  5. 1 or 2 leaks could be written off as a natural burst, dozens of leaks could be written off as a massive structural failure of the pipes, but 3 leaks is suspicious as humans tend to operate on rules of 3. Edit: recently learned that these pipes are encased in concrete and Norway registered a 2.2 seismic burst on the Richter scale around the time of the pipe failure. If Russian gas was shut off then the pressure in the pipe would not have increased but rather decreased, if what was left in the pipes was being siphoned the closest thing that would have happened was an implosion but that wouldn't have left 3 holes.

The United States simply can't afford to keep spending massive amounts of public money, we are already paying off credit card debt with credit card debt; the United States literally cannot afford to pay its national debt and that's why the Democrats keep asking for the debt ceiling to be raised. Raising the debt ceiling is like asking for the limit on your credit card to be increased, if we don't keep raising the debt ceiling worst case scenario we will go into default best case scenario we will need to renegotiate with our creditors to have interest rates Frozen so we can spend some time paying off the principal. I want to see ukraine win but europe needs to start stepping up or at least paying tribute to the US if we're gonna keep being their protection.

  10.  Eliot Ness  doing so would only further isolate and impoverish russia, most of Russias exports are to EU and NATO member countries, these nations (Germany for example) will simply invest in other nations who can supply them with what they need. Things will be tough for a while but they will prefer this to caving to russia, 70% of Russian oil, gas, and uranium exports go to the EU and US. If they can't export this it will result in mass unemployment in russia as people are laid off coupled with a reduction in public spending.

The story about the women who was trafficked to Spain is a tragic one but one that could have been easily avoided not by banning the trade or ignoring it but by regulating it, make it illegal to prostitute without a license and without a brick and mortar business that inspectors can visit to make sure the prostitutes are safe. Then all prostitute business without the two pre-requisites can easily be seen as trafficking.

A good example of this is the vietnam war, many were against the war and many who were for it were largely lied to about it's necessity and depravity.

The EU is making a mistake finning Poland like this, it will only encourage their withdrawal from the EU like Britain; just like many here in the USA think states should have their own rights and the feds shouldn't over reach, Poland just wants to be poland without foreign powers telling it how to run itself.
