Death rate from Covid and long Covid, the Republican voter base is older the key demographic affected by the disease as in men are more likely to die from it than women. Deaths are round the Million mark in the UK they have lost 150k but the have calculated through data available from the NHS that they have 1.5 million long covid cases how many Republican supporters will be suffering the debilitating affects of long Covid and with additional voting restrictions what impact will that have on turnout?
1
@fuckamericanidiot there is no such thing as small government it doesn't exist you either have government or you have anarchy, libertarians by their stance on multiple issues do not believe in government.
1
Food is being affected by two things climate change and Cartel behaviour by fewer and fewer suppliers Same story for energy Energy will get cheaper because of renewables but its going to take a few years
1
Tear gas dictionary meaning - gas that causes sever irritation to the eyes. Pepper spray - capsaicin a chemical derived from the capsicum genus using ethanol which is then paired with an emulsifier such as propylene glycol then processed to act like a grenade and dispersed like smoke. Sounds like a lot of chemicals to me and it's not well regulated on how strong the stuff is. Anyone ordering this stuff deployed or deploying it needs to have gone in a room without protective clothing and had one of these set off so they know exactly what there doing and while we're at it fire some rubber bullets at them.
1
Run during Tuckers program how ironic, 60 seconds of gut punches finished by an uppercut while sleepy Don's thumbs go into overdrive Given the parody on Regan it hits a certain age key age group especially hard
1
I work in IT the pandemic didn't have a negative effect on us we worked remote and due to the pandemic business boomed due to Cloud installations decentralised networks and a push to remote working as well as serious software infrastructure upgrades, stuff that companies were thinking about over the next ten years has been accelerated beyond belief. The economy as David said has a K shaped recovery but it's more fundamental than that it appears to have fractured completely into two different economies one that has taken on the challenge and run with the technology fueling the Nasdaq especially but you see echoes of fundamental change everywhere just look at the increase in cashless payments. That other economy needs investment change and at speed
1
Joe didn't sort the border quick enough and let it sit there brewing The cost of groceries and food staples has nearly doubled with rent going up 50% Harris got all the blame for inflation Gaza - whatever the Democrats did would p1ss people off, young voters were animated about it and the Muslim vote deserted them So here we are Make America Garbage Again
1
If Trump gets a second term he'll probably get to pick 2 supreme Court judges plus the damage and capture of the lower courts will see a roll back of moderate policies never mind getting anything progressive done for at least the next half century.
1
Its self interest for the company as its built on the intellect and skills of its employees, low turnover and happy workforce has rocketed the company forward, its more productive inventive and has a better shot in the down times. The panel looked like they wanted to burn him at the stake for heresy though, they are just so short term and small minded
1
Why do these people listen to this idiot he's a f**** moron with dementia and a speed habit
1
Fox viewers are being softened up with a pre purgatory phase, maybe Fox is God's joke on the damned and Murdoc is one of Satan's henchmen?
1
I work in IT over the last few years our servers have moved to the cloud with this crisis were working from home, they've furloughed the the reception staff and are looking to close the office permanently. So 2 receptionists contracted out security staff and cleaning staff gone. There's no on switch these jobs are gone never to come back
1
The problem is the ongoing March to automation you needed less labour/hours , the amount of wealth generated is skyrocketing but that's all locked up at the very top, there has to be a reckoning that a redistribution in some shape or form has to happen. For those saying no history has one major way of forcing the issue civil unrest and war, it really is in the top 1% long term interests to not be so Fecin greedy.
1
You can't afford not to have a decent minimum wage, it saves billions out of public coffers and putting the onus on employers to stump up the money and pumps more money into the economy
1
It's probably worse than the figures are currently showing the reason being young voters are breaking for the Democrats across the board in 2020 they picked up 70% of young voters. Also the GOP are keen on thier voters catching covid
1
You can make your own by the way if you have a sewing machine which is more than adequate and are not restrictive with a pocket to insert tissue papaer Instruction video https://youtu.be/9ljLYHedxyU

will he be the only president to be impeached twice then removed by the 25th amendment or is he going to just start a civil war.
1
Well at least it's easy for the psychiatrists to diagnose his multiple neurosis as there's plenty of material. The Qanon stuff is even crazy by right wing standards
1
So here's my instinct, based on the science and data will work from home where possible get my groceries delivered and stay in social distancing mode till there's a vaccine.
1
There's suggestions on here about an alternate party instead of all coexisting in the Democratic tent. Elections are decided on a first past the post system, the Republican party could have split with the rise of the Tea party but it didn't they were absorbed and the party moved hard right. If you look at the UK where the vote is split between a number of centre left / left leaning parties the Conservatives have a huge majority with 40% of the vote the other parties combined are therefore in the majority but have no say. If I were in the GOP I'd really like the centre and left to split it would tilt the balance to Republican control for the foreseeable future, just saying Really enjoy your show David
1
The right wing media have hammered into the people again and again that it is tribal, the hard core Republican support has been indoctrinated into a belief that everything a Democrat does has to be opposed at all costs. They cannot be seen to have a win, the ultimate expression of this is Texas and Florida no matter how sensible and logical the covid response is they MUST oppose it. Biden cannot be seen to win even if it kills swathes of people and cripples state businesses he must be seen aa a failure at all costs. If they retake the house or the Senate it won't be gridlock anymore it will be revenge
1
So who doesn't think DT could have turned the border camps into death camps with another 4 years in office the desensitisation was well under way
1
Biden can't take Warren as veep the bankers and money men will have a complete meltdown, tactic would be to bring her on board after the election as Secretary of treasury or commerce. Abraham will get a role in election reform. Biden may look a soft touch but he knows what needs doing and will be heavily influenced on leaving a legacy.
1
There are loads of models around that use expected V actual, the more they try and hide it the more people will turn to other sources for data
1
Lol Dobbs is a disgrace who hires this guy on a business program he's a complete joke who hasn't a clue about business
1
People stand there and lap this crap up, it's like verbal diarrhea vomiting across the crowd infecting thier brains. Every time he speaks he appears to occupy a space of time yet say absolutely nothing it's all word salad, no policies no vision no substance no clue
1
The IRS guy who was in congress the other day said they could get a Trillion PA if the top players paid what there liable for Infrastructure spending is rated by economists to generate 95 cents return on the dollar tax cuts are rated at returning 25 cents on the dollar
1
ANTIFA isn't an organisation so you can't declare it as a terror threat The Proud Boys are an organisation which Canada have declared as a terror organisation
1
Alcohol impacts the immune system, at this point in time everyone should be on fresh fruit and veg to boost it not beer and pizza.
1
Whatever your political stripe putting a 78 year old mental patient in the Whitehouse is not a good idea We still don't know what he did with nuclear secrets he stole and kept in his bathroom
1
This equates to +250 billion in tax revenues
1
I found the affair disturbing a rich powerful old man grooms a young intern, people in positions of power have a responsibility. Yea I know Trump is a predator but that's not an excuse and you know what fox is its a propaganda machine for the right how anyone watches that channel and believes the conspiracy theories and crap they spout is unfathomable
1
You have a vote because the founders of the US fought and died to create a democracy, people need to take a step back and reflect on how entitled they are, use it as you wish but vote.
1
@timothykozlowski2945 The Republicans are god awful with the economy 4 years of Trump his only achievement was a corporate tax cut that got debt loaded and is one of the underlying reasons for part of the current inflation. There only answer to inflation is to cut government spending which increases unemployment depressing wages and if they cut taxes as well it will increase interest rates even further. Reagan cured inflation with off shoring jobs sky high interest rates and 13% unemployment.
1
@zogar8526 We have predominantly supply side corporate inflation on essential commodities (fuel and food) there is also a portion which is caused by the Trump tax cuts which were debt loaded increasing the money supply. There would have been inflation no matter what, the Democrats have actually averted a deep recession we've had a couple of static quarters as you say employment is high and inflation is dropping the forecast is 2.4% going into 2023. If you could disconnect your Fuel from the world commodity market then ?
1
If you have faith why the burning need to spread your disease to your congregation
1
At least he's finally got a policy for his second term He could create a new disinformation and suppresion department headed up by his cartoon Goebbels Rudy Guiliani
1
There's a clip of Faucci explaining why development of corona vaccines never got off the ground after sars, it goes along the lines of well it's in animals and there's no profit in developing a vaccine that may never be used, looks like there needs to be a worldwide sea change in government support on research and development.
1
It's all Biden's fault for having such a good economy
1
50+% of white males are still with this creep, white women are down to less than 40% which begs the question of what sort of abusive behaviour could ever sway them from not voting for him. You could say it's a combination of racism and Stockholm syndrome that keeps them in line. Trump is not a Republican it's purely about lining his own pockets and power filling a vacuum created by Gingritch and then McConnel and the warping of the party by big money interests.
1
Nice one Barack let's have one a weekend to wind the Orange one up
1
The anti Trump vote is baked in he has no chance of turning it round.
1
When they come to jail him the insanity plea is nailed on. He can't remember a cat 5 has already happened then he went full senile grandpa with his hurricane forecast because he can't ever be seen to be wrong then went back to threatening the Chinese. His staff are just letting him do whatever he wants because no one wants to pull the 25th.
1
Limbar and Trump would screw anything with a pulse the pair are so morally corrupt it makes you realise what a cesspit the Right have become. Love or hate Pete as a politician the way he's spoken openly about his relationship and the harm that people inflict with thier intolerance has certainly opened my eyes to the damage religious bigotry causes. I'm not religious in any shape or form but using it to harm other people is sickening, anyone using the Bible as thier justification are just morally bankrupt
1
The GOP Whitehouse laundromat At this rate they'll burn out the motors on the Grift machine
1
It's not just abortion there is talking Christian crazy shit like day after pill contreception IVF being banned.
1
There's only 1 way of paying for such massive tax cuts and that is to cut the big ticket items that is Cutting Social Security Cutting Medicare and MediCaid Cutting for example IRS staff decreases revenue not increases it yet on every budget they try defund it
1
They hate everything including themselves Another vote looser, thier family values need burying in a pit with 6 feet of soil on them, the world has moved on
1
Real world average wages are down -4% this is in stark contrast to European and other developed economies whose figures are worse with the fallout of Covid relief money squirted into the system. To tackle that problem you need more taxes on the rich There is Greedflation brought about by endless corporate consolidation and pandemic + war profiteering In the face of all of that the economy is firing up like never before 400,000 jobs reshored last year and the birth of NEW manufacturing renewable energy and broadband projects new bridges AND inflation is coming down. The GOP answer is savage cuts to spending sending the economy into recession and massive unemployment (Reaganomics with 7/8% unemployment high interest rates crushing working and middle class)
