@jgalt308 No evidence of what?
Oh, also:
1) You wouldn't use an ellipses in that instance.
And,
2) The "( again )" goes inside the period, without spaces.
Like this; "You are DISMISSED (again)."
Or, removing the parenthesis and adding a comma after"dismissed" would also be appropriate.
Like this; "You are DISMISSED, again."
Get out of the basement, and off the deserted-island of your mind, sweetie.
You better be back on the side of the working-class majority, before the uprising against the wealthy-class minority begins, and the working-class finds out you're class-traitor.
The really wealthy people usually do okay when the uprisings happen. But fake wealthy-class people like you? Not so much.
I'm non-violent, but there are plenty of working-class people who aren't.
Mommy, daddy, and I can't protect you forever, hon.

@jgalt308 -- I just wrote so much, though, without mistakes, unlike you, and with better, consistent formatting.
Are you an example of meritocracy at work?
I would say your writing, alone, is a fine example of how the wealthy-class plan to dumb-down the working-class has been successful.
The same way the wealthy-class kept Tommy and Candy's ancestors dumbed-down on purpose, the wealthy-class has perpetrated the same scheme on you and on countless other working-class traitors, right-wing apologists just like you.
I mean, look at the garbage you produce -- skipping the content of your incoherent ramblings -- the inconsistency of your spelling, grammar, and mechanics.
And calling people dismissed? That's the language of intellectual-dwarfs.
I don't need you to dismiss me, or not, nor would you be able to force me.
If it wasn't such an easy, yet, evidently, fruitless endeavor, and if you weren't so boring, I would engage further just to keep you occupied so you weren't out spewing wealthy-class propaganda to other working-class folks who have been dumbed-down like you.
You're a literal product of the slave-owning wealthy-class, and no matter what, you'll always be their slave.
You're either an actual child or you're an intellectual-child trapped in an adult-sized body.
I just wonder if your parents had any other kids who managed to live.

@thedeepratter2454
No, That's not true.
What freedom do you want? To be able to exploit other humans for their labor, so you can then procreate lucky-offspring to pass your exploitative ways on to?
What prospering do you want? To have more trinkets and gadgets than other people, so you can trick them into creating more trinkets and gadgets for you and your pollutant lucky-offspring?
Riiight. Your brand of prosperous-freedom sounds tremendous. The best freedom. The strongest freedom. No one has ever come up with better freedom. Believe you, right?
In slavery, feudalism, and capitalism: A minority of lucky and exploitative people have the security of everything they need, and much of what they want, because the majority of the people do all the work.
In slavery, feudalism, and capitalism: A majority of people don't have the security of everything they need, and little to nothing of what they want, because a minority of lucky exploiters steal the access of the labor-benefits. These access labor benefits which are created on the backs of the majority are called profits. Even though the majority create profits, the minority keeps those profits. That is theft by the minority of the majority. Just like in American-slavery, the majority-blacks did all the manual labor and production while the minority-whites did no manual labor or production.
Under capitalism, a minority of lucky-exploiters have everything they need, while the majority of people struggle to achieve everything they need. Then, the lucky minority of exploiters take all of the excess labor benefits (profits) away from the majority who created them. Then the lucky-exploiters use the profits to manipulate the majority of people into creating the things that the minority wants. The majority of people who are struggling to achieve their own necessities have no choice but to work for the lucky-exploiters. The lucky-exploiters also use the profits to infiltrate every aspect of human life. The minority of lucky-exploiters infiltrate the government and make laws to benefit the wealthy-class, and laws to degrade the working-class. The lucky, wealthy-class exploiters create Ponzi-like schemes, such as the stock market, hedge funds, and private equity firms which they use to further solidify their roles as masters, owners, and oppressors of the working-class.
Masters exploit the slaves.
Lords exploit the serfs.
Employers exploit the employees.
Wealthy exploit the poor.
Non-workers exploit the workers.
Socialism doesn't agree with any of that kind of inequality-driven tyranny.
In better countries, the working-class majority have realized their power and they have banded together against the lucky, exploitive, rapacious, lazy, mentally-ill minority of non-working, wealthy-class masters, lords, and employers.
One half-way decent thing the wealthy exploiters have done is, they have made a place for people who don't want to abide by their system. They call it a prison.
In better countries, where the egalitarian-workers have banded together to defeat the totalitarian-owners, they have put those totalitarian-owners into those prisons.
If you don't like equality -- if you think you have a right to live a better life than any other person, while most people do all the work and you do less or no work -- there are countries where you can go.
Make sure you go to the right country though, lest you end up in a better country where they put the lazy minority-exploiters and their ignorant-henchmen into cages.
Slavery is little-different than capitalism. There are a few lucky and exploitative owners and employers who do no production-work and create no value. Those people are mentally ill due to their addictions to materialism, social-status, easy-living, and power. Then there are many unlucky and exploited slaves and employees who do all of the production-work and create all of the value. Some of these slave-workers are enamored by the addictions of their owner-employers and will do anything to become exploiters too.
Every group of working-class slaves has their class-traitors who will turn against their fellow-slaves for a few extra crumbs. News flash; the wealthy-class don't hang out in the comments section on Youtube. They pay working-class slaves to do it for them. Maybe that's you.
The wealthy need the workers, or the wealthy would have to become the workers.
The workers don't need the wealthy, because the workers would still produce food clothes and shelter without the wealthy exploiting and lording over them.
The lucky exploiters in the wealthy-class would have nothing without workers to exploit.
What's saddest is that you have more in common with the exploited working-class than you do with the wealthy-class who exploit your labor and your ignorance. I just wonder if you're an ignorant or a sympathetic Uncle-Tom.
Slavery is unfair exploitation for many people and unmatched prosperity for a few people.
Feudalism is exploitation for the many and prosperity for the few.
Capitalism is exploitation for the many and prosperity for the few.
Socialism is equality for all.
If you don't like it -- if you don't like democracy and community -- if you don't want to be a part of the group, I am sure you have gone through some past-traumas which would explain it.
If you don't want to be a member of an egalitarian social group, then I'm sure that there is a cage somewhere with your name on it.
I, personally, don't believe in caging humans. I believe there are better ways to deal with your kind. But I know there are compatriots within my ideological-ranks who believe in caging humans, and worse. Just like there are people within your ideological-ranks who believe in doing terrible things to humans who fight against exploitation.
Hopefully, for you and any of your innocent-aged procreated-polluters, it never comes to that.
The only society which will prosper "forever" is based on the freedom of all people to not be exploited by others -- a society based on equality of outputs performed, on equality of opportunities provided, and on equality of outcomes produced.
I and most of the working-class people across the country and around the world are already passed the brand of 'prosperous-freedom' which you promote. The ruse is up.
Nice try, though.

I own a business.
I raised my prices last year, but I didn't need to.
I didn't incur any additional costs last year.
I didn't increase my standard of living, unlike the J Galt-class-traitors within the working-class who try to live their own versions of the wealthy-class "good life" by using credit cards.
In fact, my business costs went down, my unit-sales and my profits went up, and I managed to reduce my personal cost of living.
I still raised my prices anyway.
Do you know why? Because of all the J Galts, of course.
Because greedy people like J Galt did.
Because addicted people like J Galt will pay.
Because ignorant people like J Galt don't understand they're being ripped off.
I didn't give any raises either. Do you know why?
Because goofs like J Galt don't understand when they're being duped.
Because the low self-worth J Galts don't know what equality or equity looks like.
Because sadomasochists like J Galt love to see other people suffering, especially more than the J Galts recognize their own suffering.
Just increase the working day by 30-minutes, and then a period of time later -- a month, a quarter, whatever it takes to quell the J Galts -- give the J Galts two additional 5-minute coffee/smoke breaks. They will love you.
For the next exploitation -- excuse me -- for the next practice, you have to make sure all the J Galts are cross-trained. You fire the highest-paid J Galt you have and then give all the other J Galts a "promotion" (in title only). They will love you.
Then, with the money you saved from firing the most senior J Galt, you hire a couple of junior J Galts for less than what you paid the senior J Galt, and then you pocket the difference.
Use one of the junior J Galts you hired to fill the position of the lowest J Galt who got promoted, and tell him he'll get to be cross-trained. He'll love you.
Use the other junior-J Galt you hired to act as an "assistant" to the now-senior J Galts. Tell junior J that he'll learn so much watching the senior J's. They'll love you.
Of course, I told everyone that if they didn't like it, they could be replaced, or I could just shut the business down and leave. The J Galts were sad, so I went to Dunkin's last night before they closed and got a bunch of day-old free donuts and threw them on the bench between the J Galt-lockers. They all love me.
The J Galts couldn't afford the equipment, nor do the J Galts know who I use for suppliers, and most of the J Galts are alcoholics with no functional definition of what the word means, so they couldn't take over the business anyway.
I offered the J Galts some options one time, just to see how they reacted -- like watching rats in a cage. They finally agree to vote (what a novel idea), and they were like a bunch of kids in a candy store when they saw how democracy worked.
The Galts didn't pick the best quality, nor the most economical option, so I just did what I wanted. They were sad. So I went to the local pizza shop after work and traded the J Galt-manager $25 worth of CBD Hemp for $50 worth of pizzas. The J Galt-manager even came down and delivered it the next day at lunchtime. All the J Galts love me.
All the J Galts vote for Repubocrats and Demlicans. There's one J Galt who claims to be a "Libertarian" but he's basically the same breed as the other J Galts. He didn't even know there was a Libertarian he could've voted for. Pretty sure he got beaten by his parental-J Galts when he was a kid-J Galt. All the other J Galts give him a hard time.
Ho-hum, J Galts gonna J Galt.
I'm just bored of these J Galts. The J Galts who work for me are REALLY a bunch of J Galts, if you know what I mean. Hahahahaha! I want to get as far away from these J Galt's as possible.
Besides, there are so many J Galts out there who have been more greatly impacted by the manufactured-desperation that has been created and imposed by people like me, why shouldn't I take advantage of it? I'll be able to make more money, which I don't need, by cutting my labor costs on a bunch of other J Galts.
I've lived around TONS of J Galts -- J Galts are the worst. Of course, people like me have fashioned the system so that J Galts become that way.
I can't wait for more desperate J Galts to be wild'n'out so we can throw more of them into the for-profit J Galt-prisons being built -- note to self: check private prison stocks.
Once there are more desperate-J Galts in J Galt-prison, I'll be able to contract J Galt-prison-labor -- via the governments that me and my wealthy-class, right-wing extremist friends have corrupted -- at 25% of my average labor costs.
When it comes to J Galts, one J Galt is as good as any J Galt, and even better is J Galt-desperation behind J Galt-bars.
No more pizza and donuts for these J Galt'ing J Galt'ers.
After "work" I'll be able to go straight home and check my J Galt profits while drinking a high-quality, low-labor cost J-Galt beverage, as J Galt-sportsball games play on my J Galt projector.
==============================
If you made it this far, and you find yourself confused, I apologize. The only thing you need to know is this: don't be like the J Galt who posted above.
You're all capable of being better than that.
Together, we're capable of much more.

@patriciafarrow9586 Yeah, I don't disagree with you -- as long as union members are organized well.
And as long as union-leadership is rooted in the defense of the working-class majority and not the promotion of the wealthy-class minority.
And as long as union-leadership isn't addicted to the socially authoritarian, ego-driven addictions of, and suffering from the same mental illnesses as, the corrupt wealthy-class -- such as social-status, easy-living, money-hoarding, resource-pillaging, material-acquisition, human-manipulation, and labor-exploitation.
The only way to make sure that union-leadership remains uncorrupted is for union-membership to be very well educated regarding the corruption of the wealthy-class and how the wealthy-class have infiltrated every branch of government, corrupting the legislators, the executors, the judiciary, and the overall political and electoral processes.
Due to that infiltration and corruption, the wealthy-class has succeeded in persuading lawmakers to reduce public-education funding, standards, and regulation, thus resulting in the dumbing-down of the working-class citizens.
Coupling together the dumbing-down of the citizens with the propaganda that is spread via the media companies, which are owned by the wealthy-class, and you have a recipe for working-class subjugation, which is exactly what we have.
So, needless to say, there is a lot of work to be done in the undoing of authoritarianism, the addictions, the mental illnesses, the corruption, and the propaganda of the wealthy-class, and the ill-education of the working-class.
But it is honorable work to look out for our less-fortunate neighbors.
While people like Clare are busy shilling for the mob-mentality and minority-rule of the wealthy-class, I'm happy to be the opposition.

@kianh1903 A few reasons. But money was the driving factor, as with any decision made by Capitalists in Capitalism.
The family-owners were at retirement age, and the next generation didn't want to inherit the hotel. So the family-owners took a giant cash payment from the highest bidder. That highest bid was from the private equity company headquartered two thousand miles away.
Then the family-owners took that money and used it to enrich the rest of their family at the expense of the loyal workers and communities.
That big cash payment allowed the family-owner's children and grandchildren to buy up lots of land and start multiple businesses in the area.
Having that stack of cash allowed the family-owners to buy up or out-compete other struggling businesses in the area.
My county is large in land area at 19000 square miles. Depending on which route you take, it takes two to two and a half to get from the southern border to the northern border.
But the county is small in population at 30,000 people. The population has decreased in six out of the last eight decades. More people were living in this county in 1910 than there are now. But, this is the nature of Capitalists and Capitalism.
Capitalists and Capitalism will ravage communities, break up families, end friendships, stall progress, ruin people's hopes and scatter their dreams into the wind if the Capitalists can make a buck. Not to mention the violence, murder, and genocide that Capitalists are willing to impose
It's amusing and terrifying to listen to ignorant working-class locals discuss with amazement the decline in population and opportunities in the county as they muse over how it could have happened. But the answers are simple.
First, the red-scare happened, and then Reaganism happened. Those two periods were followed by the market recessions of 2000 (tech-bubble), 2008 (housing-bubble), and 2020(pandemic-bubble). These things could have been prevented.
If the world wasn't corrupted and controlled by the addicts in the wealthy-class minority, and if they didn't have the help of the addicts in the working-class majority who are trying to become like the addicts in the wealthy-class minority, this world could be a much better place.
My county and so many others are full of suffering people for the same simple reasons: Because working-class fools and wealthy-class knaves run municipalities like businesses made up of dollars instead of running them like communities made up of humans.

@need-to-know- There are different kinds of working-class class-traitors: dumb-victim fools and knowing-suspect knaves.
The fools believe that they can be accepted into the wealthy-class if they just do as their told.
The knaves know they will never be in the wealthy-class, but they do what they're told anyway, in hopes that they won't get knocked down any rungs on the socio-economic ladder.
Whether fools or knaves, both are dangerous. Both groups will do whatever the wealthy-class tells them to do, even if it means going against their own working-class families, friends, and neighbors.
These will be the people who will do the bidding of the wealthy-class when they bring America to its metaphorical-knees. Which, historically and internationally speaking, is probably where most of America, particularly the wealthy-class and their committed servants, belongs.
Unfortunately, when this planned-sabotage happens, the wealthy-class will sneak out the back door, leaving the working-class holding the proverbial-bag of economic and societal hardships, the brunt of which will be felt by the better people at the hands of the fools and knaves.

@reddoggie554 Just being unlike their shite-parents would be a good enough start to win them over.
Additionally, by utilizing the countless structures in place to support the caged working-class victims of the wealthy-class and their propaganda. If you don't know what those structures are, I'm not surprised, and I wouldn't trust you to do what's right by Lucy and Charlie in passing along the info.
But two of the ways I advocate for victims like Charlie and Lucy are, by speaking out against caging indoctrinated humans and by speaking up in favor of caging the indoctrinating humans.
In a better world, Lucy and Charlie would be out of the cages, and into a pro-worker, pro-democracy, pro-equality, pro-equity education program.
In a better world, you and their mother (who are responsible for Charlie and Lucy and their uselessness) would go into cages, and into a pro-worker, pro-democracy, pro-equality, pro-equity education program.
Even though I don't believe in caging humans as a form of rehabilitation, we would have to find out just how brainwashed you are, and whether or not you're likely to sabotage the working-class majority for your masters in the wealthy-class minority.
So perhaps a choice: either you and mom can get in the cages and prove yourselves worthy to the working-class majority, or you can get dumped on a deserted-island where you'll be free to live out your individualist-Libertarian fantasies.
Both options are better than what right-wing extremists want to do, and have done to non-violent leftists in the past.
Don't worry, you'll be fine -- White-American right-wing exceptionalist-power -- right? Huh? Eh?
Yeeeaaah.

It is NOT the extent of your power.
If you are willing to concede and believe it is the extent of your power, you're in the wrong line of work and need to get out of the way.
You could further involve the Teachers' Unions to set up a multi-pronged approach for teachers to report students and their abusive and/or neglectful families to multiple local and state agencies.
You could have clear records and paper trails of the reports to multiple agencies.
A different approach could look like this:
1. The teacher(s) make report(s) to school administration AND to the Teachers Union.
(At this point, you cannot control what the administration does.
But the Teachers Union is a union of teachers. At this point, the teachers CAN control what the Teachers Union does.
If the Teachers Union does nothing, then it's time for good teachers to expand their thinking and improve their tactics to counter the bad teachers and their union who enable the abuse, neglect, and violence.)
2. Establish a paper trail of data: The Teachers Union will use attorneys to make reports to multiple local and state agencies based on the teacher(s) reports. The attorneys MUST document and preserve ALL the reports FROM the teachers, TO the local and state agencies, in order to establish the paper trail of data for the sake of accountability.
3. Wait for local and state agencies to act.
4a. Local and state agencies do something to intervene. Violence deterred. Go to step 5a.
OR
4b. Local and state agencies do nothing and violence occurs. Go to step 5b.
5a. Good. Done. Next case.
5b. Use the paper trail of data to do a plethora of things to hold people accountable.
1) Use the paper trail of data to prove to the citizen-voters that the local and state agencies did nothing to intervene after the reports were made by the teachers and Teachers Union.
2) Use the paper trail of data to aid the affected families and teachers of the victims as they sue the school district, the town/city, the county, the state, corporations, businesses, and anyone else who can be held liable.
3) Use the paper trail of data for future candidates to use in their electoral campaigns to oust the enablers in elected-offices at local, state, and federal levels.
End plan.
If all of this is already happening, that's great.
Do more.
I could probably go on, and I'm in no way a professional nor an expert on policy, law, or education. But I don't suspect you are either.
Based on your claims that you have gone to "the extent of your power," I wouldn't call you a professional teacher or even an amateur problem solver.
To say it another way: For you, or anyone in your position, to say that you have gone to the "extent of your power," is absurd.
If your retort is, "bUt We OnLy SiGnEd Up To Be TeAcHeRsSsSsS," then it's time for you to re-evaluate your calling in life.
These horrific situations, over which you claim to have no additional power, are the horrors that come with teaching in right-wing, sh!tehole countries that are controlled by wealthy-class, sh!tehead right-wingers.
If you can't adapt to meet the demands, then I beg you, quit your job. Sign up for government assistance based on your mental incapacity and deficiency. And get out of the way so other, better people might have an opportunity to show us the extent of what working-class power might look like.
My mom is in education. She's an ignorant, erratic, nearly-useless C@NT who's stupefied by anything new or difficult.
Don't be like my mom.
The kids deserve better.

@starr234 You had me right up until the "the acidic nature" of my response. If that's what you took away from my comments, I think you're confusing the cogent character of my comments with the conviction of your own conscience.
I know the barriers to change are many. This country was started by wealthy-class right-wingers and built off the backs of enslaved working-class humans. Those tortured humans didn't give up, and neither have their descendants. Neither should the rest of the working-class.
The wealthy-class right-wingers who funded the exploration and theft of this land are still in control today. But that doesn't mean settling is the only way. We must adapt, even if within the bounds of anonymity.
There is a national Teachers Union. Get together a group of the good teachers around you and organize, collectivize, and strategize on communicating with those folks at the national level.
Go to Walmart and buy the cheapest burner flip-phones and pre-paid plans with cash. Start making anonymous reports to the National Teachers Union, the US Dept of Education, and some of the national three-letter law enforcement agencies.
As I said, I'm no professional. But if you think you are, then it's time to come up with something better than my suggestions.
If you can't bring yourself to do more than what you're doing, fine, I get it. But don't stop me or others from wanting better for our children than what they're getting. I won't apologize for making suggestions.
You'll have to excuse me even further, though. Because I NEVER called "teachers' horrible nor lazy -- if those are the shoes you saw fitting in your mind while reading my comments, then lace 'em up and wear 'em.
I know for a fact that teachers can do better. I had teachers who went above and beyond for me when members of my own family wouldn't and/or couldn't.
If it weren't for the incredible teachers who loved me harder and better than my own family, I would probably be in a medical situation hooked up to tubes and wires, confined to steel and concrete cages, or deep under the dirt in a wooden box.
I'm thankful for what you can do for the children in your care, even if you can't do more.
But, I don't think any of us are doing all we can do. Not even me
I'm sorry if I hurt you, though I'm not sorry for communicating, even if it does hurt.

@PoliticalEconomy101 -- Clare claims to be an older person, of retirement age (or so she has stated in other threads).
If this is true, then she has been subjected to decades of the propaganda that has been produced and promoted by the wealthy-class minority of beneficiaries who have pillaged and plundered this country, and other countries, off the backs of the working-class majority.
I can't decipher, though, if Claire is a fool or a knave -- does she really not comprehend the exploitation and manipulation that is prompted and perpetuated by the wealthy-class under Capitalism, or does she connivingly pretend to not comprehend the exploitation and manipulation because of the benefits she obtains from it?
Prof. Wolff, who is well beyond the legal retirement age, has also lived through the same propaganda, but the differences between Wolff and Claire are vast.
Firstly, I would say Wolff has critical thinking skills that Claire does not have. If Claire has fallen victim to the propaganda, then she is a fool who lacks critical thinking skills. If Claire is a knave, then she lacks the critical thinking skills that would be necessary for her to realize how poorly she fulfills the role of a shill.
Secondly, Wolff has an altruistic character while Clair's character is one of egotism. Wolff and Claire have both lived decent standards of living under Capitalism. Claire has been vocal about her above-average standard of living (in other threads), and we can witness Wolff's in his videos.
But Claire blames working-class individuals, who have little-to-no power to change their lot in life, for their own troubles and problems. Wolff, on the other hand, speaks the truth about the wealthy-class Capitalists who have the power to alter the system which produces the troubles and problems in other people's lives.
At best, Claire is class-traitor who has been duped by the wealthy-class into elbowing side-to-side at the people in society who she has the most in common with, while kicking down at the least-fortunate.
At worst, Claire is a trash-bag, garbage-can human who understands the lucky-card she has drawn in the rigged hierarchical card-game of life -- a rigged system from which she benefits -- and she doesn't want to give up anything to bring about a higher standard of living for others who weren't so lucky.
Neither scenario is anything to be proud of.
Good luck getting through to her, and props to your for trying.
