  3.  @sccm100  Actually thats incorrect, California is the 8th richest state in America; places like Alaska, Hawaii, and New Jersey are richer than California. The only reason California is as rich as it is now is because of how large and populus the state is, along with their film industry and the fact that many companies choose to base their headquarters there which means more high income residents for cali's high taxes.

  5. Banning animals from circus performances I understand, their conditions are often times cruel; but fur products? We farm rabbits and hunt animals for food, now their furs will just go to waist rotting in a landfill; not to mention how this will hurt Californias economy.

  13.  @DownWithComcast  True, but you also have a very large population many of which are homeless and need assistance from government programs; now that the fur industry (which is worth 40 billion dollars) is banned in California they can't tax it which will further strain their resources when that tax money could be put to good use helping people.

  15. Plenty of innocent people get convicted of crimes they didn't commit there was recently that black guy who got released after spending 20 years in prison for something he didn't do, sometimes people think suicide is better than life in prison.

  17. maybe we should start putting law and police procedure into our schools as a class so they can quickly be trained once out, put all critically under staffed jobs in high-schools as classes.

  20.  @ryandrouillard7088  schools are supposed to train you for the jobs of today and the jobs of today that desperately need filled are cops, paralegals, plumbers, electricians, and medical staff like nurses, so put them in highschools to speed things up. The more kids who get exposed to these job fields early on the more might get an interest in them and stick with them after graduation. The medical and legal training will help these kids if they ever end up in court or if they ever need to help someone who's hurt.

I didn't want the wall built because Trump made it seem like he was just a racist who wanted to keep Mexicans out, now I'm thinking a wall might be necessary since it seems like we're going to have to go to war with the cartels; will need that buffer. That being said I still don't trust Trump plenty of other things he's said and done make me distrustful of him.

  25. Being left or right in Mexico has nothing to do with it, the cartels are just too powerful and The Mexican government as a whole can't handle them; the Mexican Government doesn't run Mexico anymore the drug cartels do.

  28. when will cops learn to wear rolling body cams whenever they're working, if they had a warrant and made themselves known like they say they did the video would exonerate them. Instead they had 1 witness to attest their story and witness claims are widely known to be unreliable.

Unless you are a store owner or are deputized you should not be out with a gun, your only going to get yourself in trouble. cops should learn to shoot once they see a weapon and no matter the budget constraints all cops should have body cameras that run 24/7 until they are taken off at the station, any lost video is the fault of the police for not providing proper maintenance. And due to all the pandemic, looting, vandalism, and violence all mass public protests should be temporarily banned until the pandemic is over. people can still protest online or in small limited groups that give police proper notice at least 1 day in advance.

Im in support for this but also worried that demands like this will be abused by bad apples and lead to some black people trying to achieve black superiority or worse a snowball effect of this behaviour. Example: a black guy doesn't get a promotion because this other guy had some college experience and the guy tries to pull the "it's because im black" card. Reason for worry: black guys would throw basketballs at my head on the court and when i confront them they pull the "this is because im black" card to try to make it about race and get others who weren't paying attention previously to get involved when it wasn't about race at all.

  45. Well there's nothing to be questioned the robbers shot at them first, what should cops do just take the bullets let them get away? I pay these cops out of my taxes to stop dangerous people like these guys and rarely does a shoot out happen in such a public place, but if it does there's bound to be ricocheting bullets and accidental hits on civilians; it's a tragedy but there was little police could do to avoid it since the criminals chose such a public place with so many people.
