  16. ​ @RakeshSharma-nq5tp  If Russian speaking people were discriminated against then why didn't they just move to Russia where they would be treated better, and if Russia already has 2 nuclear capable jets in Venezuela; the reason NATO still exists and the reason many western nations don't like Russia is because their leadership will lock you up for criticizing them and if you try to run against them they will either lock you up or kill you like has happened to many opponents of Putin, they line their own pockets at the citizens expense and put all their friends in powerful places like an oligarchy. In Russia you don't have true freedom. NATO might exist but it didn't pose any real threat to Russia, NATO is a purely defensive military pact and had Russia dealt with it's corruption and sought friendship instead of rivalry with many of the NATO members then it's members would have questioned why they were even in it in the first place, NATO could have been dissolved but Russia just gave NATO a reason to continue existing and even expand. This is like if someone says your a mean person who picks on others and you say you're not, then proceed to attack someone; you prove everyone calling you a mean person who picks on others right. All Russia had to do was try diplomacy.

  25. I agree that they need to reduce reliance on the US but I also disagree with their cowardly claims that they shouldn't help their allies in time of war. If they do the US would keep this in mind if they are ever invaded and refuse aid.

  26. Islam truly is a threat to national security, It's one of 2 Religions that I know of that have violence as a core tenant (aka the jihad about non-believers).   31. Japan's pacifism stance is due to the collective trauma the nukes inflicted on them, but this could happen again if they can't defend themselves at the hands of an aggressor. Also if japan hadn't lost the war or (either by winning or reaching a white peace before America reached the japanise mainland) there wouldn't have been any nukes to traumatize them. Pacifism won't protect them from that kind of trauma again, it would only prevent them from defending themselves and prevent bad apples in their military from committing war crimes.

Ukrain wants to join NATO because Russia already attacked them and took Crimea, china annexed Hong kong and steals islands from Taiwan to build military bases. The US and ukrain just want to enter into a consensual defense pact.
