2 concert is to raise money for Ukraine, I believe. The lead singer Bono is probably going to cash the checks personally, which is why he made them payable to "PRO BONO." On a more serious note, it's not surprising that Bono is involved in an event raising money for Ukraine. Both he and Sean Penn have the same kind of primitive presence in their faces and behavior.

So Lavrov will have to eat his lunch all alone. Maybe some diplomat will feel sorry for him and sit with him.
3
You can never have too many sanctions on a country.
3
I think the night watchman looked at the tag on one of these weapons, and called his office: "Hey Boss, some of these rockets are past due date. This one says 'best before August 2023' in capitals, FFS."
3
Obviously, Russia is very fickle. At one time Russia is taking over the Baltics, then Poland, and now the Balkans. Where is this going to end!? Lisbon?
3
Maybe the foreigners were using the pizza joint as a "decision-making centre."
3
Essentially, Lindsay Graham is ruling out vacationing in Crimea.
3
Ukraine should call it U-Day and bring Sean Penn to make a Hollywood movie with real war footage.
3
It could have been Chinese tourists in that balloon.
3
Who is feeding Trump such false information about Ukraine and Russia?
3
The $300 billion was just rounding error. It's just a blip in US war expenditures, which include many things beyond just the Pentagon budget.
3
Someone should tell Duda "You have got a nice Warsaw here, and it would be a shame if anything happened to it."
3
That makes for a lot of uncertainty right there.
3
Baerbock reminds me of a high-school debating club on its first day.
3
The city where Immanuel Kant lived is now in Russia's Kaliningrad, so by the domicile standard he was Russian.
3
Dmedvedev has earned his rights among the best of stand up comedians.
3
The EU might try to discredit the Romanian election frontrunner before the second round by claiming that Simion is really Simian.
3
Alex should do a video at a traditional Greek restaurant showing dancers wearing slippers with pompoms on them. Have some Greek music, souvlaki, ouzo, Retsina, the whole bit. And then do an interview with the owner whose brother-in-law owns a Greek restaurant in Chicago.
3
@katerina_m6643 Yeah, and they borrow but don't return them, like me and the library.
3
Russia doesn’t mind if Starmer sends UK troops to Ukraine. It's up to the reader to figure out why.
3
KlaunFuhrer-du7fr I feel a need to make a clarification. European peoples didn't all come there at once. They came in waves. We are a composite of African tribes. It just so happens that a particular tribe who learned technology from Mesopotamia went to spread the culture and language across all of Europe. And now we all speak Indo-European. I will leave it there, before some SJW shuts me down.
3
The WEF had to use private jets because the planet needed saving in a hurry. None of this waiting at public airports mingling with riffraff.
3
He'll get over it while sipping a Mai Tai, sitting next to his pool in a warm country and looking out at the yachts passing by.
3
German dependency on Russia is not the problem. The problem is with Germany's poor judgment in dealing with Russia.
3
@rodneykiehne5212 That's standard military uniform the US gives to foreign dictators who cooperate with the US government. So far it seems to only come in dark green, although I had seen some khaki versions.
3
The lack of understanding of Russia and the Russian people is astounding. If you kill more Russians in Russia or downgrade its economy and make people suffer, Russian citizens will be baying for blood. Not for Putin's blood, but the West's. Virtually every analyst, every government, every institution of the West is divorced from reality to such an extent that they may as well be living in an alternate universe.
3
Isn't there a paradox in believing Russia can control the weather while at the same time thinking Ukraine can win the war or win in a counter-offensive against Russia? I mean, after all, wouldn't someone who knows how to control the weather have better technologies or tricks up his sleeve and cannot be defeated by those who can't control the weather?
3
If Davos Globalists wanted a joint press conference, they would have invited Bill Maher.
3
dražen g Yes. That is how historians understand it. The Serbian partisans fought the Germans from the hills and forests of Yugoslavia. The Germans mostly wanted an open road to Greece to clean up the mess that Italians created there.
3
But EU membership was far away. Why is anyone talking about it? And Bulgaria seems committed to remaining a backward country. It would be interesting to see the calculation of how LNG from the US can be cheaper than how they were buying gas from Russia.
3
That story about Zaluzhnyi looking different because of how the "light hit his eye" reminded me of that Italian classic. 🎶 "...when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore..."
3
They drive those electric scooters fast.

I think most people will agree Putin is not stepping down, because that would be preposterous and the Russian people don't want him to. Splitting into three regions is impossible, because that would remove the resources on which Russia's survival depends. It would also make Russia weak. So no way. This would also mean, I presume, that Russia gives up the four currently controlled regions. Ukraine is unlikely to get a response to the proposal from Russia, except in increased offensive toward whatever objectives it has. And no, Russia is not afraid of direct US involvement or any other escalation, because it has already resigned itself to that if push comes to shove, they are willing to get into a nuclear war with NATO and the USA. This is not 1963 Cuba, and the actions Russia has taken in Ukraine are of vital importance to Russia's security. So all of the threats aimed at Russia will come to nought.
3
Biden could say he simply wants to retire, and not that he doesn't have the ability to be president now or after November. There is a very real risk that another candidate will be nominated for President at the DN Convention, and the scary part is that behind closed Democratic doors Hillary Clinton's name comes up a lot.
3
Mexico is very likely to arrest Putin. Their new government is closer to the US than the previous one.
3
Motor Sich was expropriated from Chinese investors in 2021. The recent news must be about the legal proceedings after Chinese investors sued Ukraine's government.
3
Ukraine got its military strategy from Obama's Presidential campaign. It was called "Hope and Change."
3
There is a song named You've Got a Friend. It has the words "...winter, spring, summer or fall..." That should be the song played in Ukrainian trenches. German soldiers were inspired by the song "Lily Marlene" and fought all the more bravely because of it.
3
After Lloyd Austin's speech, arms manufacturers might cease printing "Made in Iran" (or whatever country made the stuff) on their weapons. After all, it's not like the manufacturers need to advertise to the enemy's bombed troops "look how well our rockets work and they are available to purchase..." In a war, marketing has dubious utility.
3
The British Defense Minister could be right about all those foreign wars over the next five years. After all, he didn't say the UK is going to win any of them. But he might have been thinking that the US is going to start all those wars, and the UK will be holding onto its apron like a toddler.
3
Annalena Baerbock is Germany's answer to America's AOC.

This is a message to Alex Christoforou. YT is deleting comments that for sure are not offensive to anyone. Is there a financial reason where YT saves money by reducing comments because of some mechanism in calculating the channel's remuneration?
