  24. I love Tulsi but hopefully you are wrong and she doesn't make a big jump. We know the game is rigged. We know it's going to be a war for the WH. We know the corporate dems are going to be doing anything and everything they can to stop a progressive from being president. For those reasons progressives should be presenting a unified front and supporting the clear leader of the progressive movement, Bernie Sanders. There is only a limited number of progressives to spread their support around and their support should be going toward him. He deserves to be higher than he is right now and Tulsi should be backing him... not opposing him.

Um.. not exactly because you are comparing Hillary Clinton to Bernie Sanders. And Hillary Clinton was never popular even if she had name recognition. The bottom line is that you want to take the advantages Sanders has and toss them in the garbage so that you can get a candidate who has the same disadvantages Sanders had in 2016 which were likely the difference between him winning and losing. And for what? Do you think Gabbard would be so significantly better as President that you are willing to risk losing for it? I sure as fuck don't. The establishment still has their dirty tricks and partly the reason I do not expect they will work in 2020 is because Sanders can level the playing field with his name recognition and popularity.

  35. I absolutely have heard Bernie talk about the need for criminal justice reform even if there is a case to made that could talk about it. But that could be said of literally any issue. Furthermore those issues are not independent of one another. For example people who are educated are less likely to go to jail regardless of race. That is a way to keep people out of jail even if it isn't the only way.

  37. The "democratic" party isn't going anywhere. The system is rigged from top to bottom and that includes it being rigged in favor of the 2 major parties. Even if it wasn't Trump existence would be plenty to sustain the opposition party for some time. They are not going anywhere anytime soon so I suggest you accept it and plan accordingly. To me this means that the party needs to be taken over and to do that we need a true progressive like Sanders to win the nomination in 2020.

  42. While I agree that this is a good thing and should be praised it is not nearly as meaningful as it would have been had her vote been meaningful... which it wasn't. I suspect that had she had the deciding vote and not a meaningless one it would have been different. Sadly we can't know for sure and I concede this is merely speculation.

He is already doing everything in his power to get media attention (it isn't his fault they are ignoring him). And "go out more," he was just fighting for workers rights at Walmart and protesting with them. So really, what the fuck are you talking about. Bernie has been killing it, doing everything right (his debate performance was a bit underwhelming, but still), and running a fucking great campaign. And you start your original comment with, "Bernie should adopt how trump campaigned" when Trump's campaign was a fucking disgrace based on fear and lies. And then you tell Bernie to do all the shit he's already doing. Clearly we are on the same team. We both want Bernie. I just think your original comment is fucking terrible. Peace.
