@makasharifmutalimov466 well it kinda makes a different in this case if you're ethnically Russian. I am the first to admit that I am also biased towards the country where my family is from (besides the country where I am born and lived in my entire live). I would also not support my country (the one I am born and raised in) joining into a alliance against the country from which my family originates.
5
@ТатьянаЗамесова-ф9р ah fair enough. My apologies. I was taught better than to disrespect an older lady. It explains it alot. If you'd prefer I'd switch to Russian for you.
5
@ionut-valerserbanat3354 I understand, I don't mean union or fixing their problems. More in supporting them by making sure it isn't subject to a coup
5
Big daddy P the facist
5
@adrianmihalcea9822 using the "Z" just made you a nazi. Congratulations!
5
@biteof78 I'd advise you to learn what the meaning of the word "if" means.
4
@marerittene the Israeli born in internationally recognized Isreali territory (so not Westbank) are also locals.
4
Kinda xenophobic comment.
4
@rysea9855 can you please cite to me article 1 of the Dutch constitution?
4
@donenzonen nope, different situation. What you specifically ask is to have people being taxed for not being Dutch. That my friend is racist, whether you like it or not. The fact big cooperations and the rich are "exempt" is because of right wing policies btw. None of that breaks article 1 btw. But creating a Dutch form of Jizya tax, where instead special taxes for non Muslims (what Jizya tax is) you'd specifically tax anyone who isn't Dutch isn't really according to Dutch law and customs. If you want the rich and big companies to stop being exempt, stop voting for the right ))

@moiseshuerta3984 regardless of what happens, the fact that Russia is struggling so much has weakened them militarily and geopolitically. Strategically Russia has lost the war, even if they would annex all of Ukraine. The West has regained a purpose, to stop facist Russia. Sweden and Finland have now officially joined the Western camp. Even neutral Switzerland has joined in the sanctions... It will take decades before Russia's reputation has recovered somewhat and it's geopolitical situation, especially in Europe (but in Asia/Pacific too we see a renewed assertiveness from Japan), will not improve any time soon. Not to mention the time it will take the weak Russian military industrial complex to recover the losses they have been inflicted.
4
@einienj3281 to be fair btw, Ukraine has also recruited certain incarcerated people. Although it is said they screen who they give the chance to atone for their earlier crimes. That said, regardless of the Russians prisoners, the fact that the Russians have send the Kadyrovites says enough. Everyone of the Kadyrovites killed is good for humanity. Does guys are all war criminals. In the Chechen Republic they carry out muders against the gay community. There are reports of these monsters raping and then killing girls in Kherson and other occupied territories.
4
@user-tj7nb9fu9t so stop begging us to be able to join then 😂.
4
9 months to take a 40.000 population city? Will be fun if they try to take an actual large city.
4
@Madame702 the strategic position of Russia being stalled? Yeah correct
4
yeah. I agree. especially considering the increase in chance that one of the countries gets a authoritarian leader the larger your organisation gets. The fact that these countries were democratic when they joined, doesn't mean they stay like this.
4
@amateur9626 cope harder
4
@tomorrowneverdies567 there is no point arguing with these people. Nexit would be the dumbest thing we could do but they don't realize it. They live in the past and say the Netherlands managed survive in the past too. Not realising that if we leave the EU, the organisation will still be there and that we have no placed ourselves outside the market that makes us rich and we would need to get trade agreements that would favour the other parties (because we're small) if we did that. I think Rotterdam would not like such a move.
4
@robertrussell5856 the city is Russian speaking (ethnically Ukrainian though). My girl is from there, we always communicate in Russian.
4
@ketelin4285 lol the fact you revere to your country as "my western country" makes me think you're a Russian 🤣. Kremlin bot
4
@openlyracist but wasn't Russia the guarantor of the peace there )) ?
3
So you're also for the collapse of the Russian Federation and the liberation of it's territory to the native people's. Including Crimea ofcourse?
3
@tanker00v25 yeah exactly. It didn't just invade France. It invaded 4 countries. Fought the Dutch (weak AF) but still, Belgians, British and French besides having forces in Norway, Denmark and Poland. So indeed completely different situation
3
@blakedake19 whom do you mean with Western Europe? As a Dutchman I must say I rather would have Turkey's military than the Dutch one
3
@Ar1AnX1x western ideology means, although often there are flaws in this as wel, ideals like democracy, human rights, freedom of speech etc. These things are not really what is good for the power of dictators like Putin and to a lesser degree the Chinese leader (forgot his name... oops)
3
@einienj3281 lol I reacted before. Sorry. I now realise you meant the meme about the name of the Chinese leader 😂
3
Nope. It seems TLDR doesn't know the Dutch political system. He was already ruling with a minority in the senate (an ancient relic we should abolish) so there doesn't change much here. Dutch governments are always about comprising so yeah. In two years we will see if it is the end of Rutte.
3
so why are you applying to join ))? 🤡. You ask if you can join, we don't ask you to join, we couldn't care less )).
3
@user-tj7nb9fu9t also nice racism going on there. Nice to see Serbs have changed since the 90's of the last century👍
3
@ten_tego_teges in a way you are right about this. However I think respecting Ukraine's territorial integrity is not humiliating Russia. But we shouldn't go further than that
3
@LuggageStardate you would say treaty, if Russia would have shown to be a reliable partner... it isn't. Russia has shown that Otto von Bismarck was right all along when he said agreements with the Russians are not worth the paper they are written on. So in this case I understand Lithuania complying with the EU sanctions.
3
Der Traubengott Iol yes worst kept secret ever.
3
@kevinyaucheekin1319 sucks when it's the other party breaking it's promises isn't it?
3
@yurichtube1162 can't wait😘
3
the Finnish president said that the fact that Russia demanded and said that Sweden and Finland couldn't join, was what changed their opinion. Either Finland and Sweden join NATO and show they are sovereign states who can decide their own foreign policy, or they would have created a precedent of Russia meddling into their foreign affairs. ofcourse the war in Ukraine plays a big role too, but the fact that Russia showed such disregard for Swedish and Finnish sovereignty pushed them over the edge. All Putin had to do, was keep his mouth shut and these countries might not have joined. But then again, Putin is NATO's best recruiter.
3
@Peyp59 and we are playing the racism card. One that is stupid too considering the amount of countries that are part of the EU which aren't countries with people "with blue eyes and blonde hair". A reason Turkey can't join now is because it's not really a democracy anymore. The reason why it couldn't join before? Its conflicts with Greece over Cyprus (and now the Aegean sea). Please stop playing the victim, and it's honestly ridiculous that you try to play the racism card.
3
@cristianrusu2529 it's a policy that in the end is doomed to fail and leave the country, and the territories it used for this purpose, in ruin. We can go see countless examples of this in history of an Empire (which Russia is eventhough Putin apologists would claim otherwise) destroying itself by over extending. The British Empire fell apart because of the rise of nationalism ofcourse but also because it simply couldn't pay for it's Empire anymore after both World Wars. Besides India, the majority of its overseas territories cost the British more money than they earned with holding them. When India became independent, collapse of the Empire was inevitable. In modern times with nationalism playing a significantly larger role than it used to, as we can see in the insurgencies in nearly all countries that get occupied, Russia might be heading down this path too.
3
@alexandarvoncarsteinzarovi3723 yeah understand but I just meant militarily support them in case of a coup
3
@Wendeta-hq2cp so by your definition, everything that doesn't agree with you is propaganda? I have friends from Mariupol, they confirm what was shown in 20 days in Mariupol. They're also "random people from Mariupol", but what they say is propaganda I guess?
3
@Wendeta-hq2cp Bandera is a hero in Ukraine, I personally don't see much in him, but I am called a Ukronazi and Banderite anyway, so who cares. For me the flag means resistance. Also what is your opinion of Russia having Stalin as a hero? He is also a monster, worse than Bandera in every regard. Btw personally my hero is Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko ))
3
@dyawr but they did change the title. So that's great tbh
3
@makaramuss ah yes let's just ban all news, lmao
3
@arnoldsaunders7885 the true chechens don't fight for the Russians. Maybe you should see the imagines for Grozny. And bombing a European country for 48 nights? Seriously ww2 lol let's not begin about the Russian atrocities then. And it's currently bombing a European Capital for 22 days straight. So good on it's way. You like to reference ww2, people like you are the traitors and nazi supporters. Russia is a beginning facists state. Not different from the early stages of Nazi Germany. The fact you downplay the invasion of Georgia and the war in Chechnya shows how much you twist history to suit your own needs, a typical move in the Russian playbook. I also judge Russia on it's actions, an invasion of a sovereign European neighbour deserves every retaliation possible. It is Russia that destroyed European peace. Nobody else. Also I love the whataboutism lol. When talking about current situations you guys always start talking about things from the past. I hope you are living well in your alternative reality.
3
@strpet27 not to mention, that her (Russia) policy in Armenia and Nargorno-Karabach directly contradicts her own policies in Georgia (Abkhazia and South Osettia), Moldova (Transnistria) and Ukraine (Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts) were it actively supportered seperatists. It used "invasions" of said seperatist states by the countries to which their territories officially belong to intervene and instigate invasions. So what it shows, is that Russia only thinks about herself. Because when Azerbaijan did the same Georgia did with South Osettia, for which Russia went to war, with Nargorno-Karabach, they didn't help and suddenly do recognize internationally recognized borders.
2
Yeah I'd consider that a black sun. But my friends from UA tell me it's something else. I suppose it is like how the Swastika has different meanings for, different peoples.
2
@Galina Timo me in lmao Ukraine was neutral before 2014 too orc. Doesn't stop them from invading. But amazing reaction on me just asking if they could ask for help to stop coup attempts )) shows enough about you vatnik. Why won't you come to Donbas with me? I have family from there. We'd gladly show you around and improve you orc ))
2
@Galina Timo me in considering Moldova merely has an army. Sure. But what do you want from me? You seek to specifically want to fight me whilst all I do is support Moldova and Ukraine's souverenighty and territorial integrity
2
@Galina Timo me in first off, what are you talking about with Jews? What is wrong with you? How did you come up with that? Secondly I have lived jn de Donbas and have family there, so what are you talking about? I haven't said anything about Transnistria, so don't try to frame me. That is kinda an orc thing to do. Also do you think I am American? Lol. My mom gave me a American first name because she loved American shows. But if you want I can also tell you in Russian, that you're being an annoying ass. I suppose you support Russia, in which case, leave and go live there. Донбас - це Україна !. Stop bothering me with your bs vatnik. Слава Україні! Смерть ворогам!
2
@aucourant9998 so should other countries annex territories that aren't ethnically Russian from Russia.
2
@BoGustav yeah but I don't think the Russians will attack them. I think they'll try an internal coup. Not an attack from transnistria without having a direct connection to them and being stuck then between two hostile forces (Ukraine and Moldova). With Ukrainian air defense on the North, East and South of Moldova as well as Romanian airspace to the West making supplying them impossible. An attack from there would only happen if Budjak raion would be taken.
