Fash gonna fash... The irony of their behaviour and their cognitive dissonance forever elusive to their understanding...

I can only say how proud I am of our government which has fixed our economy, levelled the playing field and held the NHS funding as sacred. At the same time as lifting our international respect and prestige to new levels on the world stage. Wonderful philanthropic Tory MPs who constantly put the British public first and are consistently looking for ways to improve the lives of all Brits. I feel so privileged to be part of a country that upholds national and international law while protecting the right of its citizens...

I agree with much of what Tim says, The NHS budget is being drained via outsourcing, privatisation and by prioritizing for-profit organisations within the NHS. This creates a huge drain on resources and massive amounts of bureaucracy and administration further slowing down the timeframe and effectiveness of treatment. Our taxmoney is being siphoned off by profiteering in the NHS, which is not the model Nye Bevan fought so hard to provide.

This reminds me. Tory MPs who break the ministerial code should face the punishment of being placed in stocks in the street so the public can throw rotten fruit and veg at them. But in Raab's case I think tins of fruit and veg should be allowed...

It was bitter irony in response to 30p Lee's tweet. She was using his words to illuminate how callous his sentiment was. The fact that we take her words at face value and tar her with the same brush as 30p Lee is a travesty of context and a sad indictment on the media and British people.

I think it's terrible that a show with such dignity and respect is now being dragged down by second-rate politicians...
23
I'm glad Priti Patel spoke up as she's such a reasonable, morally sound beacon of humanity and justice. Such a virtuous, noble, principled and honest humanitarian and her incorruptibility and just ideals are legendary...
23
The main thing I like about Nadine is how well she hides her horns and cloven-hoofed feet...

Thank you for this message Tim. Most people like myself use the 'wealthy' as a generalisation. But in truth, it's the ideology and the callous nature of the 'I'm alright jack brigage' that infuriates us. It's not envy but self-preservation that drives us and we are all fully aware of people who are comfortably off who fight for the rest of us. I respect people like yourself and people like Corbyn all the more for coming from a wealthy background but dedicating time to fight for minorities and the disadvantaged.

She's about as relevant as Mr Blobby's tailor... She'll be remembered for breaking the Guinness world record for the fastest crashing of a leading economy...

If what you don't know can't hurt you, then Matt Hancock is practically invulnerable...
22
Strange to have a Tory MP who is incompetent and ill-equipped for her role, I bet that doesn't happen through nepotism and cronyism often in the Tory party...
21
Tories don't suffer legal consequences or scrutiny from the media and therefore don't need to understand how their misrepresentations and lack of knowledge affect poor folk...

He is not only dull himself; he is the cause of dullness in others...

It's well known that sharks won't attack Tories; professional courtesy...

Rishi is too embarrassed to meet his fellow global leaders. If you were the most unpopular kid at school, would you want to go to the school reunion?

Take solace in the fact that despite all her bile she can't win over her peers and is still not accepted by her party and remains an outsider. She no doubt cries into a bottle of wine every night trying to get to sleep as what's left of her soul desperately tries to escape her mortal coil...

People need to understand that the UNCHR includes the right not to be sexually abused, tortured, or discriminated against, the right to healthcare, freedom of speech, and the right to legal access. This underpins society and the only type of government that would consider leaving this convention could only be considered fash is mmmmm...

If only we could find the object that ties Priti Patel to the waking world and then destroy it. In so doing send her back to the underworld from whence she was spawned...

Humanising a narcissistic incompetent responsible for so much suffering and cronyism makes me physically sick. Stick him in a care home over the winter and see how he holds up!

@markbriten6999 Exactly it's a reworking of a poetic form of a 1946 post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller.
18
People protesting peacefully against fash-is-ermm on a day that commemorates people who fought against fash-is-ermm. To most Brits who are protesting this has nothing to do with religion and is about standing up to a brutal regime. Those counter-protesting seem to be missing the point and as usual are clashing with police, just out for a fight and easily manipulated by people like Braverman.

Ironic, that being the year the Balfour declaration was signed and the future of Palestine was destined to change forever...

I've found the holy grail - Brexit benefits: It helped uncover shadowy groups such as the E-R-G. Has shown how good we had it under the EU. Shows how flawed the system is. Shows how data mining the public helps to steer and manipulate them to vote against their own interests. And has also shown how important the lack of transparency on our overseas territories are to the money men...

The world is in a very similar state to how it was 80 years ago. The same types rising to power globally on the back of lies and hate. Never forget?

All those trees tirelessly producing oxygen for him, I think he owes them an apology...

"Suella braverman’s backlog" That's a phrase I hoped never to hear in my lifetime or ever conjure in my mind... Security risk last week in charge of national security this week.
17
If we condemn Hamas for standing up against Israel, we must then condemn the Jewish Resistance movement that stood up to the Nat-Cs. I will never condemn those fighting to free themselves from oppression, no matter how much I deplore the violence.

A home secretary who is a national security risk. A recent female PM who was hacked by Russian agents. An ex-PM who befriends ExKGB and parties with the son of a Russian Oligarch who was close to Putin's inner circle. Multiple Tory MPs have vested interests via the conservative "Friends of Russia" and holiday abroad as guests of known Russian assets. The point that wealthy people internationally work together to profit from the masses while showing little interest in their own country's wealth and security should be a dire warning to anyone interested in geopolitics.

I do like Joe but I hope he hasn't joined the Bullingdon club. Giving it to a kid's soccer team would probably be more appropriate, if not a children's charity.

Good! and now for something completely different. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am Inequality, I do not sleep. I am ten million workers on wages low, Trudging to work through freezing snow. I am the sun that burns as you harvest grain, The autumn rain that soaks your pain. When you wake in morning and to work you rush, I am the depressed commuter against whom you brush. The dead-eyed citizens you circle in fright, That cry over debt; and can't sleep at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I do not care for cowering sheep. (Do not stand at my grave and cry, unless you oppose me, I will never die!) Rework of the famous Mary Elizabeth Frye poem.

During Austerity the top wealthiest families in Britain doubled their assets. It's almost as if there is a tangible proportionate connection between poverty and wealth...

Hate begets hate...

Why is it that these no-win questions are always asked of Corbyn? He supports Palestinians and deplores the apartheid state of Israel, the illegal nuclear power and their authoritarian attitude and 70-year reign of terror. Not to mention their control of Western politics through lobbyists. He has always condemned violence but refuses to openly denounce the plight of the desperate who have little options to strike back at their oppressors. I don't support violence against Israel or violence against the Palestinians, but I won't condemn the Palestinians for trying to preserve what's left of their homeland and people.

So they will continue to be shackled to Tory corporatocracy like the rest of us, what a shame. If Scotland chooses to ditch the aristocratic kleptocrats in Westminster then that is their affair, give them the opportunity with a second referendum. Denying them that opportunity is wrong. They deserve self-determination if they so choose. Things have changed immeasurably since 2014...

The fable here is that OFCOM is a regulator. I sincerely hope the hare loses the race, but my optimism is quenched by realism. GBNews should be renamed Pinocchio's nose...
15
Agreed, He doesn't challenge Tories enough on their misinformation and bullying, yet goes full tilt at other benches for lesser offences.
15
Tories use statistics and facts like a drunk uses lamp-posts, for support rather than illumination. (Adapted from a quote)
15
How many resignations does it take before a Tory is benched permanently these days? it seems infinite...
15
The only way to look at what the Tories are doing is to ignore the tabloid perception and Tory PR and just analyse the information. Who benefits? Does this effectively challenge the problem? Is this related to other recent stories? what are the consequences? When we answer these questions we inevitably realise that the truth is often the polar opposite of what is actually suggested. Thanks for the vid Tim!

Banning books is seriously backward, changing books is also a sign of a regressive civilisation. Times change and we shouldn't ban or edit books because they have old-fashioned views in them, in the same way, we shouldn't ban or edit books that feature new concepts or demographical changes regarding sexuality and gender. Books are living records of the past and present, they should remain unchanged and available to those who wish to read them.

When competence is judged by the ability to communicate effectively with other human beings without offending them... A skill social animals like humans learn from an early age unless they are brought up in a bubble of privilege. But let's congratulate the Royals who have the ability to put these basic skills into practice. doffs cap tugs forelock

I keep making up words as I shout at the screen when I read a new story about Tory corruption, usually expletives. I think I'm suffering from Toryettes syndrome...

This may be filtered, i suspect it will be. The huge increase over the past few decades in migrants and asylum seekers is our own fault for supporting wars to protect petrodollar hegemony. "Libya was a socialist-style country they used 'The Green System'. Gaddafi was essentially just a figurehead because he'd fought US imperialism all his life and was respected. Libya had no IMF debt, no international debt. Libya had $150 billion in reserves, 143 tons of gold and a similar amount of silver. Libya also created the world's largest irrigation project. Having a house was a human right, each Libyan had a share in the country's 50 billion barrels of oil and petrol was $0.14 per litre. Then Libya decided to create an African currency 'The Dinar' to challenge the petrodollar for oil sales in Africa and the Middle East. Many countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria all dropped the petrodollar for oil sales. America's reaction wasn't to legitimately compete in a capitalist system, they chose to invade to enforce regime change and to loot Libya's gold, precious metals and oil. US Capitalism brought human trafficking and slavery to Libya and caused the death and migration of millions." This is an oversimplification as the whole debate around these separate invasions and regime changes would take several books to cover.

One glaringly obvious interjection If I may be so bold - Rees-Mogg and the phrase 'working day' should never be used in the same sentence...
14
Armed security assaulting people who are praying is a symptom of a brutal regime. If only an historical example was available...
14
They demonstrate nothing of the sort, they demonstrate a narrative that is clearly worked out in advance regardless of their individual levels of knowledge. Their pantomime is entirely intentional.

I can't watch it, it makes my blood boil. It's like having Fred West on blind date with Cilla smiling and introducing him to the girls...
