So the PM and Chancellor of the exchequer have both been punished for breaking the law, probably less than they spend on a nightly bottle of wine. Remember the good old days when politicians used to resign for such indiscretions?

Apparently "Can't Priti Patel speak without a sly smirk on her face?" is worthy of censorship...

Congratulations to the media for wasting so much time and effort on this insignificant celebrity nonsense...

It could be something to do with the NHS being underfunded and starved of 100,000 staff due to poor working conditions and low pay. 1 in 10 Brits are on the NHS waiting list and so many of those who could have been cured, weren't seen in time.

I like the orange visibility stripes, that will stop aliens from running them over...

It's always nice to see which pawn of billionaires and corporations wins the illusionary democratic process in this debt-based system of resource mismanagement...
121
They should also be charged with non-payment of corporate taxation, misuse of people's data, and invasion of privacy to name but a few of their many flaws...

Don't worry about the criminals running the country. Go back to binge-watching your favourite show on Netflix. See if you can find an old show about Britain, you know when it had a backbone...

Surely a pandemic should make us reassess having a system that promotes profit over health, nutrition, education, biodiversity and global ecology. I'm no expect but shouldn't the heart of any system be human advancement, individual growth, resource optimisation, sustained living.

Humans beings: turning a paradise planet into hell on earth since around 35,000 years ago...

I for one am quite happy to go without food and heating to provide shareholders bumper profits and if the government want to make rules for us that do not apply to them, that's also fine with me. I know my place and I'd happily give my life to ensure multi-millionaires aren't deprived of luxury yachts and fast cars...
89
But hey! don't blame guns, he could have killed them all with a trifle and a dessert spoon...
86
Love the way the reporters have a smirk on their face, most people at home will join them. The ghost of his mate Jeffrey will surely be there to welcome him...
83
@metalicminer6231 I don't care too much that she's Indian who originally came to Britain from Uganda. The fact that she's a soulless cretin is my main problem with her.
76
Ring a ring of roses, A government full of posers. A-tishoo, a-tishoo, We all fall down...
75
I'm old enough to remember when we were only allowed one volcanic eruption per year globally...

That's just mean poor Trumpy. I love Trump because he's so mature and speaks so eloquently and cautiously. Always pays his taxes, he's never filed for corporations he owns to go bankrupt, always pays his workforce, and fights so very hard to provide Americans with healthcare. He always puts the US first before his own petty agenda. You wouldn't have to ask Trump 5 times to serve his country in war, he'd jump at the opportunity. He's extremely generous to his friends on Wall St. And his voice is reminiscent of angels descending from the heavens to bless your ears with humanity, compassion and decency...
59
Sorry, my incompetence, childlike entitlement and immense lack of professionalism cost so many paupers their lives. But I'm posh and protected by the media...
57
Tax multinational companies... That would be nice considering we pay for the infrastructure they exploit for their profits.
50
The day we shifted into a parallel dimension and the truth became optional...
50
The fossil fuel industry should compensate them for climate damage by arranging for a desalination plant and importing food...
47
The generosity of the British public is a thing of wonder, especially when you consider how they're bled dry by a corrupt government...
44
Branson doing his bit for Britain again, just like when he shafted the NHS!
43
I also used to love watching disaster movies from the 70s, now I get to see them in real life every day in this pantomime we call life...
41
It's really quite simple, it's called responsibility. Those responsible for launching the Satalite should clean up their mess... It's like asking How do we solve the problem of litter?...
40
I fail to see how the two are linked, oh wait, narrative, yes that's it...
38
lol at the people blaming electric cables and lasers. Hope they reach sentience someday...
37
Most tech these days has built-in obsolescence so that the devices fail within a certain time frame. It's all about profit at the cost of common sense and the environment.
35
The day we crawled into an alternative universe and truth became elusive...
34
Tories, Privatisation, Putin, North Sea Gas and oil down to 20 billion barrels, Tories, Monopolistic opportunism. Privatisation and Tories...
33
@sebastianguerre6868 Thank you for being the token Tory apologist. Takes a brave man to go against intellect, compassion, decency and integrity to make such a heroic statement...
33
An ex-banker as PM for a change...
33
lol good for her. Bet that stung the orange oligarch...
32
You should have had the decency to read the conversation. She told Lady Hussey at the start of the conversation that she didn't have records of her African ancestry. This was because her ancestors were transported to the Caribbean by the British monarchy possibly including Lady Hussey's ancestors. They didn't write a cargo manifest of the slaves they transported and so she couldn't answer the question. Then Lady Hussey kept pressing the point...
31
Having a Royal Family is like owning a really expensive breed of dog that only eats gold, can't do any tricks, has an expensive medical condition due to inbreeding, barks and growls at you when you approach and then sh!ts all over your house... and lives for centuries...
31
Johnson couldn't even manage to fling a custard pie in his own face, he'd miss. I think you're being a bit hard on clowns to be fair.
31
Oh, the injustice of righteous justice - lock him up - throw away the key - never mention the orange oligarch again...
30
Good job, pity more dogs don't work for a living instead of sitting around the house begging for treats all day. Unemployment in the dog community is over 95% it's about time we put these freeloading cuddle monkeys to work!
30
Stop trying to look like ducks, fake beauty is not beauty. It's your body and your choice but many men just find it off-putting...
27
Boris has pulled out? Bet Carrie was relieved...
27
The oil industry risking the local ecosystem and population for profit? Surely not...
25
Before you feel superior, look at recent legislation from the Tories...
25
The petrodollar has left the building...
25
Corruption in government is a terrible thing, but enough about the UK. What's going on in Peru?
25
Go directly to jail, do not pass go. Let him rot.
25
We don't call them loan sharks anymore, we simply call them banks!
25
@metalicminer6231 Agreed on that point, journalists and bankers who got their jobs through nepotism and then moved into politics. It's heading towards a dystopian corporatocracy.
24
The taxpayer bailed out HSBC in 2008, who is collateral for the billions of debt that sunk the SVB? When a bank fails that money goes somewhere!
24
Imagine living in a country that enforces leaders on its people, makes protesting illegal and forces its citizens to live in poverty. Move to the UK and you can have all those things!
24
I've had my jabs, I agree with quarantines as the best way to stop the spread of a virus. But I also support the right to free speech and the right to protest.
