Also if we talk about Bandera, a horrible man responsible for the deaths of thousands, what do you then think of the Russians still celebrating Lenin, to the point of still having his body on display. A man who is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths and especially what do you think of how they celebrate Stalin? Ukraine : democratic elected JEWISH president (worst nazis ever if they have a Jewish president) Russia: Dictator who's ideology is based on Alexander Dugin, the man who founded the National Bolshevik party in Russia (could be considered a facist party). Ukraine: hasn't ever declared war, or intervened since it's independence, Russia: Moldova, Chechnya, Georgia, Crimea, Ukraine. Soooooo. And then I didn't mention the fact that Ukraine has freedom of speech and press. Russia has neither since the new law (look alot like the laws in Germany of the 30's). Putin's speeches are like those of Hitler and Mussolini, Zelensky talks more like the leaders of the allies did. Then there is the sick rally in Moscow that looked like the nazi rallies in Nuremberg and lastly the Z symbol who's symbolic meaning and use is similar to that of the swastika in Nazi Germany. So much so that this Russian symbol will be banned in certain German states.... if the Ukrainians are nazi's they are the worst nazi's in history. No my friend, Russia is the facist state of the 21th century.

About Ukraine, even if what you said is true, which it isn't, it is the choice of the Ukrainians. They decide themselves what they do, not Russia. They have no obligation towards Russia. They are their own nation and country. Russia is exactly the same as the US but where the US practices neo-Imperialism, Russia is stuck in the 19th and early 20th century in terms of Imperialism. You are the hypocrite mate. About the US wanting to rule the world, we all voluntarily and willingly joined NATO. The reason why Russia has proven again this year. We did so as independent countries as we can decide ourselves whom we are allied with. So stop portraying the Russians as a victim. They aren't. I know it is ingrained in Russian culture at this point, but come on. Putin even said Poland started ww2 as in to not have to take responsibility for the USSR starting ww2 together with the Germans by invading Poland. You can say what you want but the Americans atleast owe up to the mess they create. The sheer entitlement I read in your comment is disgusting. Russia doesn't own Ukraine. Ukraine decides its own future, as it is an equal to Russia.

I mean personally I am glad people with world views like yours, which are quite imperialist, aren't able to come here anymore. But the fact that the economy of Russia is the size of that of the Benelux says enough about the waste of material and human resources in Russia. Ofcourse the Benelux punches above its weight, but it shows enough about the wasted potential of Russia, that once again focuses on destroying rather than building. But to give you a hint, I am from the country who's flag, your current national flag is based on )). Besides being half Ukrainian )).

  29.  @seaglance  the term fraternal peoples is also not really appreciated by the Ukrainians anymore. Russia is not really a brother, it says it is, but it always wants to dominate it's other "brothers". Brothers don't do that. They are closely related culturally, linguistically and historically, but the fraternal bond was broken by Russia on February 24th after it was already damaged in 2014. Just like how Germany destroyed its fraternal bonds with the Dutch in ww2.

My country, which is tiny, together with other tiny countries Belgium and Luxembourg, has a gdp larger that that of Russia xD. But sure Russia is an amazing country.

  39. This step he has taken means there is no way back. I hope everyone realizes this. If he incorporates these lands it means either he wins fully or he is taken down. There is no "just push the Russians out" anymore. He will consider those territories occupied in Cherson, Zaphorizia, Donetsk and Luhansk as occupied territories. He could never stop without total victory. The only path now is futher escalation. I hope everyone is preparing themselves, we're on the path to a world war.

If not by the army, than by the local populations. Whilst obviously it is impossible to know if the armies buried every body, the utter disregard for human life that the Russians show, has only been matched by the USSR and Nazi Germany. To give an example of how for example the Romans regarded this matter, they lost a couple of legions in Germania, the Germanic tribes then used the bones of the fallen Roman soldiers, as well as the Roman Legionary Eagles, to create an altar. The Roman Empire went on a punitive expedition to retrieve the Legionary Eagles as well as to destroy the altar and properly bury their death. Considering it a utter humiliation that they couldn't before.

If Russia (and the US too) would let countries chose their own future and not think they can boss around the smaller nations, the Ukrainians would have lived in peace now. This conflict started in 2014 and has become a larger conflict with Ukraine caught in the middle. However Ukraine's westward trajectory is not due to the US but Russia. As there is no other alternative for Ukraine now. As the alternative means subjugation (2014 - 2022) or ceasing to exist as a nation (2022 onwards)
