I continue to be astonished by how many Americans continue to be conned by bollocks like this.
172
Well done America! Your crackpot foreign policy has thrown two heavily-armed opponents into each others' arms.
102
It would be if it was true.
46
No. It's how frightened children behave.
34
I think I hear the sound of the bottom of a barrel being scraped.
25
What for?
23
A fair trial is impossible. But who cares? This is just a circus anyway.
20
Ukraine does not come to an end. It just continues in a different form - something which it is very much used to.
17
There are people in prison for doing nothing at all. It's nothing to be proud of.
15
That vital aid can be replaced - without it being used as a cover for aggression and undermining the stability of foreign nations.
14
Name one lie.
12
It deserves her.
12
Who are the Soviets? The term ceased to exist more than thirty years ago.
11
You've already got one.
9
Getting Biden out would be a good start in itself.
9
There's nothing a good embalmer and pharmaceuticals can't fix. Don't worry, Joe will be OK.
9
He knows how to behave when faced with bullying slimebags though.
8
He's actually the only hope you've got for survival.
7
@OmANnIe No it hasn't. You confuse allegation with proof.
7
Adultery being less egregious than treason, corruption and warmongering - then yes.
7
And both more than Biden.
6
At least Russia got the leader most people wanted. The same can't be said for America.
6
@Stephanie-bl8je He said Biden was incompetent. Will that do?
5
If they're still alive and functioning.
5
Why should she? It would imply this was serious, rather than the shameful farce that it is
5
Good for him!
5
The "security" of Ukraine isn't uppermost in Trump's mind. Peace and prosperity for America is - and that means doing deals with Russia.
5
The Dems have brought this upon themselves by trying to weaponize the judicial system.
4
Name one lie.
4
Joe is a wonderful advertisement for the US pharmaceutical industry. He should let us know what he's on so we can all have some.
4
Time to reverse that, I think.
4
@TeasLouise If the US hadn't sparked off the war in the first place no support would be necessary.
4
Fauci??And you accuse Trump's followers of belonging to a cult?
4
@busterofcoviddeniers No war for a start. Near full employment. Business stability.... Meanwhile the deficit increases, reaching braking point and America is helping finance a disastrous war which is going to fail, as the retreat from Kabul failed, further diminishing America's credibility in the eyes of the world. This wouldn't have happened under Trump. As for the pandemic, America would have done better if Trump had followed his instincts instead of being forced to listen to so-called "experts" whose advice vastly increased the death toll and whose strategies are even now being felt as excess deaths, especially among the young and middle-aged, continue to mount.
4
@mile_high_topher I get so tired of these foolish analogies between Hitler and Putin. They may make simpletons feel clever, but they add nothing to the debate.
4
We're going to know before long who's right and who's wrong It's going to be Trump and Musk - but MSNBC will be saved the embarrassment of reporting this because it won't exist any more.
4
You are deluded.
4
You don't seem to get it. These tariffs are not supposed to be anything other than kicks in the pants - to have an immediate effect before being rescinded.
4
@OmANnIe As far as one can make out all that has happened is that these people have been exposed as being highly prejudiced against Trump, and therefore in no proper position to judge him fairly. This scarcely counts as being "attacked" and if they are taking part, as they are, in the manipulation of the judicial system for political gain, then this hardly qualifies as "civic duty."
3
@alcrow1458 I'm 75 and the only Michael Marshall Smith I know of is a British writer of rather poor fantasy novels. I just wonder why we should give any credence to his views on the current political situation in the US. Or is there perhaps another one?
3
I'm sure Trump would love to go to jail for a couple of nights. The publicity would be fantastic!
3
How can anyone trust information when it is peddled by drug pushers?
3
Without him we probably wouldn't have had covid in the first place.
3
@iltsd123 Very much so.
3
@dancingisraeli911 What's the cunning plan then?
3
@justinj8492 Russia has not failed and Ukraine is not a sovereign nation.
3
@KatherineJames-y6o How do you define a sovereign nation? A nation isn't sovereign just because it claims to be, or America says it is. And even then it's just a word. Follow your own advice and research the history of the area which has now been labelled "Ukraine".
3
Apart from the four years when he was just that you mean?
3
@Sadbuttrue-ThatSwedishGirl These are foolish analogies. Ukraine was created a mere thirty years ago and by means of a flawed treaty which ignored the geographical and economic realities of the position. The places you mention were Spanish colonies. Donbass and Crimea were never colonies. They were, and are, parts of Russia.
3
@DavidJ222 Western Ukraine can become America's poodle if it wishes. But Donbass and Crimea stay Russian.
