Of course she knew. The Post Office hired Second Sight to investigate and when Second Sight reported Horizon flaws to the P.O. they were sacked by the P.O.. Angela Van Den Bogerd who has already testified said as soon as she knew anything she would immediately make sure that Pauls Vennells knew too.

This is a misunderstanding. The issue is not the pension age rise for women but the inadequate notification of the changes.
13
Don't be silly.
12
I'd like to see Rod Liddle say 'get stuffed ' to a policeman. It would be entertaining to watch the consequence.
11
The compensation is not about the change in pension age or the years worked but about the inadequate notification of the age changes which did not allow women to prepare.

Harry's wealthy in his own right as he inherited millions from Diana and if he wants an independent private life away from the Royal family, and in another country, he can certainly afford to pay for his family's security. He can't have his cake and eat it, - have the financial support of the taxpayer without any of the duties that go with being a taxpayer funded Royal.Charles knows what the British public will put up with and what they won't and they won't want to support an ex Royal with taxpayer money. Meghan has a similar sense of entitlement and perhaps she thought Archie would secure the meal ticket.

I guess this theory arose because there are videos of female Israeli border guards who said they witnessed a build up of activity in Gaza near the Israeli border before October 7th. They reported this back to their headquarters many times but said they were ignored.
9
Even though Russia has been involved in the Syrian government's war against Islamic State in Syria?
8
How is it turning the UK into a prison? That's a bit of a myth. 99% of UK expenditure is controlled by the UK government. Recently Mark Rutte, P.M. of the Netherlands said no-one in the EU is now promoting the idea of a superstate or greater union.
8
It's a clickbait title
5
That's not the issue at all. The issue is the inadequate notification of the age change.
5
Reform would be worse. Maybe not on immigration but on everything else.
5
The right treats the working class as if they are easily duped.
5
I don't think her comments were anti-semitic. She was making the point that black people suffer more racism than other minority groups because of their colour which marks them out. In comparison she mentioned Jews and Irish people. It was rather stupidly phrased and she apologised swiftly, but Starmer has used it as an excuse to get rid of yet another left wing Labour MP. He didn't bother with the Irish aspect though.
4
What exactly will she be voting for? Does she know what Reform will do? Farage concentrates on criticism but doesn't give details on what he'd do.
4
@lizzie3094 His deal wasn't much different. He just accepted the EU offer of a border down the Irish Sea which she had rejected,
3
What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Israel attacks Gaza and the embassies of other countries using the excuse of the right to defend itself. It's not surprising if those countries that can also think they have a right to attack to defend themselves.
3
Isn't it anti British to be anti the BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation? We should be proud to have it. It is respected and well regarded all around the world.
3
The justice system is a weapon. It's a weapon for justice.
3
Would you have objected to having to wear a gas mask in WW2 issued by a Tory government? People were issued with those in case of gas bombs. Stop being a whinger. There are times when we just have to take measures to keep the country safe.
3
I don't think Basildon and Billericay constituency should allow themselves to be taken for granted.
3
The quality of the service goes down, the less money they have.
2
When he says 'We are not talking about the direct line of succession here', that seems incorrect because Charles was certainly in the firing line.
2
What are you alleging about him? It sounds like a bit of libel.
2
@barriewilliams4526 It's silly to assume a murderer would receive a very short sentence or be let out in a very short time.
2
It's the Brexiteers who are dissing the nation by destroying the economy and destroying the country's reputation internationally.
2
@ZenosOsgorma Well FYI 'spin the other foot' isn't found by a google search. I think you made that up. The shoe, or boot, is on the other foot does exist, but Brexiteers shooting themselves in the foot seems more apt to me.
2
@brencostigan Cases are what cause fatalities though. Cases are the spreaders.
2
People should always read the small print and also those charging such a service charge should be able to justify the size of it and tell you what to expect for it. I believe it's possible to take them to court or a tribunal if they seem to be overcharging. Flat owners would probably need to club together to do that.
2
Compensation is not about the age rise but about the inadequate notification of it.
2
He's been on the case for a long time. He just hasn't been in government so not able to change things but hopefully the next general election will bring him into government.
2
These journalists weren't concerned about injustice at the time, only what would sell newspapers and make money for their bosses and themselves. They're all very 'righteous' now though.
2
@alibobsmarland9572 If only problems with shoes were the worst of the Tory failures, we might still have an economy.
2
I'm afraid this is an example of people taking things into their own hands and that leads to chaos. I blame Dominic Cummings. He was seen to do what he damn well pleased regardless of the rules and he was allowed to do it. How you get elements of the general public to follow the rules after that is difficult.
2
Scottish This is not about the left wing. Trumpists in the USA also don't want to follow the rules. Look at members of the public in Florida saying that having to wear a mask is communism or the work of the devil and that masks kill people. Look at all the people in the UK flooding to the beaches and ignoring social distancing. It also comes from the top with Trump saying that people only wear masks as a sign that they are against him. wtf. In his mind it's all about him.
2
Distract us all with talk of illegal immigration. That will save Cummings won't it?
2
What exactly are you voting for? Farage is good at criticism (the easy bit) but doesn't say what he'd do about it. Have you not noticed that? Don't be fooled. Farage is in the game for his own benefit.
2
@Johnny-sj9sj I'm only repeating what Rod Liddle said. Not my fault if you don't find him amusing.
2
That's cancel culture.
2
@HYUKLDER1 But is the EU still pushing that?
2
@blaze1148 What would the over 75s watch then?
2
@blaze1148 'For some reason'. Yeah and the BBC is respected worldwide too. Silver surfers are not whingers who expect the BBC always to reflect their views. They know there are different views in the country and want to hear the debates and make their own minds up. They also look for independent facts.
2
Cancel Net Zero then sit back and watch the world slowly implode (and maybe not so slowly).
2
What was Jeremy Kyle's salary when he was exploiting people for entertainment purposes and also sometimes giving them or worsening their mental health problems. At least one killed himself. This divisive stuff about who earns more than who is crap. There will always be some differences in workers' pay, depending on things such as skills and strength of Unions. The fact is if their pay has been frozen or reduced in real terms over many years that's an unreasonable pressure on people, but top chiefs' pay and shareholder dividends (especially in the railway industry) always seems to increase more than inflation and ticket prices increase in line with RPI or more (the retail price index - an inflation linked index).
2
Pimlico plumbers are expensive - charge according to time spent on the job and spend much longer than the job requires in my experience. I don't believe that's down to individual plumbers. It's happened more than once and I've heard of it happening to others as if it's company policy.
2
@janicebirch7522 That's something you could campaign for if there was enough support. However it would probably be difficult and expensive to assess and keep on top of job. You'd probably need a whole department devoted to it like the tax office is devoted to tax affairs.
2
Reform is the voice of Farage, voice of the wealthy and business masquerading as the voice of the people.
1
I think they would have to get the permission of the freeholder to make such changes or the freeholder would be the one who needs to do it. Consult the lawyers.
1
Call something an 'establishment plot'. That's bound to get rightists and Brexiteers on Cummings side isn't it?
1
Why is a Kiwi thinking he's entitled to decide what the BBC should be like?
