At least she was 60 we can't say her life was cut too short and with how successful she was I'd say she lived just about a full life, nonetheless it's still sad and someone needs to be held responsible; this would be more tragic if it was someone in their mid-20s whose career was just taking off had just started a family.

  17. @Jay Kemme You fight it by killing all those who take their place, eventually they'll run out of people who want to take the throne and all the cartels will collapse; aim for their drug operations so they have no money and people will stop working for them either because they aren't getting paid or because their afraid they'll die. Plenty of people took the place of isis leaders but we've nearly wiped them all out, the US knows what it's doing.

  34.  Branden Lee  if that's what you think defending the police means then you haven't looked very far past right-wing headlines, defending police means diverting money from the police department to new less violent subsections of law enforcement that deal with less violent things like sending unarmed police trained in Psychology to deal with domestic violence or suicidal cases; if things escalate then they call in for armed reinforcements. The money is still in the police department it's just being used differently by new different subsections of the police Department so they can reduce the amount of unnecessary killings.

  37.  Branden Lee  your perception of defunding the police also a generalization police departments will still have funding it will just be reduced and rerouted to different programs, there's plenty of evidence that police are going too far. I've seen video of military men getting assaulted by police, old men getting assaulted by police, any news reporters being assaulted by police; the police are out of control and need to be rained in. If you think there's no evidence then you're just biased and not looking for it outside of your echo chambers.

If we can't trust our Police Department's to hold these few bad apples accountable then we can't trust our police departments at all. It's a lot like gangs if one of the police officers are in trouble or do something wrong the department comes to their aid and no one's going to rat them out, they're going to try and protect them.

  48. As much as I like free money I'm not sure we should keep throwing out stimulus checks left and right, unless we have some tool to combat inflation of the dollar at home and abroad; continue going to hand out stimulus checks could be bad for the economy in the long run.
