A woman who like most Tory MPs has all the compassion of Fred West working on his patio...

Richard Sharp is Chairman of the BBC, he has donated over £400,000 to the Tories and was an advisor to Boris Johnson when he was Mayor of London. Robbie Gibb has been an aide to two Tory MPs and was Theresa May's director of communications, he is now a board member at the BBC. Tory donor Catherine Baxendale is on the panel to pick board members at the BBC and Tim Davie who is the boss at the BBC was a Tory candidate. Just saying...

In Britain, they came first for the Socialists and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Socialist. Then they came for the Miner's Union and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Miner. Then they came for the Rail worker's union and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Rail worker. Then they came for the Nurse's union and I didn't speak up because I was a factory worker. Then they came for me--and by that time no one was left to speak up...

It's surprising how much Nadine loves the man. I mean Boris the man who was born with a silver foot in his mouth. He has the backbone of a chocolate éclair, the IQ of a crack-addicted hamster and all the charisma of a used tissue. The only man, who after selling his soul had to give the Devil a refund... in roubles.

Yes, it sounds excessive but what you have to remember is that trying to make a demon look human is very expensive!

The main thing I like about Jacob is that he's so down to earth, the type of man who does his own DIY. A man's man who understands the struggles of the poor. I'd say more but I suffer from later-stage terminal sarcasm...

Give nurses a pay rise, and give Tories the boot. Rishi is just a placeholder, bland enough to survive a few weeks. I was surprised to see a nurse at the checkout the other day being refused service when trying to pay for her groceries with claps...
87
It's not like the BBC has a history of this sort of thing... (Yes, that is sarcastic and sardonic)
84
What is it with Tories, exTory candidates and their supporters that they do something intentionally with full knowledge, often deceptively and then think an apology excuses their conscious decision? Even children grow out of that kind of behaviour at an early age...
79
She is obviously scared of it happening. Celts should all leave Toryland. Saor Alba! - Tiocfaidh ár lá! - Annibyniaeth I Gymru!
77
I can't wait until people finally work out that poverty and wealth are inversely proportionately inextricably linked and take back power from these semi-sentient humanity vacuums... You don't need a university degree to become an investment banker, just a basic understanding of maths, a lack of empathy, an ego the size of a house and a willingness to risk other people's money... Oh and a loan from the taxpayer when you lose all their hard-earned money!
70
Not sure who said it but still makes laugh: Farage the Alan Partridge of fascism.
69
To be fair, analysing the words and thoughts of Nadine Dorries is like trying to teach a whale to fly. There is no logic, reason, intellect, sanity, consistency, or humanity in anything that woman says!
55
Imagine how much she spends on illusions to hide her horns, pointed teeth, bat wings and spiked tail...
55
Funny, Tories usually wait until the cameras are switched off to laugh at the public. 13 years of Tories laughing while they lighten our wallets all because of the media and the gullibility of a large section of the workforce...
52
So apart from the pandemic, healthcare, schooling, the economy, energy crisis, and cost of living crisis they can also make a clusterfk of national security? wow just wow... Are they reading a book named 'All the things not to do in government and how to sink your own economy'?
50
'Special advisor' to Boris... She must have been real 'special' to deserve that kind of honour...
49
Rishi is the reverse Robin Hood and will wield austerity like it's a feckin' superpower...
49
Tories are masters of creating problems that cost lots of resources to resolve via some convoluted and cruel solution while ignoring more obvious and cheaper solutions.
49
The main thing I like about democracy is that it ensures we always get the most qualified leaders who are the best of British... With these three caring, philanthropic humanitarians it's really hard to decide which one to pick, I'm sure they'll all continue to elevate Britain on the world stage and protect the poor from the cost of living crisis. In exactly the same way they protected care home residents during the pandemic...

Offtopic: Yesterday I called a Tory MP inhumane and was told by one commenter that I was using the "language of evil". While another commenter alluded to a certain camp doctor (Josef) from the 40s and said that word should be reserved for people like that. Inhumane means cruel, causing suffering and without compassion. Those words describe many Tory policies and attitudes. These two commenters made it clear that my use of the word inhumane was unacceptable in their eyes. I don't believe in censorship, it reduces our capacity to oppose and drives the far right into echo chambers where they proliferate unchallenged. In my 50 years of life, I've seen things go from bad to worse while in more recent history the rise of the far right has become a severe problem globally. When we don't show our abhorrence to economic euthanasia or excess deaths directly linked to cuts. We normalise/enable this behaviour with our lack of opposition. It's pointless to politely explain to the Tories what they are doing is wrong. It's about as much use as an ashtray on the international space station. They already know, they are corrupt, they manipulate the system and the media to protect themselves. They are profiteering while shortening the lives of our families and loved ones. They use censorship to prevent our abhorrence of their policies being shared. This has led to the rise of the right and the neutering of the left at a time when the Overton window is being forced further to the right. We have a proud history in this country of heroes who gave their lives for the rights the Tories are now taking away with legislation. They didn't make the ultimate sacrifice so their progeny could apathetically enable the Tory agenda while binge-watching Netflix and finding things to be offended by on social media. Be offended by actions that cost lives and immense suffering, not the justified abhorrence and anger of decent people. Please don't force the silence of the censor your allies to protect the Tories from words which accurately describe their policies and attitudes. That enables the further erosion of our humanity to protect the ideals of polite discourse. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction, unless there is no opposing force. Thank you for taking the time to read this fully.

The Tory cabinet is like one of those old MFI cabinets, far too expensive, plenty of screws missing, hard to assemble, weak and wobbly and falls apart after limited use...
42
If you cheat the nation and get caught you'd be lucky not to be prosecuted, entitled rich people moaning because their criminality is being talked about... Jebus - what a world...
42
You can't expect Tory MPs to follow the rules, and suffer the indignities and everyday annoyances like the rest of us! Tory MPs are special and deserve every luxury our poverty can provide them!
39
A Tory behaving irresponsibly is no more surprising than the wind blowing or the sun shining. You know it was that cold in London last week I actually saw a Tory MP with his hands in his own pockets...
39
If the Tories thought they could get away with it they'd treat us all like this. When we allow them to dehumanize innocents, we allow them to set the boundaries for our own future treatment.
38
She should have stopped after the first 3 words "I don't think" as that would have been the only honest thing she's ever said.
37
The poor are trapped in a room with no oxygen while the Tories pump in the laughing gas from the golden, diamond-encrusted saferoom next door...
36
I hope it's nothing trivial...
35
I don't approve of political jokes; I have seen too many of them get elected...
35
I support striking workers, and I understand the cost of privatising rail networks to the public in constant bailouts, grants, subsidies, tax breaks etc. Renationalise our infrastructure - Transport, communications, energy, water, mail...
35
As Arthur C Clarke once said “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” I think that just about sums it up.
34
Backhanders and promises to their donors are the only pledges Tories keep. While they have nothing but contempt for the public, the law and parliamentary procedure...
34
My sincere apologies to the Afghans who suffered as a result of the invasion and especially to those who helped us at great risk to themselves and their families who were abandoned by our heartless government.
33
He's called 30p Lee and coincidentally that's how much he sold his soul for...
32
Yes, but to be fair, Brexit has only cost us a few £trillion, our prestige, standards, morals and trading relations. While polarising the nation, risking the GFA, risking the Union, breaking international law and leaving a sizeable debt for our great-grandchildren. It's not that bad!
32
30+ years of highlighting this issue and all we have is the COP 27 talking shop to give the impression that world leaders care while they continue to pollute and profit from the possible extinction of the species. It's not like this only affects a small group of people, we are all tied to the catastrophic incompetence of politicians and corporations to ensure the future of the next generation...
31
Cheers, Tim and agreed regarding politicians offering their agendas via highly suspicious platforms. However, while most people never question what they're told the onus should be on the media to provide accurate and well-analysed, impartial information. We need plurality in the media and healthy scepticism in the electorate. Occam's razor and Cartesian doubt should also be used on the big picture.
30
There are three types of Conservative MP - The Despicable, The Loathsome and The Abhorrent although many seem to manage to be all three.
29
The gravy train (pun intended) has ended for the Tory donors, mates and contractor shareholders. The middle Englanders and those on the outskirts of London have what they want and have fleeced the taxpayer out of far more than they expected. I'm sure the North will remember!
28
This has exposed the abhorrent cruelty of the Tories, the bias of the media and the simple fact that solidarity can challenge those in power.
28
She may be right but her voting history and previous statements about the country prove her to be an inhumane opportunist. All vanity projects should be stopped until British people can feed themselves and heat their homes. Esther should have stuck to daytime TV where she had a modicum of respect and admiration.
28
Malevolence on behalf of Israel and its Ambassadors. Like a cat playing with a mouse, it enjoys the sport and is not interested in letting it go. It's been doing so with ever more power for around 75 years.
28
GBNews; that bastion of integrity, intelligence, plurality and decency. Good man Tim for standing up to GBNews and Braverman, I agree wholeheartedly with this video!
27
The top 10 things I love about Matt Hancock. . . . . . . . . . .
26
He works harder than most MPs and is well supported and liked by his constituents - even those who do not support his socialist policies. Your comment smacks of ignorance and a lack of research...
26
If he appointed the wrong ministers then he is to blame for the appointments as leader. His failings are not limited to the fact that he has all the charm of a public toilet and all the integrity of someone who has never known poverty or struggle...
26
I'm sure there are worse people in Dante's ninth circle, but not by much. Life is becoming evermore a divine comedy...
25
I've seen more compassion from a hungry Lion towards a Gazelle than Tory policy shows. Lineker posted a balanced and fair comment and the BBC and the Tories have tried to demonize him for his compassion. There are a plethora of other parallels involving recent legislation that backs up Lineker's analogy.
25
Having to see or hear Matt Hancock early in the morning is akin to Edward Scissorhands offering to scratch your back...
