  17.  @kukulroukul4698  My country is one of the poorest ones in the EU and it has benefitted immensely from membership. You just need to look at attitudes towards EU membership across EU members. The institution is def. not perfect but we are all pretty much on board. And if any country - such as Hungary - wants to leave, they know where the door is (but they won't, because membership benefits laaaaaargely outweight the costs). Shocks of this nature and all the garbage coming from the east have reminded us of how good we have it in general terms and of how far stronger cooperation can get us. You are an opinionated outsider looking from afar with little to zero knowledge about how people feel about the EU. But that's OK.

  26.  @namename-qb5xe  NATO has not been involved in the Donbas /The Donbas is Ukraine's territory and yet Russia's forces were involved in the region since 2014, often times denying it/ Russia did not respect the Minsk agreements either, go and read them and check out what they say about Russia's presence in Ukraine's territory / Something else that Russia did not respect is the Budapest Memorandum, through which Ukraine gave up 3,000 nuclear warheads in exchange for respect of their sovereignty and territorial integrity / Russia is invading Ukraine and stealing their land, not the other way around. If the pathetic annexation ceremonies that took place in Moscow recently have not taught you anything about Russia's imperialistic motivation in Ukraine, you'd be better off picking up a book instead of spreading misinformation left and right.

Russia was warned - "please, do not destroy Ukraine, or there will be consequences" - an infinite amount of times. They did not seem to worry much, so now they must face them. It is going to cost us too, but life is not just about money.

Would Russia have accepted a Turkish invasion in Chechnya to liberate the territory? Would they have just looked? Russia needs to stop meddling in the affairs of other countries.
