@EngrzView Agreed, I just love the way the Tories have always done their best for Britain and its citizens. Every decision they make is carefully considered to provide the best opportunities for the Brtish people especially the poor, vulnerable and disabled. They always do their utmost to help the elderly, especially during the winter and provide safe care homes for them in which to spend their final years. They never abuse their power by selling Britain out to the highest bidder, they never give their donors and friends overpriced contracts at the taxpayer's expense. They are the most moral, dependable servants of the country and always put everyone else above their own interests. It's indeed a pleasure and a privilege to be governed by such altruistic, philanthropic humanitarians, with such integrity, compassion and honour. Long live our inspiring Etonian overlords and their wealthy corporate handlers...

US support of Israel's unholy war led to this. No doubt military aid regarding the recent attack in Syria. Also the UK's and US's support by attacking what's left of the Yemonese people who are trying to provide aid to Palestinians...
22
I hope they manage to get all the opium and lithium out in time...
22
Worked back in the 70s. As kids we'd be happy to gather the bottles and take them to the shops, most adults would let you keep the money for sweets. Win-win :)
22
Awesome, now I can sleep soundly at night knowing Bumblebees play with balls for fun. I heard Unicorns like a good game of scrabble after a few glasses of cider...

@gavsterlegrand6488 I just watched the actual footage of the explosion the car was still moving pulling up to the hospital when the bomb went off, after the explosion, the car stopped and the driver then exited the vehicle and ran towards the safety of the hospital entrance. The explosion was just a massive puff of smoke, and the car then caught fire 45 seconds later... What do terrorists have against a gynaecology hospital? Why use a taxi? Why explode the bomb when the car was still moving? Why not choose a different route to the Cenotaph if that was the original target? Why are some saying detonator malfunction, others saying timed to go off at 11? Why if timed to go off at 11 was the incident several minutes before 11? Why is it that the terrorists have only taken the spotlight off the Tories?

We certainly won't miss their tax contribution, or lack of... So I suggest Brits boycott them and allow a more ethical online retailer to take over...
22
A long time to think about his life of privilege and corruption in a small dark cell...
22
They Labeled the leader of the Labour party Corbyn and all his fellow cabinet and supporters, hard left, extreme left and far-left... and characterized him as a Communist. I mean seriously dude you don't think years of character assassination is enough?
22
I remember when Earthquakes, floods and wildfires had the decency to be infrequent in their carnage on the world. Now it seems they're just ganging up on us...
21
The economy is flourishing thanks to all the extra trade deals and good faith we've built up on the global stage... If only, we've lost trillions...
21
Most expensive joke in the history of mankind is capitalism. It cost us the Earth...

@chrisolagrim3597 Defecating cognitive diarrhoea on social media isn't a good look. We've lost 65% of genetic diversity at 1,000 times the natural rate of extinction and icemelt causing the ocean to rise is swallowing up the coastline of many countries. Isn't it more likely that the billionaires who caused this are feeding you propaganda so you don't realise they caused it?
20
That's a relief, I was concerned but now they said they wouldn't I'm happy. I'm just glad the megalomaniacs leading countries are so trustworthy and honest...
20
I seen a FIAT falling off a cliff earlier today...
19
@stephenosunkeye9730 Adults talking. Taxes on cigarettes net around 10 billion per annum in the UK. That's around 1/8th of the NHS budget... Smokers pay for themselves, try again...
18
King of archaic feudal Britain where the subjects can't afford to heat their homes or even buy food. We aren't suffering a cost-of-living crisis we are suffering a cost-of-economic-vampires crisis...
18
How about supermarkets stocking fresh food instead of sweaty fruit and veg with a short shelf life? How about feeding those who are forced to use foodbanks? How about admitting capitalism is the worst system of resource management ever invented?
18
Yes, I do feel for them, but what about the poor mercenary contractors, opioid suppliers, construction companies, arms manufacturers, oil companies, specialists, lithium and gold mining corporations, bankers and greedy politicians who have to find another country to loot? Look out Iran...
18
Such a huge loss to all the families affected. Over 200 mass shootings in the US this year so far and no sign of gun controls being changed. Time to stand up to the gun lobby and stop crying about your right to bear arms, you should be more concerned about the right to bring up your children in a safe environment...
17
I wonder which of these seemingly insignificant escalations between different countries will start a global conflict, answers on a postcard!
17
Absolute joke of a country. We have more corruption and poverty these days than in most African states. Things are getting that desperate I'm thinking of starting a campaign to beg Ethiopia to hold a rock concert for us...
17
I never worry about having a period at a festival, because I don't have ovaries. Maybe this story isn't meant for me...
16
@kendallbald God :)
16
Still making children pay for the mistakes of adults? what a tragically weak society. Lost in ego and religious zealotry...
15
You gotta start working on your humanity...
15
Good, love to see that repeated globally.
15
These migrant boats seem to get very fragile near the coasts of Europe...
15
US children paying the price for the ignorance of their parents, the right to bear arms against your government is pointless when they have nuclear weapons and biological warfare...
15
TheMetalGuy852 Go cry somewhere else, the kid took a rifle to a protest. And no there's no point in replying to me as I have heard it all before and seen the footage of the incident myself. He threatened people and they tried to defend themselves by closing in on him.
14
It's called polarisation and the media are responsible. BBC included!
14
Of course, the main difference between Kim and Boris Johnson is hair colouring...
13
@T5Zplayer I didn't mention the USA as we are only discussing the UK branch. Your ability to misinterpret sentences is unparalleled. My point is that HSBC was bailed out by the taxpayer who is now at risk of being used as collateral for the billions of debt racked up by SVB, at least the SVB UK portion. If this goes wrong the taxpayer may be subject to another bailout. Taxpayer money is for infrastructure and public services, not a guarantee for shareholders and corporations. Taxpayers do not get any of the profits but are liable for the losses of bankers... Money doesn't cease to exist, someone always profits from bankruptcy. Finance is a farce that enables a tiny minority to own and control the vast majority of global resources, while the majority struggle to survive!
13
@lauras3554 "Britain's involvement in the transatlantic slave trade officially began, with royal approval, in 1663. In less than 150 years, Britain was responsible for transporting millions of enslaved Africans to colonies in the Americas, where men, women and children were forced to work on plantations and denied basic rights." Please learn your own history before speaking to a fellow Brit who knows all of it!
13
Poor thing was just trying to get away from all the plastic and pollution and they forced him back into the ocean...
13
lol people will put up with any regressive taxes or strict legislation, lose in a game of soccer and all bets are off. Humans are curiously strange...
13
We now have anti-truth and illusions in place of reality...
13
@metalicminer6231 Pakistan was part of India during the colonisation by the British Empire, the natural resources of India had been looted, then in 1947 the country was split into India which was predominantly Hindu, and Pakistan which was predominantly Muslim. In 1943 Winston Churchill's policies led to the Bengal famine which caused the death of 2-3 million Indians. We are completely to blame for India's poverty and many of its social issues.
12
@Sweetrose333 Yes, I suffer from late-stage terminal sarcasm. I also enjoy serf-ing on my days off ;)
12
Flown in from the states to cry on the BBC... Shows the mentality of these people...
12
lol why can't people read the basic story before commenting? She told Lady Hussey at the start of the conversation that she didn't have records of her African ancestry. This was because her ancestors were transported to the Caribbean by the British monarchy possibly by Lady Hussey's ancestors. They didn't write a cargo manifest of the slaves they transported and so she couldn't answer the question. Then Lady Hussey kept pressing the point...
12
She didn't know where her ancestors came from as she told Hussey at the start of the conversation. Because Hussey's ancestors didn't write that on the cargo manifest when they transported her ancestors to the Caribbean as slaves...
12
In other news: I once had a pet hamster named honey. She was lovely and I used to watch her running on her wheel and taking drinks from her water bottle. But one day she died so we put her in a trifle box and buried her in the rockery. The End.
12
Yes, it's so wonderful to see our new King, can't wait to bow down and doff my cap to his Royal Heinous. I'll be forelock tugging all day as I'm so happy to still be a subject of a feudal system and therefore essentially a serf. God save our King and those wonderful upper-class Tories whose philanthropy is unmatched. I only wish I could bow and scrape all the time but I have to work 23 hours a day to pay for my electricity...
12
@metalicminer6231 lol I can't argue with stupid. Ignore history and claim books don't exist if you like. I've already given you a brief summary, there are thousands of books on the subject including texts from the time.
11
@analogdistortion Tories cut funding to renewable sources of energy which is why we're in this mess. Not to mention selling off nationalised energy and allowing a consortium to take over and hike prices. Lefties use facts and knowledge...
11
Everything that happened before 9/11 no matter how disturbing used to make sense in some way. Now nothing has to make sense in this crazy pantomime we call life...
11
He should still go and take the consort with him, they know how to treat royalty in France...
11
I know what's going to happen. We are heading towards a dystopian corporatocracy with fascist tendencies and Orwellian invasions of freedom.
11
They keep manifesting their destiny in the wrong way. Thoughts and prayers should be replaced by tighter gun controls. America has 1.2 guns per person...
